Hizomi Hyuga

Hizomi Hyuga

D-rank
It had been a few months since Hizomi last saw the young traveling taijutsu specialist named Zeref after she had just graduated from the ninja academy, she had a very brief sparing session with that ended due to her mother's interruption's at the time. During the months Hizomi spent her time idling training her taijutsu for battle, at one point she meant a another genin in her village by the name of Kilasa Manacha that was a prominent raiton user, as she spent time with her Hizomi had managed to learn different raiton style technique's  and how to counter or use them to her own advantage.

Through Kilasa she meant another genin who had skill's in suiton, however Hizomi's suiton skills weren't as great as her raiton so she only became able to learn one water style technique that also served to augment her fighting style.

Eventually after training for a bit with her fellow genin the chunin exam had rolled around, Hizomi missed the mark to apply for it but she was excited to visit kumogakure for a chance to watch genin and the future chunin compete to finish their trials and eventually face each other on a one vs one match.

Once she made the decision she and a few other genin made a request to have  a chunin and a jonin escort them to the village of Kumogakure as the travel could prove potentially fatal if they weren't careful, in the spirit's of traveling Hizomi decided to spend the rest of that day packing food pills for the duration of the trip and once she was done did reading on the village of Kumogakure in Konahagakure's library. She had spent hours reading up on their history and by the time she felt she held adequate information it was already approaching night time, she decided to go home and sleep well for the trip to watch the chunin exam's.

It was now the early morning of the day of the trip usually Hizomi would still be sleeping as the sun wasn't even up but through her excitement for the travel she had only slept a few hours but such little time seemed to have a great effect as Hizomi was ready and warring to go as she had quickly packed a kunai in her pouch and proudly displayed her ninja headband around her waist, she had rushed to the meeting site and almost a full hour had passed before everyone showed up and the jonin not wasting time quickly announced "Let's go, we have no time to waste" before starting to run just slow enough for Hizomi and the other genin present to keep up with.

Three day's had passed since Hizomi's group left Konahagakure and finally reached Kumogakure, they had encountered no problem's doing their journey which made Hizomi somewhat paranoid but once they were right in front of the village's entrance Hizomi sighed with relief that nothing had happened. The chunin of the group quickly gathered everyone around before explaining, "Alright everyone here's the simple rule, simply stay put in the boundaries of Kumogakure and your allowed to do whatever you wish as long as it does not upset the bonds between the village's" With those words everyone had seemed to scatter about as if they knew what to do, Hizomi decided she would take interest in the training site of Kumogakure's for fun and grabbed a map of the village that she had copied from the library book of current site's of the village and quickly made haste towards the training grounds for fun.

Supaku was beyond excited. Being able to observe the Chuunin Exams was bound to be the highlight of her year. There were so many people milling about in the Exam grounds, it was thrilling. She had not had time to enter the Exams themselves, having been busy with training and missions, but she was glad to at least be able to see others compete. Kumogakure was an interesting Village, very different from Konoha, and yet similar enough in ways that she didn’t feel completely out of place. They had all the things she was used to seeing in her home village; groups of genin trying their best to look both respectable and important, shinobi guards trying and failing to not look bored out of their skulls, and food carts and trinket shops run by civilians who were trying to look happy to see every person they made eye contact with in an effort to secure more sales. It was a somewhat comforting feeling to realize that even countries away the world still spun much the same.

Her mother had not been overly enthused to have her daughter attend the Chuunin Exams. It had been a struggle to convince her mother that she wasn’t going to be kidnapped and horribly mutilated and then killed. Supaku felt that she couldn’t blame her mother for feeling overly protective, after all that had happened once. Although she couldn’t compete, she wanted to at least represent her beloved village of Konoha and perhaps cheer on some of her fellow Konoha shinobi. With that in mind she had taken extra care in her appearance. She hadn’t gone overboard, nothing too formal as she didn’t want to appear snobby. But while she didn’t think her current appearance would draw too much attention, she was certain that had she put less effort in, that would have drawn notice. And the kind of notice that she didn’t feel was beneficial in representing her Village. A pair of grey slacks paired with a pale grey linen shirt was what she had finally decided on. She had tucked in the buttoned shirt just at the front, allowing her to show off an intricately tooled dark leather belt. She had the hem of her pants rolled up so they just barely skimmed the top of her leather boots, not only for fashion's sake but also to avoid her pant hem catching on the metal hardware of her boots should she find it necessary to engage in combat. She was almost certain that it would not come to that, but she had been wrong before, and she’d rather be slightly over prepared than incorrect and dead. She tied her long lavender hued hair back in a ponytail, and secured it with the one piece of coloured clothing she wore; a yellow silk scarf. She enjoyed the contrast that the yellow provided to the purple of her hair. And since she was not here on any sort of mission she didn’t feel it inappropriate to stand out just a tiny bit.

She thought long and hard about whether she should wear her Konoha head protector, and if she should bring her weapons. It was difficult for her to know what would be appropriate in this situation, never having left the Village before. Finally, after much anxious deliberation, she decided that it would be worse not to have them. So she had placed her kunai and her senbon in a pouch on her belt and dutifully tied her Hitai-Ate across her forehead, pulling her long bangs out over the cloth band. In the end she was glad to have done so, when faced with situations where she needed to interact with someone, she had found it most helpful that people recognized that she was a shinobi from another Village. She had wished that Anon had come with her, but she supposed he was busy. Which of course was fine, she just would have very much liked to share this experience with him. She stood in the middle of a large area, filled with excited chatter, and the smell of food, all while staring off into space. She knew she should be more attentive, but thinking on Anon had brought up a melancholy she couldn’t shake for the moment. With a sigh she would place her hands in her pockets, picked a direction at random and started walking, muttering quietly to herself as she did. “You know a few months ago this wouldn’t even have been a concern Supaku. Just forget it and enjoy yourself dummy.”
