Hanbei had been travelling some time, the forest never seemed to be this large before, though, what would he know? All Hanbei knew is that he was asked to deliver a message from Konoha to the land of iwa at the request of a member of the Inazuka family and then return. At least until he was able to recover, it was good he was running these kinds of errands. The caravan that he was taking to Iwa was making its way on good time, he had signed on to help protect them should bandits get in the way, but it seemed that the path would be a relatively calm one this time around, much like the last one that Hanbei had been on. He'd heard that Konoha was meant to be a land of opportunity and diverse people and ninja, and that Iwas was different in a great many ways, he could not wait to see how the people worked together to better the world that they lived in. Hanbei could not believe when he reached the land of rock that such a Utopia existed, he had come from a rather isolated nation in Kumo, then to another in Suna only to be met with the openness of Konoha, but this was nearing lawlessness and absolute anarchy. Tall walls seemed to defy the laws of nature as Hanbei could almost feel the power of the stone brimming with force as it radiated a chakra signature. The whole city seemed to be built like this, the craftsmanship was almost difficult to imagine.

This was why he was so nervous?

Hanbei had been the third best ninja in the chuunin exams, he had been a fighter to reckon with, dispatching many of his opponents in one go, many of them had even been from Iwa. Perhaps it was just anxiety playing up, wondering if everything had changed in two years, while he had been more or less the same, or perhaps it was the fact that he had not seen his father in so long. What was certain, was that he knew that he would sill be looking for him. He only hoped that Kanbei would not miss Hanbei while he was out of town for this short while. But Henbei felt, on some level, though he could not really put why into words... he needed to be on his own for a while, and realize what his dream was... to that end he had met friends, trained with people and even made a home for himself in konoha for the length of his stay.
