1 And Now We Leave [Open/Konoha to Suna/No Kill] Mon Dec 10, 2012 2:00 am
Gin
Retired
This trip had been more than satisfactory. Sure, most of it was spent lounging about and doing absolutely nothing, but she did manage to pry Soul Cutter off of Jurou's hands (And she also started to get along with him. It was strange, really). And she and Sake had, well... best not go into detail about that right now. Speaking of Sake, Gin was quite nervous. She was now travelling back home, back to Suna, but that wasn't what was wracking her nerves at the moment. She took a deep breath, trying to analyze all of the horribly wrong ways that this situation could go. She hadn't told Sake yet that she had kids. Nor had she told him that Jurou Osada - current Mizukage of a nonexistent village - was the father. That was going to be hard to explain. She paced around the meeting place, walking in circles near Konoha's main gate. How to explain this? Um... "Hey, Sake, love, you know how you were gone for years? Well, I kind of had kids while you were gone. Here they are! Meet Chie and Reiko! And did I mention that Jurou's the father? Well, meet him, too! The three of them will now be living with us in Suna!" Though direct and to the point, that wouldn't quite cut it. Nope, that would likely drive the man towards the other end of Konoha. Or towards the other end of the continent. Gin sighed. She hated this. She had finally found someone she liked, someone she might even be... In love with. Yes, that possibility existed, despite the fact that Gin had yet to come to terms with it. In fact, one could argue that she had always been in love with him, that he was the only person who made her feel whole, even while they were still children in the orphanage. The idea of spending the rest of her life with Sake didn't sound too bad. In fact, it sounded wonderful to Gin.
But that would all come crashing into a downward spiral soon enough. He would leave her and Gin would once again go into a depression, filled only by booze- wait. She couldn't even drink anymore. Fantastic. She wanted to cry, now. She slumped against the wall miserably and winced. Her body was still covered in healing burns. There were bandages wrapped all over her body, concealing many cuts, bruises, burns and broken bones. It was a wonder that she was still standing. But at least she now had a medic as a student. She would let Karoshi take care of her remaining injuries once they got to Sunagakure. Now all she had to do was wait for the others to get there and brace herself for another existential crisis. It was at about that point that she felt someone tugging at her pants. Again, Gin winced. Everything was still sore. She lifted her gaze to find Chie there. She wanted to pick up the small child and carry her in her arms. But that would hurt like a bitch. Then again, this was her child. She could stand the pain for her baby girl. "Hi mommy," She said, smiling at Gin. Her mother smiled back and kissed her on the cheek. "Hi baby," She said, happily hugging her three year old child. "Where're Reiko and daddy?" She asked. Chie shrugged, not knowing the answer to that question. "Are we going home, now?" She asked, to which Gin simply nodded. Chie clapped her hands happily. Now all they had to do was wait for everyone else before they could finally get going.
