Being in Konoha was a breath of fresh air. For the first time since she had been named Kazekage, the young woman finally had time to relax and call her own. She had been able to sleep in, read her novels, go out drinking, explore Konoha and even train with one of her students and all without having to worry about paperwork. The feeling was glorious, really. She felt free. However, this didn't last too long. After only a couple of days after arriving at Konoha, Gin found herself running out of things to do. She had never really realized how much running Suna and constantly going on missions had kept her occupied. She now stared at the small bag of clothing and items that she had brought to Konoha with her and frowned. There was very little in there and hardly enough to keep her entertained. She had brought 3 books and had already read two of them and was half way into the other one. There were a couple of bottles of assorted drinks, but there was really no point in drinking alone. She sighed and plopped down on the bed in her hotel room. It was comfortable enough. It wasn't her bed, it felt slightly foreign, but it was good enough while she stayed in Konoha. She sat up on the bed and decided to flip through the channels to try and see what was on TV. All she saw were live coverages of the Chuunin exams. Brilliant. After a few minutes, she sighed heavily and decided that she might as well take a nap while she had free time on her hands. With nothing better to do, the young Kazekage tucked herself in and closed her eyes.

Konoha. It was exactly like what Sake expected it to be: boring and full of a whole shitload of nothing to do. Well, he had to come, what else would there be to do in Sunagakure other than sit around and be lonely; practically the whole village had gone to Konoha. The Chuunin exams were pretty boring to be honest, just a bunch of puny genin prancing around trying not to die. Sake briefly recalled his Chuunin exam, before he was stripped of rank and exiled. Most of the genin hid, trying harder at not losing than winning. The fear of losing was much stronger than the desire to win. That was the problem with genin; no confidence at all. Then again, every now and then a Genin like Sake pops up. An over confident, arrogant bastard, but one hell of a shinobi. Yep, Sake destroyed the Chuunin exams, going in head first, crushing the opposition. The written exam was a breeze, the preliminary fights easier. The forest of death wasnt too hard and the final fights were all to simple. Sake had mellowed down a bit after being exiled, he was still pretty confident in his abilities, possibly over confident, but at least he had a strategic mind.

Nothing to do at all in Konoha. Well there was one thing, visiting Gin. Gin was pretty much the only reason the Sake had come to Konoha, he was in love with her and not being able to see her for over a month would probably be a bit too much. Apparently she had come on diplomatic duty, but Sake had only seen her holed up in her room, downing shots. Nevertheless, she was a good Kage, kept Suna in order. She just needed to ease up on the alcohol. Sake reached Gins door and knocked, expecting an angry answer, but what else was there to do?

Gin had fallen into a dreamless sleep rather quickly. She blamed it on the accumulated stress that came from being Kazekage. Now that she thought about it, she rather hated the job. If it wasn't for the fact that it let her protect Sunagakure to the best of he ability, she probably wouldn't have taken it. The job was taxing and it definitely wasn't worth the low wage that it paid. Nevertheless, she did what she had to do... most of the time. She liked to procrastinate quite a bit. Well, at least now she had time to catch up on her sleep and rest. It was almost like a paid vacation, truth be told. The key word there was almost. She still had to meet with both the Kazekage and the Mizukage. She shuddered. The mere thought of having to sit down and have a calm conversation with Jurou was quite disturbing. Well, at least she would be able to visit her kids while she was in Konoha. They would come back to Sunagakure in a few weeks with her and frankly, she didn't know what to do. In other words, she didn't know how Sake would take to the fact that Gin now had children. Well, she would deal with that later. Now was the time for sleep.

Her nap was interrupted by loud knocking on the door. Gin's eyes narrowed. She hardly ever woke up in a good mood. She stood up from her bed, knowing that the knocking wouldn't cease until she opened the door. She didn't even bother to check who it was, really. She cared little if people saw her in her underwear, as she was now. She pulled the door open, ready to glare and possibly punch whoever was there. But as she saw it was Sake, her gaze softened. "You woke me up," She said, lazily running a hand through her hair and leaning against the door frame. She had a soft grin on her face as she looked at him. "You might as well come in," She said, sighing lightly and turning around lie back down on her bed, though she didn't bother to crawl under the sheets

Sake looked into the doorway as the door swung open, a very pissed off Gin in the way. Sake braced himself from the inevitable punch, but relaxed when Gin's expression changed. Recently she had been much less violent towards him than he could remember. When they were Chuunin, Gin was very commanding over Sake, and a hard punch thrown in Sake's direction was not a rare occurrence. But recently, ever since Sake had confessed his feelings for her, she had certainly held back on the vicious punches. A chill ran down his spine as she ran a hand through his hair and grinned at him. An invite into the house was all that Sake needed. He followed Gin into the spacious room, and jumped onto the couch, his hands behind his head, relaxing for the first time since they had reached Konohagakure.

Sake looked around the room, it was pretty big; nothing less would Konoha provide for the mighty Kazekage of the Sand. She had a double bed, with a very soft looking blanket on it, a TV, a fridge - no doubt stocked full of alcohol - and a nice table with 4 seats around it. Gin must be having a ball in this room, it was more than Sake was used to; then again, he was used to sleeping in caves in the desert. He watched as Gin did nothing less than...flop on the bed. He turned to her, a grin spreading across his face and spoke in a soft, but playful tone.
"So seeing as you invited me to this dump, it's your duty to entertain me. What do you say me and you go on a date?"

Gin could have sworn that she saw Sake flinch when she opened the door. No doubt he was expecting a vicious greeting. The young Kazekage chuckled as she flopped down on her bed. It was warm and comfortable, it'd be hard to get her out of it. She watched with a lazy smile on her face as Sake made himself comfortable on her couch. She raised an eyebrow at what he said. Last she had checked, her duty was to diplomacy while she was here. And all other duties always revolved around protecting Sunagakure. "It's my duty to entertain you?" She repeated. A sly smile formed on her face as she placed her hands over her bare stomach. "Trust me, I can entertain you in many, many ways, Uisuki," She said, purposely giving her sentence a double meaning and winking at him. "But if you want to go out on a date with me, you'll have to make it worthwhile for me," She said. "Otherwise we'll be staying here for the rest of the day." And with that said, she slumped into the pillows behind her with a satisfied smile on her face. She wouldn't really mind staying home. That would mean less chances of running into Jurou. And she wasn't quite sure that she wanted to run into Chie and Reiko while she was out on a date. However, the idea of Sake taking her out to just relax and have fun was also tempting. At this point, she could do either, as long as she was with - Wait, that was a strange thought. She shook her head as if to clear her mind. Her feelings still confused her, to be honest. Did being with Sake really make her that happy?

Typical Gin, replying with some sexual comment, then bitching before telling Sake to do something. Of course he always did it. It was just like Sake to do what Gin told him, it was in his best wishes to please Gin. A wide smile spread across Sake's face at that though. He could please Gin in many, many ways. So she wanted to make it worthwhile huh? Well, Sake had heard of a place in Konoha that made the best Ramen around, but that was a bit of a cliche to take her to. Sake needed to surprise Gin, take her somewhere and never let her forget their official first date. Where to go in Konoha, the most boring village in the world? A pub was out of the question, after the raging hangover that Sake was still suffering from due to the blowout a few nights ago, Sake wasnt going to drink for a while. Restaurants were out of the question, boring and cliche. Where to go, where to go? Well, there was one place they could go. The hot springs. A place where they could both relax, maybe have a light drink or two, not too much. It would be a nice date. Sake barely moved when he spoke to Gin,
"What do you say we go chill at the hot springs?"

Gin raised an eyebrow. The idea of going to the host springs wasn't bad at all. In fact, she was beginning to look forward to it. A smile spread across Gin's face, matching Sake's. "Alright, that sounds like it's worth leaving my comfortable bed," She said as she stood up and walked towards Sake. As she stood behind the couch, she briefly wrapped her arms around him and kissed his cheek. "Let me slip on a pair of jeans and we can leave," She said, letting go of him and heading towards the small dresser at the other end of the room. The young Kazekage hadn't really brought much with her, just what she could carry without the weight becoming a nuisance. She pulled out a pair of jeans and slipped them on. "Don't turn around," She warned Sake before taking off her bra and switching it to another one, more suitable for the public eye. "There! We can leave, now!" She called towards Sake as she walked towards the door.

Sake watched as Gin raised her eyebrow, damn, she didnt like the idea. Her words spoke louder than her actions, apparently she quite liked the idea. Sake smiled. Finally, some alone time for Sake and Gin. They had both been pretty separated during the exams. Gin was working, Sake was just going around, doing stuff. But now an opportunity arose, a day alone at the hotsprings to relax. Just Gin and Sake alone. Sake let Gin kiss him on the cheek, and was tempted to turn around when she said "Dont Look" but managed to resist the urge. Gin gave him the signal and they both left out the door, strolling to the hot springs. Sake pondered for a second as he caught up to Gin and began walking by her side. Should he go for the hand hold? Would he be able to handle the embarrassment of rejection? Who was he kidding, of course he could. Sake slowly moved his hand towards Gin's, and softly grabbed a hold of it. He turned to her, with one of his signature stupid grins on his face.

"So now that the relationship is official, we are supposed to do this kind of stuff, right?"

Sake's tone was joking, even though what he said had a level of seriousness to it.

Gin stepped happily onto the streets of Konoha. She stretched her arms over her head and yawned loudly. She was still slightly groggy from her nap. However, she was in a very good mood. She had wanted to check out the hot springs for a while now. Visiting them with Sake just made things even better. Gin sighed happily as she walked down the streets, not really paying attention. She was just heading towards the hot springs absentmindedly, looking at her surroundings. She was slightly startled when she felt Sake's hand slip into hers. She involuntarily flinched before realizing that it was just Sake. She looked at his hand, which was now brushing against her own. She hesitated for a moment before taking hold of Sake's hand and lacing her fingers with his. His hand was warm. Holding it sent shivers down her spine. It was a pleasant sensation, really. Gin smiled widely when she saw the expression on Sake's face. "I suppose you're right," She said, avoiding his gaze. She was slightly embarrassed.

They were nearing the hot springs, now. It was composed by a set of small buildings with a steaming river running through the middle. Just looking at the hot water made the young Kazekage giddy. She'd been wanting to go there since she'd arrived in Konoha. "Would you rather get a private hot spring or should we just join in one of the public ones?" She asked absentmindedly as they both approached the main building.

The walk to the hot springs was a slow and pleasant one. Sake normally hated walking, but strolling with Gin's hand in his just made things a whole lot better. Being with Gin, even before they were together always used to send chills down Sake's spine, he was ecstatic just to be in her presence. But now that they were in a relationship, it was as good as it gets. It was a whole other level than enjoyable, the tingles were barely even noticeable compared to what Sake was experiencing while being together with Gin. It wasnt enjoyment, no, it was much better than that. It was bliss.

The hot springs, a place of brilliance. You could go relax on your own, go chill with a crew of friends or have some quality time with your significant other. Of course Sake was only interested in the third right now. Just the thought of it, Sake was ready for an amazing day alone with Gin.

"Would you rather get a private hot spring or should we just join in one of the public ones?"

Sake smiled, Gin should have already known the answer, Sake was willing to bet that she did. It was a date, not hanging out. of course Sake wanted to be alone. Sake spoke with a joking tone:

"You think I wanna bathe with a bunch of smelly peasants? The Kazekage and her boyfriend deserve much better! Lets go find us a private hot spring to relax!"

Gin laughed at what Sake said. She obviously preferred to bathe in a more private setting, but she wanted to run it by Sake first. Sure, they were on a date, but maybe bathing together practically naked would be a little too soon. But then again, Sake was still a man. He probably wouldn't refuse an opportunity like that ever. And it wasn't as if Gin minded. She was a bit of an exhibitionist when it came to her body. That was obvious, though, just by the way she dressed. There was something about what he said that she found... strange. Sake had just called himself her boyfriend. She wasn't too sure that she liked how that sounded. Their relationship was obviously beyond friendship, but she wan't too sure that she liked the sound of being called Sake's girlfriend. It wasn't that she had commitment issues. No, the term just sounded... superficial to her. In any case, she would let it go for now. "Private one it is, then!" She called as she entered the reception.

The woman at the reception worked quickly to get them their own hot spring. She led them there soon enough. Gin entered the small locker room. It had a set of robes and towels and somewhere where she and Sake could leave their clothes. The hot spring was large enough to easily fit 6 people in it. It was more than enough for both of them. There was a small space with a curtain in front of it where she could change. She took off her clothes and wrapped a towel around herself before stepping out into the room once again. "You ready?" She asked Sake.

The Konoha hot springs were unlike anything Sake had ever seen. So many baths, so many people. The reception was luxurious, the heat from the baths could be felt from a mile away. The smell of burning incense in the reception. It was all just too perfect. The day should prove to be serene and relaxing. Sake was...not excited. No, that wasnt the word. He was...he was ready for the most amazing day he would ever have with Gin. Are you supposed to be excited for relaxation? Sake didnt really care to be honest, he just wanted to hop into the springs and chill with Gin. The nice lady at the reception lead Sake and Gin to their private bath, Sake held Gin's hand the whole way. Sake went into the changing room and hurriedly stripped off and wrapping himself in a towel. He walked outside and felt the heat of the baths. Ok, yes, he was excited. Gin asked him if he was ready, he laughed. Of course was ready. He stepped into the bath and patted the water next to him, inviting Gin in.

Gin took a moment to stare at Sake as he walked towards the hot spring. He had definitely grown since he left Suna so many years ago. He was no longer the scrawny little kid that he used to be. Sake had obviously grown taller and more muscular and his face had become even more handsome than it used to be. Gin smiled softly, reminiscing about their childhood together. They had both met at the Academy and had spent several years together, living in Suna's local orphanage. He had been Gin's only friend there. She was snapped out of her thoughts when Sake patted the water next to him. She smiled and walked towards the edge of the water and stood there for a brief moment, sinking a foot into the water to test the temperature. The water was hot, but it wasn't scalding. She slowly entered the water and sighed happily. Gin sat down next to Sake on the makeshift bench that the pool offered and leaned her head against the crook of his neck. She closed her eyes, letting herself relax. "And to think I thought you were dead up until about a month ago," She spoke, smiling and simply enjoying the fact that she was next to her best friend and... romantic interest? Again, Gin couldn't quite define what Sake was to her. But never mind that. She could think about such things later, along with how to tell him that she was now a mother of two. She dreaded that moment. Most people she took interest in fled immediately after she mentioned Chie and Reiko. She knew that Sake was different, that he genuinely cared for her, but there was still no telling how he would react. The look on her face visibly contorted as she imagined the scene. After a brief moment, she wiped the look off of her face. She didn't want to ruin the moment. "Honestly, it still shocks me a little to see you next to me. I keep on thinking that you're some sort of figment of my imagination and that you'll suddenly disappear." She paused briefly. For some reason, Gin felt vulnerable. She disliked stating what she felt out loud, it always made her feel like she could easily get hurt or made fun of. "Sounds stupid, doesn't it?" She added, forcing herself to laugh lightly, trying to take out some of the seriousness in her words.

Sake watched as Gin walked to get into the bath next to him. She certainly retained the perfect shape she had to her body while he was gone. The proportion was perfect, and she just had that natural female swag. It was funny to think that all those years ago Sake was simply watching from the shadows, being Gin's secret Guardian. Now they were in a...relationship? It was on and off really, it wasnt quite official yet, but they both had some form of romantic interest in each other. What they had didnt have a name, they were more than friends, much more than friends, but were they boyfriend and girlfriend? Sake didnt know.

He felt a chill run down his spine as Gin rested her head on his shoulder. She never used to be anywhere NEAR this close to Sake before. It was so strange how things had changed. He wrapped his arm around he lower back and rested his head on top of hers. This was the kind of relaxation Sake was up to. "And to think I thought you were dead up until about a month ago," Sake really didnt know what to think of it. Perhaps it was good for the village that the Kazekage told them that Sake was dead, but it was cruel. When Sake came back it had messed with alot of people's heads. Alot of people were upset because of this. It was a worthy sacrifice in Sake's mind, anything to protect Gin.

"Honestly, it still shocks me a little to see you next to me. I keep on thinking that you're some sort of figment of my imagination and that you'll suddenly disappear." Funny. Sake was experiencing the same thing with Gin. It was a huge surprise how well Gin had done for herself when Sake came back. He was expecting her to be Jounin at most, but Kazekage? He just couldnt believe it. He kept imagining that he would just wake up and be back in the desert. Gin would be gone, he would be lonely, things would be bad again. OF course he had come to terms with it now, he knew that Gin was most certainly there. He was still Genin, it was a funny relationship, the Kazekage and a Genin dating. Not as funny as a genin at Sake's age.

"Sounds stupid, doesn't it?" Sake knew that the half-hearted laugh that followed was artificial. It really didnt sound silly to Sake at all really, it was a common thing, and he was experiencing the same thing. He began to rub her back slowly and turned to her with a more serious expression on his face. He spoke his words slowly, his deep voice putting emphasis on everything he said. "Not at all Gin, nothing about what you said is stupid. In fact, I still have trouble believing that you are actually here, with me, let alone the fact that you are Kazekage. I just think we should let loose, you know? I think we really are both here, and we should just enjoy it."

Sake stopped rubbing Gin's back and returned to just embracing her around her lower back. Sake was just enjoying the moment, him and Gin together, alone in the hot springs. He was sure that he was in love with her, sure that she was the woman he wanted to marry. It sounded stupid in Sake's head, but at that moment, he was sure that he had his whole life figured out. He was in utter bliss.

Laying against Sake was comfortable and relaxing. Being in his presence really did make the young Kazekage forget about her duty and her rank. With him, she wasn't simply the leader of Sunagakure. She was nothing more than a person, a simple woman who could be happy without having to worry about the fate and safety of an entire village. No, to Sake, she was just Gin; not the Kazekage, not a powerful shinobi, just Gin. She let him wrap an arm around her lower back and lean his head against hers. She sighed happily. It couldn't get much better than this, could it now? She closed her eyes again, deciding to let go of all of her stress and worry completely. She only opened them again when Sake spoke. Gin hadn't really known what to expect from him. She hardly let anyone see this side of her, so she never knew how people would react to how she expressed her emotions. That, and she had almost forgotten how kind Sake could be. Gin's expression went from the fake front she had put on to one of equal seriousness. Sake really did care for her, didn't he?

Shivers ran up the young Kazekage's spine as he rubbed circles against her lower back. His touch was soft but pleasant and comforting. And that was just what Gin needed, really, someone who could make the weight on her back feel as light as a feather. "You're right," She began as she began to run her hand up and down Sake's back, gently caressing his skin. She lingered over the few scars he had on his back from old injuries, the scars that every shinobi was bound to get. Gin had many of them - mementos from old battles. No one could really reach the position of Kage without having several near death experiences. Proof of that was scattered across her body. "We should just enjoy ourselves, shouldn't we?" She said as Sake moved his arms around her, embracing her gently. Gin adjusted herself so that she was now sitting on his lap, facing sideways so that he could still wrap her arms around her lower back with her head still against his shoulder. She kissed Sake's neck lightly before speaking again. "Do you mind if I ask you something?" She began. She would ask her question anyways, regardless of his answer. He was probably willing to answer anything, at his point. If he had any questions, she would do the same. "Are you really in love with me?" She asked, before going on to elaborate and explain why she was asking. "It's just... confusing, really. I don't see why or how anyone could fall in love with me," She said and instantly regretted it.

Gin was showing too much weakness for her own good. She was letting him see how frail she really was and frankly, it scared her. She was afraid of his answer. She quickly removed her hand from his back and wrapped it around the back of his neck to press his lips against hers before he could speak. She kissed him passionately, running one hand down his chest while the other kept his lips firmly against hers. It was enough of a distraction, or so she thought. Something in the back of her head told her that Sake wouldn't let her words go so easily. Nevertheless, she did what she could to shift his attention away from the conversation. She ran her tongue along his lower lip briefly, teasing him to retain his attention. Her hand still lingered over his chest, caressing him lightly.

So far the day was proving to be exactly what Sake had hoped for. Him and Gin sat next to each other, his hand on her lower back, their heads atop one another. They were having a heart to heart conversation, one they hadnt shared since Sake returned, and Gin invited him to the cemetery. Things were so different than before Sake had left. Him and Gin were nothing more than friends in those days, of course he was still madly in love with her, she just didnt know it. They were partners, completing any mission assigned to them. Now they both shared a romantic interest, it wasnt one sided; they were in a bath sat next to each other, and Sake was sure that Gin was the one. Since coming back to Suna, Sake had loved it. Life had reached a whole new level, and the day with Gin was proving to be a good one.

"You're right," The soft touch of Gin's hand going up and down his back made Sake tingle. Being with Gin was unlike being with anybody else. She just had this way of making him feel happy on the saddest of days. Just simply being in her presence made him feel fantastic. Let alone being in a bath next to her while she is rubbing his back. He felt her hand go over one of his more harsh scars. It was one he had gained on that fateful day, when Gin and Sake's squad had both massacred innocent civilians. That was the day Sake's life was flipped on his had. Sake shook his head, he wouldnt let the thought linger in his mind. "We should just enjoy ourselves, shouldn't we?" Sake allowed Gin to move herself into his lap. As she did so he began to slowly circle her lower back again.

"Do you mind if I ask you something?" Sake smiled, he knew he wouldnt even have to bother saying yes. Gin should have known by then that he is willing to answer any of Gin's questions. It was that way, even before he left when they were the best of friends. Sake nodded slightly, Gin had shown the courtesy to ask, the least he could do was nod to let her know it was ok. The kiss on his neck was brilliant. Gin was actively coming onto HIM. It was normally Sake who made all the moves, but Gin was actually showing her affection towards Sake in a physical manner. "[color=white]"Are you really in love with me?"/color] Another question Gin really should have known the answer to by then. The amount of things Sake had gone through for Gin, the things he had gone through for her, she should have known. It was a girl thing to do really, ask if the guy loved her for a little self esteem boost. Sake wasnt about to say no.

"It's just... confusing, really. I don't see why or how anyone could fall in love with me," She must really have been feeling down, the self esteem levels low. She knew that Sake was in love with her, she had to be. The fact that she cared made Sake think that she actually loved him back. He ran his answer through his head, he wondered what he would say to Gin. He would more than likely just say that of course he loved her, or something along those lines. No. It would have to be more meaningful than that. Sake ran his answer through his head a few more times before opening his mouth to speak. Turns out he didnt have time to do that. Before he could even react, Gin's lips were against his.

Gin was a fantastic kisser. The kisses they had shared before were nothing more than extended pecks. Now however, Gin had involved her tongue, running it alone Sake's lower lip. Sake smiled on the inside, almost forgetting that Gin had asked the question, but he didnt let it slip from his mind. Needless to say, he kissed her back. He ran his tongue lightly over the tip of hers before softly nibbling on her lower lip. He let his tongue slide into her mouth, not so deep that he was ramming it down her throat, but not so shallow that he was polishing her gums. His manly instincts kicked in as he let his hands slide down to her ass, lightly holding each cheek in his hands. He brought his right hand off for a few seconds to rub her back, before letting it slide back down to it's resting position.

Gin let Sake run his hands down her body. She enjoyed the feel of his touch against her. It sent a tingling sensation running through her. She briefly wondered how much better is would feel if he was touching her bear skin and smiled into the kiss involuntarily. Gin was somewhat of a pervert, after all. She quickly shoved the thought aside, however, and concentrated on what was currently happening. She granted Sake full entrance to her mouth. Their tongues briefly battles for dominance before she decided to give in and let him take the lead. She would let him decide on how far they would go. She trusted him completely, she always had. When they were still Genin, she relied on him during every mission they went on. She would often put him off and tease him to make him feel like she didn't need him, that she could take care of any battle on her own. That was a lie, and she supposed that he knew that as well she did. Truth be told, she had come to think that she couldn't live without him during those years. That had proven to be true, in a way.

After he had left and after she had been told that he was dead, she spent two whole years mourning him every single day. Maybe it was because of that that she had made so many mistakes along the way. Maybe it was because of that that she had decided to go out with Jurou in the first place. In any case, a sudden wave of guilt washed over Gin as she was reminded that it was her fault in the first place that he had been exiled from Suna.

Gin once again did her best to forget about such feelings of worry and guilt. She faltered for a moment, but was soon brought back by Sake's hands running up and down her back before resting on her ass once again. A soft moan accidentally escaped her lips as the kiss got deeper, more passionate. The young Kazekage blushed. She was slightly embarrassed. Gin wrapped her arms around Sake's lower back, slowly inching her hands towards his ass, teasing him slightly, massaging his back with her fingertips. She ran her tongue against his and let him explore her mouth freely before resting her hands on his ass and squeezing it lightly.

The battle for dominance was tough, at first Gin was leading the kiss, now Sake had wrestled his was into pole position.
