Mission description: The busiest busy work we could get ya. Yep. It's big. It's empty. But even we haven't mapped every inch of the place. Let's get to that before someone else does. Even if it's dull and tiring work, it's very important to our national security.
Mission details: You're going on a camping trip! You might encounter a pack of coyotes, but even they don't hang around such barren wastes much....
All you have to do for this mission is mark landmarks and their distance in relation to either the village or other landmarks; no cartographic skills required!
It was a beautiful night under the guise of the crescent moon, a perfect light for any young traveler in the sand dunes of Sunagakure. Too bad it didn't help this lone Uchiha, cause of those freaking eyes of his. As much as he's adapted to it all, he still can't help but be frustrated that he can't see the beauties of the world anymore. It also didn't help that he was given a mission to map landmarks...even though...you know...HE CANT SEE THE DAMN LANDMARKS! But, he couldn't pass up the chance for some money. Money is money, so no matter how much extra work he was going to have to do this night, he'd do it, cause then he could buy that custom whip sword he was planning on picking up the next day. This was the best motivation he could think for himself, and in all honesty, it worked. It felt good to use such a weapon, and it worked well with his fighting style, allowing him to hit from far away without wasting chakra, and activate Genjutsus through contact.
Well, it wasn't actually as hard as he expected it to be to find something of interest. Not that he knew it was a landmark to note at first, but it was soon that he'd find out. It seemed as though a few coyotes were out and about, sprawling around and resting near a quaint little cave, formed of nature-enforced sandstone, and a puddle of water somewhere inside in which the pups played around in. He knew what they were due to the mission details, and the fact he had heard some of them "talk" to each other. Now, he could have just left it like that, copy the thing down on his somewhat empty map, and went home, as it was a pretty neat thing to know about, considering it could serve as shelter. But that's exactly why he didn't leave; he wanted to camp there for the night.
So, with a genius little idea, he'd immediately activate the Transformation Technique, taking on the looks of their kind, albeit a significantly bigger than normal, to pose as an angry alpha male. He'd run over to them, growling and huffing, essentially threatening their very existence, and boy did they react in kind. They submissively allowed him over, in a spot for him to rest for the night, and once he made it in, he'd end up rolling around a bit, with seemingly no purpose. Then, Lynn would poof out of his disguise. He did this since he now had the scent of those coyotes on his body, making it to where they wouldn't bother him as much, though they would question his existence for a while. Eventually, some of the pups snuggled up to his side, and he gave a light smile, falling asleep in his pile of fluff.
The coyotes were asleep when Lynn awoke, dawn breaking the darkness of dusk, meaning it was time for him to go back to the village. After marking the location on his map, and feeling around a bit to dot more details about it in a notepad, he'd simply make haste, wanting to get out of the desert before it become unbearably hot. Along the way, he'd happen to find an abandoned water pump, which was lucky, as he didn't have anymore water in the canteen the mission provider supplied him with. This would also go down on that charter, before he'd fill up the tank and be on his way once more, wiping the growing sweat on his brow.

Description: Given all the missions ninja are assigned to--battle, intelligence gathering, diversions--this is a priceless ninjutsu. It is typically used to change into people other than oneself, but one also has the ability to change into animals, plants, and even inanimate objects like weapons; however, the object can be no smaller than 1 foot long in at least one dimension. Despite this, this technique has an abundance of uses. The transformation of a master of this technique (which is generally an Academy graduation requirement) makes the user physically and visually the same as the transformed person or object in question, giving the user the exact mass and physical qualities of whatever they transformed into. This is one of the most basic ninjutsu, as such most shinobi know how to perform it. This technique does not give a ninja the abilities or jutsu of a person they transform into, nor can give the user the damaging ability of a weapon (however, this can be used as a bluff). Sensory techniques can easily pick out someone transformed using this jutsu: the user's chakra would be active, as well as the fact that their biological functions and scent are not masked by this jutsu. Costs 5 chakra on activation, and an additional 5 chakra every other post after that.
