The Makin clan are the ones responsible for the Kusagakure being covered in giant mushrooms...around 500 years ago there was a group of families who had the ability to create small mushrooms out out of their chakra, they did this over the years by making a small amount of Doton chakra to create a harbored, and then adding water to facilitate fungal growth, though at start they only used these fungi to make food and medicine for the clan, and never told anyone that they made them with chakra, it wasnt for another 15 years that their secret got out.

Fassi Makin was attacked while delivering a shipment of fungus to a doctor, though Fassi was the Founder of the clan, he was not skilled in Taijutsu nor did he know any jutsu at that time, so he got very scared and released his chakra, creating the clans now signature jutsu...the giant mushroom forest, he created a expanse of mushrooms that attached themselves to every tree and even on the ground within a good distance from himself, it also covered the assailant, sucking the chakra from him and killing him eventually, the man Fassi ran back to the clan HQ and told the clan his discovery, they were shocked at what their fungi could do and began training their young members in the way of combat with them.

Over the years that original use of the Giant Mushroom forest caused the whole country side of the Land of the Grass to become riddled with Mushrooms and Fungi, shaping what we now know as the land of the grass, due to these fungi growing in nature, the clans buisness was all but destroyed, and the familes took to becoming full fledged ninja in service to the village in the Grass.

~Present Day~
The new head of the clan, Shappa Makin has lead the clan to become one of the strongest clans in the Land Of the Grass, now that the clan has given up on the Medical business they have devoted all of their time to their Jutsu and power, Mastering new types of Fungi every day including, Lichen,Mold and even moss , though still they are best at using Mushrooms due to it being their first type of Fungi.

Description: The user focuses a large amount of Kinton chakra in the surrounding area, using the original jutsu that formed the natural mushrooms in the country. The mushrooms that form can be as big as 10m in height and 10m in diameter. They can make 6 mushrooms a post.
If a Mushroom touches a target, the mushroom grows around the target and started to cover their body, on first contact the target loses 35 chakra, and continues to lose 25 chakra per turn of being wrapped by the Mushroom.
The mushrooms can take up to 1 jutsu of an equal rank and  before breaking apart, Or two of a rank lower.
To get out of the mushroom, you require A rank strengh, and it takes a full post to get out.
Once touched by a mushroom any one who touches it is lowered  by 1 tiers as long as they are in the mushroom and it lasts one post after you get out.
The Mushrooms are white with speckles of red.

Description: The user starts to form a Thick green moss on the ground and fires it as a target in the form of a tumbling wave at 40mps, the ''wave'' of Moss when it contacts a target the moss sticks to spots hit and spreads across their entire body (Excluding their Head) The moment they are hit they are drained for 15 chakra, and they are also Paralyzed wherever the moss touches.
On the Second post they are Drained another 10 chakra and by the end of the second post the moss will have died and become useless. The wave of moss is 2 m wide.
This jutsu costs 10 chakra more to use.

Description: The user Creates a Large Forrest Mushroom Cap that surrounds a or a group of targets, the Mushroom cap is double sided, so a person can not dig out of it. Every Post that the target/Targets are in the Dome they are Drained 15 Chakra. The Dome can be destroyed by 1 jutsu of the same rank or 3 of a rank lower, though  the damage to the Mushroom is Regenerated in two posts, so unless they destroy the entire mushroom and escape it will heal all damage to itself eventually.
This jutsu costs 15 chakra more to activate.
