Raishi Kanetsu
A-rank
It was a cloudy day in the Village Hidden by Rocks, and Raishi was utterly enjoying the soothing coolness and almost serene calmness that the cloudy skies brought. As he walked through the crowded streets, he basked in the glory of the cool day as a soothing breeze brushed against his face gently, kissing him lightly as it rushed on to the next unsuspecting villager. These were the type of days that he loved, the cool days that seemed to slow everything down, and quiet the habitual loudness that resonated throughout the village. Best of all, he stayed dry, unlike the usual stickiness and streams of sweat that poured out of his body due to his high body temperature. To some people, it may have been a cold, windy day and he could confirm this by looking at the villagers he passed on the streets. A lot of them wore more layers than usual which suggested that the temperature was colder than they were used to. People who once wore sleeveless tees and shorts, now wore long, baggy garments that engulfed their being. He even saw a child with so many layers on, she resembled a massive ball of yarn. He smiled a radiant smile, looking around him as he headed for the Administration Building. By his standards, this is was a wonderful day.
He was now a few meters from the Administration Building and Raishi began thinking about what he was going to expect from the current page. He had heard a lot of things about him, and was frankly impressed by all the kage's improvements he had made in the village upon entering office. Not only had he generated lethal policies towards crime and illicit activities in the hidden rock, but he had also managed to improve the quality of living in the village as a whole through massive projects such as establishing a grand bazaar and constructing a free school for both shinobi and civilians alike in the village. From what he had heard and seen about the new age, Raishi could confidently say that he knew exactly what he was doing. He was not only a strong mind when it came to the ninja arts, but he was also intelligent in other matters of great significance such as politics and economics. A great leader indeed Raishi thought to himself now entering the building. He had met all three kage before hand ; Kazu, Arashi and Dengen and none of them had made such impressive moves as the current kage. In fact, the previous kage the ones Raishi knew of, either did harm or did nothing at all to the wellbeing of the village. Dungeon had almost started a war with Konoha, a feat caused by his own arrogance. Arashi had died before he even got to do anything. And Kazu had just been in the shadows most of the time. He is the best kage we've had so far he thought to himself confidently, glad that Iwagakure finally had a capable leader.
He walked towards the secretary, a big smile on his face as he talked to her.
"Good day, is Lord Tsuchikage available?"
He looked into her eyes as she nodded happily, pointing in the direction of the the Tsuchikage's office. Raishi thanked her quickly and walked off slowly towards the massive door that signified the office. It was not far from the office that he once again saw an all too familiar symbol on what seemed to be an announcement board of some sorts. The Iwagakure Oracles... he thought to himself as he slowed himself to a stop in front of the board. Was he capable of joining such an elite division? Even though at the moment he was completely mediocre? I need to have more confidence in myself he thought encouragingly as he walked off to the door, the division's symbol etched perfectly in his mind. He approached the door and as he did, his being seemed to shrink more and more. He had never met this kage before unlike all the other previous kage, and he began to dread more and more the decision he made to come here wearing only his casual black pants, black sandals, and a white tank top with hid clan insignia on his back. Perhaps I should have thought to dress more formally.. he said to himself as he knocked on the door to make the kage aware of his presence, and opened it slowly. A surprising nervousness overtook him as he realised he was about to meet Akira Kazako.
