Mission File – Secret Meetings and Hidden Agendas:

Lilac orbs glanced over the document in his hands, perched on the fire escape of a building, though clearly well-hidden from the general public due to the location being within an alleyway. It seemed his work with this organization wasn’t done; the administration office had given him his second of two missions that dealt with the same organization he dealt with a day or two ago – pending how you calculated the time. The current assignment was slightly more difficult than the previous one, for this one required pure stealth, rather than stealth being the more preferential option when tackling the mission. Seiryū’s eyes continued to scan the document which held the basic credentials and information of one individual, a Shi Matsuto. The male was slated to be the second in command of the still unnamed organization; Seiryū personally chose to refer to them as the “Dumb Dogs,” albeit with no one else being aware of the name, until he figured out who they actually were – that depended on him finding out before eliminating them.

Shi Matsuto was listed to be in his late thirties; at thirty-eight. Overall, there wasn’t much he would be worried about when it came to facing the man. While the man was taller than Seiryū with a slightly muscular build, the description of his combat abilities left more to be desired. At best, the man could go to toe-to-toe with a low-quality Tokubetsu Jōnin. Identifying the man may be a bit difficult, seeing as he often was seen wearing a business suit.  Seiryū hadn’t been to the museum often, thus he wasn’t too aware of what kinds of people frequented the establishment, though he’d be easy to spot if Seiryū only found a single man in a suit. The suit and his build could easily give away Shi Matsuto, and Seiryū could only assume the man would try to look inconspicuous, something that Seiryū could easily identify himself with a bloodline he never really wanted. Oh well, at least it had its perks. Shi was driven by money and held a professional demeanour, factors that easily added to the stereotypical businessman trying to make a cash grab.

Seiryū had been over his task a few times, currently going through his last few checks of the documents before he was fully committed to the mission. He was taking it regardless; he just wanted to enter and be prepared as possible before he entered the Mystical Glass Museum. Shi Matsuto was the only known entity, the rest – four of them – he would need to extract from Shi himself. He hoped the man was willing to talk; otherwise this mission would be pointless. Seeing as how it was clearly ordered that not one of them made it out alive, Seiryū required the ability to locate the other four, something that could only be granted by Shi Matsuto himself. Considering all this was being done in broad daylight, with the museum still being packed with people, he’d need to kill them in areas where he couldn’t be detected and he’d need to make sure the dead weren’t found either.

The jonin of Sunagakure no Sato had one of two ways of entering the Mystical Glass Museum; either through the front door or sneaking in. The first would be simpler, yet it would make the process of killing a tad bit harder if the other four had some actual skill compared to Shi. Sneaking in could be a challenge of its own, but it would allow for Seiryū to bring in his weapons as well. Considering individuals weren’t allowed to bring in kunai, senbon, and shuriken in to the Mystical Glass Museum – to reserve the peace – Seiryū would either have between working with those weapons or without. Both were possible, it was just a matter of determining which of the two were more beneficial to the task at hand. Either way, five men were going to die today.

He had made up his mind fairly easily, deciding to take the more direct route of walking in through the front door of the Mystical Glass Museum. The option of sneaking in with his weapons was certainly intriguing, but it forced Seiryū to find an alternative route to enter the building. Walking around with Crota, and his bow and arrows just wasn’t an option, as people could easily see them in plain daylight and raise eyebrows in response to the weapons. Hell, it would even alert his targets to his presence, thus Seiryū easily voided that option. Having a kunai and senbon certainly would have helped him out, but the same really applied. Those weapons would have helped him out briefly, but he could easily do the same with his hands alone, even if he wasn’t a taijutsu expert, Seiryū could hold his own. Given that he needed to assassinate five and the one he needed to extract information from was the weakest, the element of surprise and the snapping of a neck could benefit Seiryū in his mission.

Having initially come prepared for taking this exact route, having not brought any of his actual equipment with him, Seiryū pocketed the sheet of paper that contained the information on Shi Matsuto in to his pair of dark gray jeans. A casual ensemble was less likely to get Seiryū noticed, thus his outfit was rounded out with a lightblue t-shirt and a pair a black and white sneakers. All in all, he’d easily be able to blend in with the rest of the crowd, the only difference being that he was the only individual entering the Mystical Glass Museum with the intention to kill five people. The mission parameters only sounded decent when discussed in terms of the mission, taken out of context the words could easily be utilized against him.

Hopping off the fire escape and landing softly on the paved ground below in the alleyway; Seiryū took no more than a second to gather his bearings before heading off towards the location. Brushing off the back of his pants for and dust that would’ve stuck to it, Seiryū’s mind wandered off to how he would actually hide the bodies. He had been to the museum a couple of months before and was debating which area would help him hide the bodies. Perhaps the area for the current Kazekage would work, seeing as how it had been under construction during his previous visit. It was likely still unfinished and remain that way until the end of her reign.

His eyes roamed through the slightly crowded Mystical Glass Museum. The last time he had been here had been to think, mainly reinforce how insignificant he actually was in the larger picture, that his life was essentially forfeit. Seiryū’s mind hadn’t altered too much from his previous visit, though certain things in his life had changed that made him re-evaluate everything, particularly the weight he held when it came to the world. Regardless of whatever pattern of though Seiryū held, today Seiryū’s mind had to remain on something else entire; find Shi Matsuto, killing him, and then killing another four individuals. Given the climate of Sunagakure no Sato, it wasn’t difficult to actually find the sole occupant of the Mystical Glass Museum who was wearing a black business suit. Added to that was the man’s tall stature, the dark sunglasses he wore, and the equally dark briefcase he was carrying around with him. In all honesty, Shi Matsuto had made this far too easy for Seiryū. The remaining four, while he hoped were equally easy to spot – once his current target spat out their descriptions – he wished they would at least put a little bit more effort in to concealing themselves and blending in with the remaining casual crowd. If they were anything like Shi Matsuto, well… he couldn’t really give this organization any applause for actually trying.

Seiryū waited to corner him, just waiting for Shi to pass by the currently under construction area that was left unguarded – he could assume it was the doing of the administration office to help him out in the slightest. As the man was about to pass by the entrance to the new wing of the Kazekage wing, Seiryū rushed forward, grabbed the man by the back of the collar and took him in to the construction wing. Once he knew they wouldn’t be spotted, Seiryū swung the arm hold the suit jacket forward, letting go of Shi in the process. Briefcase flying away, Seiryū stepped towards Shi, planting his foot on the man’s chest. “Tell me… where are your accomplices? This will be either quick and painless or I can make you suffer.” The panic was visible in the man’s face that Seiryū almost felt sorry for him.

“Please… don’t. I’ll give you money! I have money!”

It seemed his current idle threat wouldn’t be enough to convince Shi to surrender the information. Putting his foot back on solid ground, he watched the man on the ground release a breath of relief. Seiryū crouched down beside him, planting his shin against the man’s throat and putting enough pressure to make his threat more… appealing. “Shi… Matsuto… I’ll ask you this once… if you want to live, tell me everything you about your accomplices. What they look like, their names, anything that’ll tell me who they are.” Seiryū’s eyes held a look of pure disdain to Shi, such that the other man clearly knew that a bribe wouldn’t get him out of this scenario. Perhaps he thought giving up his accomplices would save his life.

“Alright. I’m… meeting up with four other individuals… the first is…”

Shi had eventually given Seiryū everything he needed to know about the other four. Matsuto, in the end, thought poorly for his life had been forfeit from the start.

With the easiest, but most influential, of the five assassination targets out of the picture, Seiryū was solely left to deal with the remaining four individuals, who could go toe-to-toe with most Jounin. It would make things a tad bit more difficult if they happened to be masters of the art of Taijutsu, but from what Shi Matsuto had said about them, they were Bukijutsu practitioners as well. That made Seiryū task simpler, they each wouldn’t have access to their weapons, which made eliminating them a battle of strength, speed, and wits. Seeing as no one would have access to weaponry and Seiryū had the element of surprise, things seemed to be gleaning in favour of the shinobi of Sunagakure no Sato.

Catching sight of two of the remaining for animatedly talking to one another, though Seiryū currently couldn’t pick up their hushed conversation overtop of the remaining crowd of the Mystical Glass Museum bustling. He knew it was them for Shi had mentioned the remaining parties would be carrying briefcases as well, and their appearances matched the description that Shi had also willingly provided him. Two men dressed in civilian army garb and buzzed heads; that was the description Shi had given and the current appearance of the two men. Seiryū knew to wait until the split up or relocated themselves to a location that would help Seiryū take them out of the picture. A minute that was how long Seiryū had to wait for the two identified to Seiryū as Yoshiaga Osaragi and Hachigoro Ebina to move from their current position. His eyes continued watching them move about, trying to figure out where there next destination would happen to be. Seiryū would follow after them, but made sure to blend in with the remaining crowd, trailing behind them by at least ten meters at the very least. When the apparent destination became conclusive to him, he let them enter through the door and followed them in twenty seconds later.

The men’s washroom of the Mystical Glass Museum wasn’t the ideal place that Seiryū wanted to settle this matter, but it would definitely be the easiest once it was clear of the fourth, unneeded occupant who happened to be making his way out just as Seiryū stepped inside. Letting the door shut behind him, Seiryū turned to quickly lock it so there would be no interruptions to the event that was just about to transpire. Hearing the click of the door’s lock, Seiryū looked towards his two unsuspecting targets, noting that they were both currently stationed at the two urinals in the men’s room. Seiryū wouldn’t engage until they were finished with their current task of urinating; he didn’t want to deal with that potential possibility.

Another few seconds passed by, Seiryū hiding in the corner between the door and the first stall, while his two targets began to wash their hands. Once he figured they were finished with their task, Seiryū stepped out his slightly shadowed positon, grabbded the back of one of their heads and smashed it against the countertop. Still holding on to the man, Seiryū swung his arm back, letting the man go who stumbled backwards. The second of the two – Hachigoro – stood still for a moment, perplexed at what was going on before launching in to a tirade of hits in Seiryū’s direction. The first had clipped the side of Seiryū’s facem though the remaining ones he weaved out of the way. His retaliation came between the fourth and fifth punch thrown by Hachigoro, a simple but effective kick to the man’s side, followed by the same leg drawing back to swing at the man’s right knee.

Hearing steps rush in his direction, Seiryū ducked and elbowed the charging man in the sternum. He, Yoshiaga, stumbled backwards once more. Seiryū stepped forward, weaving behind Hachigoro and quickly putting the man in a chokehold. A quick snap of the neck and the second of five were down. Soon, it would be the third. With Yoshiaga trying once more, this time full of rage, charging at him, Seiryū ducked below that man’s wild swing and prepared to do the same to him as he did to Hachigoro. He could hide the two bodies in a stall while he took care of the remaining two.

One dead in the area under construction and two dead bodies propped up against a toilet seat in the men’s washroom stall, Seiryū had left the washroom in order to search for his last two targets for today. The remaining two individuals were a male and a female who’d be posing as a father and daughter. The supposed daughter was roughly around Seiryū’s own age, thus in her early twenties, while the male posing as her father would already have a head full of grey hair. Multiple families came and went to the Mystical Glass Museum, but Seiryū figured it would be easier finding a woman in her early adulthood with an elderly man than two individuals whom were more similar in age. The main family dynamic that Seiryū had seen in this place had been parents with young children and couples of varying ages, not one of that fit the description of a Tatsuzo Kubo and a Risa Tsuchiyama.

Five minutes of idly wandering around the museum and Seiryū had eventually come across the last two targets he was required to eliminate; a man in his late fifties and a fairly average woman in her early twenties. Places to take them out were limited and it was likely he would need to revisit the construction area once more to dispose of them. It was also the most ideal location to kill them as well – better than out in the areas where everyone else could see them.

Like he had done with Shi, though this time lingering near the entrance of the construction site, Seiryū waited for one of them to slightly step ahead before grabbing the other. Risa had moved ahead of Tatsuzo, as if to keep up the appearance of a foreign woman intrigued by the museum’s displays. This had been the moment that Seiryū snuck up behind Tatsuzo, instantly grabbing him in to a chokehold and dragging him around the corner, such that the soon to be disposed body would not be seen by the general public. Seiryū did, however, need for Risa to find the body or at least backtrack to this area so he could remove his last and final target. With the snap of Tatsuzo’s neck, the goon met the fate of the three other’s that came before him and all that remained was Seiryū’s sole female target.

Peering around the corner a minute later was the brunette who Seiryū was charged with killing. Currently, Seiryū was perched on one of the varying platforms that had been placed to aid in the construction of the new wing of the museum. Risa searched around the area before stepping in further. He knew she would find the bodies of Shi and Tatsuzo, Watching her step in, take the expected turn, he was able to see her body stiffen as the foot of Tatsuzo was in her line of sight. Seiryū continued to wait until she stopped before the body, and that happened to be the moment he dropped in behind her, attempting to do the same to her as her allies. The struggle lasted for a minute, Seiryū unable to get a decent grip with the modified vantage point he had – this time he happened to be the taller individual. Finally, the moment came when the last of the five was killed; five kills in a day. The only decent part of this mission came from the fact he wasn’t on clean-up duty, which would be taken care by a different team. With the mission now completed, Seiryū sought out to report the completion of the mission, so the bodies could be removed quickly.
