He didn't know what to do now, really. Dakuman had handed over most of his stuff then released him before vanishing into the woods at the edge of the country. It was so strange, he was still trying to figure out what the hell was going on really. He kept expecting the male to appear at random and shove a blade into his back or something; it wasn't like he hadn't shown that he had a ridiculous amount of coin on him. Not that he looked like much of a target at the moment, he was dressed down as far as he ever allowed himself, in a very low quality solid colored robe that was so old fashioned that it was obviously resold. He looked to be dirt poor, and it was enough. He was purchasing small, very cheap items; bags of rice and dried beans, small amounts of dried jerky and fruits that would last forever. It was a ploy, he was plying for information from the lower class merchants that had ears on the dark world behind the veil of richness that Konoha covered itself it. He was looking for information on Dakuman's whereabouts, trying to make sure that the male was holding to his word. Somehow, he believed that he was, but years of fear and paranoia made it impossible for him not to double check anyway.

And maybe he was still looking for Samael; in some small part of him that wasn't afraid to touch that ball of pain and confusion.

Mostly though, he needed to focus on something else. A new project, a mission, something. He hadn't gotten new orders from the local clan headquarters, so it seemed he was free to spend his time as he wanted for the moment. That meant a lot of investigating, picking up new contacts, and trying to divulge himself of this extra equipment. Somehow. He could just find a sealing shop and have it stored, but meh. He'd see what he could get for it; maybe he could trade for a new tanto, or a better fan. Something.

Market day. Certain items were required for purchase to ensure his future. The young man had his eyes on certain specialist groups within the village of Konoha, namely the Anbu Corps and Sword Saints division. First off, a weapon was very much required; something that allowed for covert usage. A small knife that was able to be hidden away easily when not in use; a collapsable sword or spike. Something or the other.

And so, through the stalls of the market he went, speaking to vendors and weighing out his options. There were plenty to go through, and each was more interesting than the last. Giant curved scimitars, grand jians and elegant katana were abound in the market stalls. He was highly trained in the art of Kenjutsu and Kyuujutsu, but also knew how to pick up just about any strange weapon and use it properly. He was a fan of swift, silent attacks, he figured he would need something compact and lightweight that could still get the job done. Something that could be hidden inside of his clothing, no matter what he happened to be wearing at the time.

Speaking of his clothing, the male was dressed differently today as a departure from his typical style of dress; today, he was clothed in a long-sleeved black trench coat with slit sleeves and red designs and a white symbol on the left side. His trench coat was red on the inside with red flame-like accents at the bottom and a large emblem on the back, with a white tulip design covered by a red rose design. His lower body was clothed in long black pants and black shoes that are red on the bottom, and black gloves with red emblems on their fore hand, appearing to be a variant of the Greek letter Ω (Omega), the last letter in the Greek alphabet. Not quite something that a person would wear while out buying weapons, but it would do for the moment...

It was then that something, or rather someone, caught his eye. A bit further down the right next to the fruit stand; a person dressed strangely for this time of year in Konoha. Dulled robes and the like; were they a merchant from a distant land? The male looked about, not seeing anything of interest so far, so he decided to venture closer. What did he have to lose? He was simply curious; maybe this persona was a merchant with exotic wares. Maybe, Tre would get lucky and find something he needed or wanted.

Suddenly, person with purpose approaching. Joy. He had the periphery vision to see that someone was coming directly toward him; not hostile, no, but with purpose that spoke of an interaction coming on. Just... joy. This one didn't seem like the type to be a merchant or craftsmen, in so much as to be a master of anything but death and destruction; Haruka could almost smell the chakra off this man. His otherworldly senses gave him almost the ability to sense chakra; not quiet, but that gentle tingle in his scar...

Chakra wasn't entirely of this world, he was sure of that.

Without drawing attention to himself, he allowed his body to shift in a way that seemed entirely natural and unconcerned; the hint of weight shifting, done as if to adjust his balance from a long walk; the barest of movement in his arms that would allow him to reach his hidden weapons far more easily, played as a gentle resettling of his robe around his shoulders and arms. Normal, idle movements; mastered by the boy that was an actor first and foremost, no matter how much he wished he was a scholar that had risen above his status as less than dirt under foot.

Or hell, maybe this man that was approaching though him a traveling merchant. He could pass as one; his clothing was fairly common for merchants from small, wayside villages come to the city and not having had time to set up a shop or find a room for the night. Most traveled in earthen tones and muted colors of fabrics that where solid and strong enough to last the long journey. He should play on that; maybe unload some of the more generic gear that Dakuman had given him. He didn't need it, so might as well get a use for it. Maybe he'd make enough for lunch...
