Daiko wakes up and sighs. He had a dream that he had set off and made it to a new place that wasn't cold, but that just wasn't the case. He wakes up shivering and wet, and gets up and walks over to the water. Walking on it, he goes straight forward and doesn't look back. He just keeps monotoniously walking to the rythm in his mind, his wet clothes and cold body adding to the misery of this current moment. He was only half awake and felt like killing something, but he knew he couldn't kill anything on the water. Off in the distance he sees what looks like a ship coming his way. He smiles, and starts to run towards it with a grin creeping on his face. Pulling out a kunai, he jumps on the side and walks up. It was a pirate ship. He could tell because of the skull and crossbones on the flag. Sneaking into one of the back rooms, he decides to just chill for a moment. There were a bunch of barrels around him and he decided that it would be best to hide as a barrel rather than inside of one.

Using his transformation technique he just chills there as a barrel while some rough looking guy comes in with a hammer and a nail. He nails into one of the barrels, causing a brown fluid to start pouring out. He holds it to his lips and shakes for a second, bringing it outside and whooping and hollering. The man came back an hour or so later, stumbling. He grabbed another barrel, and headbutted it, cracking it open. He then took a swig and took it out, followed by more whooping and hollering for the next few hours. The man then came in, and Daiko noticed that there were no more barrels other than him. Blinking, he sees the man try to headbutt him, but Daiko's barrel form turns to water in the part where the man's head connected, causing him to slam his head on the ground and knock himself out. Trying not to laugh, Daiko just chills there as a barrel. He hears some man screaming outside about how they hit land, then he heard a loud thump and cracks on the deck. Well, he learned why you shouldn't stand too high on a crows nest.

Running off of the deck of this ship, he jumps off the side and lands on the shore. Running into the forest, he keeps going straight, hoping that he runs into something. The weather wasn't too bad here and the trees were a nice touch. Going over to a spring, Daiko drinks it and sees that it is very fresh. Continuing to walk, he sees a variety of forest creatures that are surprisingly large. He decided that he didn't want to mess with them today. Continuing his monotonous pace, he looks around for any notable landmarks that could help him out. There were just a bunch of trees everywhere, and it seemed to be endless. He wasn't quite sure whether or not this was better than where he had come from, but this is where he decided he'd stay for a bit. He needed to get some training in, and maybe do a job and get some ryo. Cracking his knuckles, he sees a huge set of gates with "Konohagakure no Sato" written at the top in big letters. Well, it looks like this is where he was going to be staying. Maybe they had houses around here. If not, he was sure he could sleep outside without being in too much harm.
