- Mission name: Leaky Intelligence
Mission rank: A
Objective: Infiltrate and Recover
Location: Endless Dunes (Suna Wilderness)
Reward: 500 ryo
Mission description: Some files on Sunagakure spies has fallen into the wrong hands. There is a compound home to a rather bothersome gang that supposedly has a black list of a large number of undercover Suna nin and they are attempting to ransom it to other villages. Infiltrate the compound and recover the documents throughout whatever means necessary. Use of force is permitted at your discretion.
Mission details: The compound you are infiltrating will be found out in the desert located in a crater of a large sand mound, giving it a degree of natural protection. It's heavily guarded with watchtowers and spotlights and random patrols throughout the compound. All in all there will be about 50 guards and patrolmen all with C-3 stats and carrying either C rank katana or C rank Bows with arrows for ammunition.
Within the compound you will find the file in full detail with the listing of every Suna nin spy in every foreign country, along with the details of their mission and everything else involved in their mission. Highly Classified information. You will also discover that copies of this file were made and a meeting between several potential buyers (can either overhear it or discover a note, etc... up to you). Once that is found, take the file(s) you find and then report back along with the meeting details you find.
When he first received the mission dossier – his next mission in a list that would grow vastly over time – Seiryū knew the best way about tackling the mission was to go in the dead of night. Any idiot would be able to figure that much out, considering the task at hand required whoever was taking the mission to infiltrate a compound and secure documents that were of the utmost importance. Going in guns firing and during daylight hours just screamed having a tough time and allowing the gang to extract the documents before Seiryū even had a chance to locate the building in which they would be keeping such records. The difficult task wasn’t exactly locating the tent itself, but rather finding a way of silently getting to it, grabbing the documents, and leaving the vicinity without being spotted at all. Knowing that killing of some of the gang members was inevitable, he’d have to make sure that things would remain relatively quiet, such that he could continue onward without being caught. To make the overall task even simpler, Seiryū knew that leaving would have to be just as quiet as his entrance, maybe a bit more difficult if the gang members caught on to a new presence in their makeshift camp.
With the evening slowly rolling over to the night, the sun’s presence becoming a non-factor for Seiryū’s mission, the silver-haired shinobi of Sunagakure no Sato began making his way up the hill of sand that overlooked the crater in which the rogue gang had set up their base of operations. The crater was large enough for the gang to house the majority of their forces, the number of which Seiryū was currently unsure of. As he neared the top of the hill, Seiryū crouched and slowed his pace down. Currently, he held no desire to make his way down the crater and begin his endless search of the documents he needed to recover. Rather, he’d take his time scouting out the scene and gathering a rough estimate of the number of enemies he would be dealing with. He highly doubted he possessed enough arrows to take them all down, but he’d be able to reuse his projectiles by recovering them; it was inevitable as he would need to hide any bodies and in the process be able to reacquire his arrows. The journey upward didn’t take too long and he didn’t have to worry about enemies yet, seeing as how Seiryū hadn’t climbed up the side where the gang had carved out an entrance.
The short fifteen second journey upward allowed Seiryū to see over the apex of the crater, Seiryū’s purple orbs now being witness to the dimly illuminated camp in the Endless Dunes of Suna’s wilderness. The amount of tents in the area amounted to sixteen, meaning that Seiryū needed to filter out tents that likely wouldn’t have the documents. One of them had to stand out; likely the ones near the center would contain the dossier Seiryū needed to acquire. The ones further out on the perimeter were unlikely; more so the ones closest to the entrance. In all honesty, the ones Seiryū had ruled out could just as easily contain the list. Thus, the only way he would get the necessary information was to extract it from one of the gang members; Crota likely could help him convince someone to speak.
