1 Kill or Capture the Escaped Gorilla [C-Rank Repeatable, Atsuya and Reiko] Wed Jul 06, 2016 2:16 am
Hyuga Reiko
D-rank
Usually, Reiko tended to like animals. In fact, she loved animals, with the exception of some creepier bugs. Slugs, for example, she preferred to stay away from. On the other hand, there were some animals she never really expected to meet. A gorilla was one of them. So when she was called in to deal with a runaway gorilla, she was nothing less than dumbstruck. Not only that, but she was assigned a partner in catching the gorilla, so she could only assume that this was a pretty strong gorilla. At least it was another Hyuga. Between the two of them, they should be able to keep a close focus on the gorilla, enough to hopefully catch it. She didn't want to kill it unless that was the absolute last resort. It as a living creature just as she was, after all. However, she knew that if it came to the point that it was killing other living creatures, affecting the environment and possible safety of the village, she would have to aid in putting it down. That was something she could come to terms with.
She got to the meeting place, that being a big tree nearby the small forest, and stopped. Reiko shifted from foot to foot, glancing around the area in a quick 360. She didn't see any danger, though she could just hear the gorilla. It was far off, only definable by the crashing noises it made every so often, coupled with an occasional roar.
Reiko found herself picking at her sash, shifting from foot to foot. She glanced up at the trees around her, and then, just to be safe, climbed up to a branch on the closest tree. There she sat, kicking her legs out beneath her. At least, until she heard a squeal of a dying animal. Reiko was back on her feet within moments, looking down worriedly to see if Atsuya had arrived yet. She didn't like sitting, and this took the cake when it came to something she didn't like sitting through. So, she stopped sitting. Tightening her belt a bit, she shot off, heading in the direction of the crashing as fast as jumping from tree to tree could carry her.
She found it not all that far away, crashing through the trees like it owned the place. Reiko narrowed her eyes, crouching down on the branch, one hand coming down to balance herself. Capture, but not kill. So, considering they didn't have a gigantic cage, knock it out or kill it. She didn't have many techniques that would stop movement unless she counted Hiraishin. But that as less for hindering movement and more for freeing her own. Besides, it probably wouldn't work well in this situation.
The gorilla didn't seem to notice her yet, so she began hopping branches once more, slowly making her way to the ground. Once there, she crept after it, partially disguised from the thing by its own noise. If she wanted to catch this thing, she needed to disable it. Juuken seemed like a good bet, she'd just have to make sure not to hit anything vital. Best bet would be to take out it's arms and legs. Quickly, she began her signs, crouching low in hopes the gorilla wouldn't see her through the brush. Horse, Tiger, Boar, Hare, Rat, Horse... all the way on until the Ram.
"Byakuan!" she shouted, jumping forward.
