The Sakkaku Clan is one of the many clans which have spread across the lands of the ninja world over the centuries, side-notes on the parchment of history, though they had widely avoided many of the more popular ninja villages until recent times. Living primarily in countries such those of Stone, Steel, Sound, Waterfalls, Rain, Grass and Ogres, their moderate population has ultimately led them into beginning to find their way back into the common ninja world. Bringing their strange and almost mystical arts back into the lime-light, having been lost for generations.
While within the nations of other lands, Sakkaku Clan members accomplished a great many things, from being torturers and interrogators, to humble farmers, to samurai, merchants and even royalty. Standing widely as characters to the side of greatness but never truly in the spotlight of legend, the success of the clan comes from the Sakkaku Clan's prestige as not only fighters, but as powerful illusionists who were able to work their arts and raise to be competitive in all of their endeavors.
One particular illusion of theirs came in handy over the ages to the point that it became a staple of the clan, using chakra to enhance the moisture of their bodies, allowing it to pass through their skin as a natural fume which could trigger various potent illusions be it on contact, or even more effective, upon the inhalation of the intended targets.
Kekkei Genkai Description:
The Members of the Sakku Clan have little true power to their name other than their skill as all around ninja and potent illusionists. The one iota of power to their name stems from the unique and powerful Hiden technique known as the 'Deep-Dreaming Illusion Fume Techniques' a branch of techniques in which the members of the clan are able to flow Genjutsu chakra into any water source which, on contact transforms the water into a deep obscuring mist as a catalyst for their Genjutsu. The effects of 'Deep Dreaming Illusion Fumes' taking effect on inhalation, while some, much more virulent, even take hold with skin contact with the mist-like fume.
Deep Dreaming Illusion Fume: All Deep Dreaming Illusion Fume techniques are Suiton techniques which can on contact, in addition to their printed effect, evaporate liquid suiton techniques of one rank lower without harming the user. Their range and effect radius are not effected by the rank of the technique they use as the source of the technique.
- Diverse Lineage: Due to the vast array of histories clan members have, Sakkaku clan members do not suffer from the physical negatives of other Genjutsu clans and are just as apt in almost all other specializations. Sakkaku Clan members begin with +2 tiers to their reaction speed due to this genealogy and well rounded training.
- Genjutsu Specialists:Members of the Sakkaku Clan often train their genjutsu as their coup de graces. Though they are balanced ninja, genjutsu techniques require 10% less word-count to train.
Drawbacks:
- Jack of All Trades: Members of the Sakkaku clan, due to their more balanced nature, begin with their primary specialization and element beginning at C rank, as opposed to S rank.
- Specialty Scions: Having a deeper focus in their specializations as opposed to their elements, Sakkaku Clan members must have the Hesitant Element negative characteristic without balancing it with an additional positive.
- Master of None: Never known as heroes, only those who supported them, the Sakkaku clan to date have not been icons of the ninja world, having few powerful members or those famed for their skill. Thus, begin with -10 to their chakra pool.
- Glass Jaw: Members of the Sakkaku clan are used to dealing with problems quickly and efficiently, while not used to being hit in combat due to their Genjutsu and Stealth reliance. Members of the Sakkaku clan have -1 tier to their Endurance stat.

Description: The Deep Dreaming Illusion Fume is a technique where the user comes into contact with a liquid body, be it the moisture of their own skin, natural water, or a suiton technique a rank lower than the activation of this technique, instantly vaporizing it into a thick and heavy mist which expands rapidly at 10mp/s. The Mist, much like that of the hidden mist technique, cannot be seen through with chakra sensory techniques, but beings within it can be seen as blurred shadows and silhouettes if within 10m of each other, making it not obscure vision entirely. The offensive capabilities vary with rank, triggering upon inhalation of the technique, but can be maintained once afflicted at any distance:- D Rank: Causes the senses of the opponent to dim, having no effect on their statistics, but after 2 posts the jutsu makes it impossible to discern the identity of those within the mist. While being able to see them perfectly fine, figures with their features obscured blur into complete anonymity. (Radii: 4m)
- C Rank: Causes the senses of the opponent to dim, reducing their perception by -1 tier, but after 2 posts the jutsu, much like the previous rank, makes it impossible to discern the identity of those within the mist. While being able to 'see' them perfectly fine as normal, figures with their features obscured blur into complete anonymity. At this rank, the victims feels a sensation of dizziness, much like vertigo (Causing the -1). (Radii: 8m)
- B Rank: Causes the senses of the opponent to dim, reducing their perception by -1 tier as they have an onset of vertigo and begin to become drowsy, but after 2 posts this effect reaches its apex, leading into a 1 turn stun should it not be cleansed before-hand where the victim becomes completely disoriented, much like they're sleep-walking, as their grip on reality flickers for a moment, causing any manner of visual hallucinations during the time they're stunned.(Radii: 15m)
- A Rank: Causes the senses of the opponent to dim acting much like vertigo, reducing their perception by -1 tier, increasing to -2 tiers on the second turn the victim is afflicted as they become drowsy. During the 3rd post this effect reaches its apex, leading into a 1 turn stun should it not be cleansed before-hand where the victim becomes completely disoriented, much like they're sleep-walking, as their grip on reality flickers for some time, causing any manner of visual hallucinations during the time they're stunned. After 5 posts without cleansing, victims of this genjutsu slowly feint into a deep natural sleep, which can be awoken from via any amount of external damage or anything that would normally awaken them. (Radii: 30m)
- S Rank: Causes the senses of the opponent to dim, reducing their perception by -1 tier. During the 2nd post this effect reaches its apex as the victims world view distorts and warps gradually throwing them into a deep sleep which is fully active at the beginning of the 3rd post. This sleep is like death, and lasts 2 posts, and can only be woken from by B rank damage from a basic strike / C rank jutsu or higher. After 2 posts, the sleep becomes natural, allowing the character to be awoken by anything that would normally awaken them (Radii: 50m)

Allowing them to move at +5mp/s than they normally could and create 1m shock-waves with their basic attacks extending their effective range at speeds of 20mp/s. After being maintained for more than 3 posts, continued activation causes the user to suffer hair-line stress fractures in their lower shins and fore-arms from the raw and reckless pressure this jutsu causes.

Upon impact the orb 'pops' into a ground hugging mist that expands 30m in every direction at the same speed. Much like the Hidden Mist technique, the mist conjured is almost impossible to see through, and due to it being laced with the users chakra, it blinds chakra viewing techniques and doujutsu. Should the mist be come into contact with by an another ninja (other than the user.) they receive -1 to their perception, which decays into a 1 turn stun on the second turn if this jutsu's effects are not removed, in which the victim appears to be lucid dreaming or sleep walking in a dazed state due to the genjutsu warping their perception of the world into complete sensory chaos and obscurity.
The pool of mist lingers for the duration of the jutsu.
