Night Patrol:

Although the exams had passed he might be seen as chuunin to spectators and fans from the event, however his status had yet to be made official as well as several events within the exams being altered or hidden for security reasons. Thus he entered this mission still classified as a genin and to be honest he had not yet attained the strength required to become a chuunin as of yet, but he was prepared as he joined the squad he saw a few strange characters and so began his night time adventure with the Kumogakure Patrol Squad.

He joined up  with the group as they each introduced themselves as he began to take note.

"hey, I am Sora a ninjutsu specialist" as the boy got interrupted by a taller nice looking teen girl. "What he means is he knows ninjutsu and is only a genin, I am Riku his chuunin team leader" as the boy pouted at being made a fool out of. "I am Takamaru, I will be leading this team since I am the only Jounin here and those three quiet one's over there are the chuunin in training Radi, Radu and Rade". The man looked at the small boy and then spoke before he could even say a word. "Congratulations on the exams Elin, I am sure your promotion will be coming soon so be patient, now remember what ever you do just report back to the village if something happens. Do not try to be a hero, you got that?" as the small boy nodded after the tension and pressure of the exams returned he felt a bit overwhelmed and still could not believe he won

The introductions were out of the way as they scattered slightly but remained grouped as they ran along the borders of Kumogakure no Kuni. Travelling at speeds of roughly five meters per second due to the fact that out running genin would make the patrol pointless and that staying in a group was safer for this particular type of patrol. As they ran the small boy just wondered if things would always be this peaceful as he looked around he noticed a bunch of wolves roaming around near the borders as he raised his hand for them to stop the jounin looked to him. "What is it, Elin?" as he pointed silently to the wolves the man laughed just a bit and then spoke. "Those are just wolves that are checking out the area, they normally come around here to eat unsuspecting travellers or animals that wonder near to here, though keeping tabs on their locations is useful so good job, but we have to keep going the patrol is not over yet."

He rubbed the hair of the little boy who won the exams and grinned while doing so before going again, the other boy was a bit jealous while the girl just bonked him once on the head then set off. The other three who were together remained silent as if they did not even care as long as the mission was completed.

As the hour became late they met up with another group as Elin stopped as the two jounin seemed to have encrypted their speech as they spoke before finishing up he looked back to his group. "Okay since Elin is the only one who spotted anything tonight he will go report the mission. As for you three Chuunin we have business elsewhere. Riku you and your little brother need to go home now, and little Elin good job now get going and report your findings.

As the boy walked back making his way to the mission office he handed in his report which covered the wolves generally moving close near the eastern wall and a few drunks they had also spotted and dispersed who had been hanging around near the walls. Other than that it should be expected from a D-rank mission. It was a safe mission and he had a some what peaceful day.
