On a dreadful and eerie night, with a slumbering moon that was barely clinging on that pitch-black sky, the raven-haired man was preparing himself to depart within a risky mission which could lead towards his death if the man were to mess things up. Without any more thoughts given within this matter, the young Uchiha headed towards the desk to pick up the instructions once more for this particular mission. And so, he relocated himself there with the help of a couple of heavy footsteps which rattled across the room as each footstep collided against the wooden floor, and once the young man found himself there, the dossier was opened up once more beneath those dull and ebony eyes.

You have been granted permission to take upon this mission, Whiskers. Make sure that you do not get spotted at all by the missing-nin located at the Black Market, if you do, then evacuate immediately. If that is somehow not possible, then the only option left is death, since we cannot afford having them interrogate you.

The Mission’s Objective: Infiltrate the Black Market Syndicate in order to destroy up the list which on which they keep up their bounties, also any information that leads to it should be taken cared of as well.

After the files were consulted for the last and final time, the raven-haired man arranged all of the weapons back inside their sockets before placing on that eerie and porcelain mask, covering up those beautiful features which could be found upon that chiseled face. One of the ANBU main objective and rules was to keep their identity as secret when they were being sent out for various tasks, since their jobs are usually unorthodox and may attract different kind of people on their tails, and not only that, their families could become targets as well. Not only this, but they were also given a code name, and the one which this particular person went by was known as Whiskers, a name which the man grew found of in the first few days.
As time passed on, Tenzō was been given more and more missions, since the man did not stagnate as an ANBU, and thus, with each mission completed the man was becoming more proficient when it came towards infiltration tasks, or assassinations; tracking was easy for the man, it was all mostly due to those keen eyes which offered the man the ability to see chakra amongst other things that could be useful in battle. There was no doubt that the young man was developing at an alarming rate, one which could be considered terrifying; however, the growth wasn’t really that significant for now, since his powers were still pale when placed against other.

With everything set in place, Whiskers departed from the ANBU’s locker room before storming through Konohagakure, leaving those small particles of dust spun around it place behind each footstep that was taken. Who knows how much time this operation might take, and leaving with the night still at its fullest was probably the best idea, since the shadows were known to be a good spot for hiding and it will make the Uchiha’s job a lot more easier, even though it was quite difficult to begin with. And within a couple of seconds, the towering gates of Konohagakure were left behind as the man kept dashing further inside the wilderness, heading towards the location which was indicated upon the presentation of the mission.
The location of the base was known by Konohagakure, due to the reconnaissance team that was place to watch over that place a few days ago; the Hyūga clan members were known to be proficient within this field, and their job was done successfully without getting spotted. Gathering up information before sending out shinobi in high and risky missions was something that was done, since every Hidden Village could not afford loosing up their people. Training them was hard enough and a lengthy process which took years, and not only that, since usually in missions such as these the people who were sent considered veterans within the village’s ranking system.

Time passed on, and after a couple of good minutes, twenty more specifically, the Uchiha managed to relocate himself at a distance of 100 meters away from the base that was needed to be infiltrated, and everything as like the description within the dossier. The compound was being surrounded by a large number of henchmen at least ten were outside and at the gates, while the other twenty were lurking behind those walls. And those were the least that could be a problem, since there were also missing-nin that were moving constantly throughout the courtyard; however, the raven-haired man was lucky because some of them were actually sleeping in this particular night.
Before even thinking of infiltrating that compound, a quick scour was give around the whole vicinity of those walls, to observe and concluded from which kind of position should the penetration begin, obviously the one with the lesser amount of people on the side. While scouting the surrounding area, the young raven-haired man let those dull and ebony eyes turn slowly within the three tomoe Sharingan in order for him to have a better understanding of what was going on. The area was checked twice, and after that considering observation the young ANBU was capable of concluding that the best way to infiltrate the base from the North East entrance, since there were only two guards there, and no one was visible in a range of less than ten meters.

One of those two guards peered at his right for a couple of seconds, and in that moment, Whiskers came in rushing whilst throwing his dagger against the man’s throat, slicing it off along with the man’s ability to talk. Although that was not all, since the young man pursed the second target in the meanwhile, and once it was reached those scrawny fingers sealed up the lips of the other guard, making sure that he wound scream before wrapping that left arm around the man’s neck, constricting it like a snake as he began to choke the life out of him. The guard’s face was slowly turning red as a tomato and within moments that heartbeat began racing out, only for a few more seconds since the man felt unconscious, breathless before that neck was snapped afterwards, like a twig.
There was no room for errors, and it was better to now that a person was without a doubt dead than to risk the opportunity of being caught. Once both guards were taken out, the Uchiha retrieved back his dagger before placing it back to its place, dragging both bodies as well towards a nearby bush, in which they were left there. It was better to have them both removed, in case a patrolling guard would decide to pass by and witness the body, the blood was a bit hard to be spotted due to the fact that it was quite dark outside.

After both of those bodies were dragged inside the bushes, Tenzō opened up the gates quietly before breaching inside the compound, spotting immediately a couple of crates nearby to which the man began running against. Once the man relocated against themselves, he quickly crouched and used their height to hide behind them, since there was a missing-nin that was heading towards this way. The footsteps were getting closer, and the Uchiha remained hidden there as the missing-nin apparently went inside one of the tents that were located nearby, passing by the ANBU without really acknowledging that stealthy presence of his.
Once the missing-nin was out of range, Whiskers began running in a slightly bent position whilst keeping that head of his down in order to not drag any kind of attention. With a couple of cat-like footsteps, the young man managed to enter the first building which was indicated on the assignment files, and inside of it there were two guards and three missing-nins that were sleeping. After entering the building, the Uchiha slithered his way towards a room which apparently had a few documents which were standing upon a desk, and so, the scouring for the right ones had now began.

Paper after paper was taken beneath those crimson orbs which moved from a side to another in order to search for any kind of indication that will point out towards the objective of this particular mission; however, after a minute or two, the young raven-haired man had stopped the search. There was no time to waste on this dreadful and consuming process, so the ANBU decided to take on a different approach in order to seek out the answers. As such, with a couple of silent and careful footsteps, Tenzō relocated himself outside the building in order to seek out a lonely guard which was spotted after within just a few moments.
Once again, those scrawny fingers had the chance of covering up another mouth once the Uchiha lashed at the person, and with the blade within the other hand, Tenzō brought it closer towards the man’s neck, resting it on that bare flesh. “Keep quiet, or you’ll die. Now, point me towards the building in which I can find documents related towards the bounty list.” were the muffled words which collided against the porcelain mask, whispered against the guard’s ears since that ANBU mask was quite up in the man’s face, close.

The guard slowly began shivering, there wasn’t that much to do when a person held a cold blade just against your skin, especially one the was covered in the blood of the earlier victims which had the pleasure of seeing it. Without further ado, the man looked up with those brown eyes against the direction of a building, suggesting that that was the one in which the ANBU could find the documents; it was probably not a lie, since that building was one of the three that Whiskers was sent to investigate, and with that information now spoken this person was now rendered useless.
No more time was wasted, and the Uchiha quickly shoved that blade inside the man’s throat, killing him instantly as the blood gushed out against that white and porcelain mask, painting it with that vivid red color. Once every ounce of life was taken away from the guard, Tenzō embraced that lifeless husk in order to drag it and place it somewhere behind a building, to hide it at least for the time being in which the man was capable of completing the mission. With that part of the job out of the way, Whiskers was now capable of continuing on with the rest of the assignment, and onwards the man left for the building which was indicated earlier.

Without any occurrences on the way, the ANBU relocated himself against the desk on which the documents related towards the bounty list, as long with the list itself were located. As such, the man verified to see if those were actually the ones that he was looking for, and with a couple of minutes passing by it was finally concluded that those were the ones. However, things didn’t went so smoothly since a couple of footsteps could be heard coming down from the hallway, apparently a group of two missing-nin were heading towards this place. It was quite risky to be caught within such a place, considering that the way out of the building was a bit far from this room.
There was no time to think, and the Uchiha left all those documents behind in order to take cover in a nearby closet, opening it up before shoving himself within so that his presence may not be that easy to discern. Once those two missing-nin were along this room, one of them peeked inside since he thought there was a noise made, but, the man saw nothing and continued along the hallway while heading towards the resting rooms. It was night, and most of the people were sleeping while the others were heading towards bed; the black market was usually full with activities in the day.

After a minute or two, when both of those individuals were no longer nearby the room, the young ANBU left the closet before closing both of those wooden doors behind, in order to make his way back towards the desk. With everything cleared, Tenzō began destroying the bounty list as well with each document and piece of paper that had anything related to it, everything had to be done carefully in order to ensure that the black market would sustain a difficult blow against their plans. All of this procedure took something between ten to twenty minutes, and after it was done the Uchiha rushed outside the room, just so that hey halt around the corridor and peek with those crimson eyes for any kind of moving chakra.
It was almost pitch-black on the corridor itself, since there were only two or three lights flickering around it, giving a shape to it, at least to some degree and extent. Nonetheless, this was not the time to remain here and admiring the beauties of this place, and so, the ANBU began walking further down the hallway to make his way outside. In spite of all of this, a few things were changed from the last time; apparently, a guard was now appointed at the exit, and the angle at which he was standing was a bit hard to be taken care of, because the man had two missing-nin with him.

It was troublesome, since all of those three individuals began throwing dices against the ground, playing some kind of game which involved gambling and money; there was no doubt that this was going to take ages, and the Uchiha had no time to linger inside the building. As such, the man began wavering a couple of hand seals consecutively before whispering a few words in order to use up a sensory technique which the man learned as an ANBU, having a better understanding if the rooms were empty or clear was something which needed to be found out.
With that technique now in use, the ANBU managed to find out which of the nearby rooms were empty, and with a quick scour there was one found which had what the man was looking for, a window to escape this god forsaken place. After searching through three rooms, one was found which had a window and without further ado, the young man walked silently towards it before opening it up, placing the right leg first outside while following up with the other. Finally, the building was left behind and now the only thing left was escape this compound alive and make the journey back to Konohagakure, something which doesn’t sounds so easy to begin with.

While using the crates and buildings as cover, Whiskers began making his way between them to slowly return back towards the place from which the man entered, and within a couple of minutes the young man was capable of accomplishing such a feat. It was difficult considering approximately half of the people which were lingering in this compound were still awake; however, the man had the opportunity of learning from one of the bests ANBU, if not the best from within Konohagakure, known as Lamya, the ANBU captain. Without wasting any more time here, that door knob was twisted and the way for the Uchiha was now finally cleared.
“Finally, I can end this dreadful day... no more... killing.” the Uchiha murmured beneath that porcelain mask which had lost its whiteness due to the amount of blood that was now stained upon it. Those jet-black clothes were also stained with numerous stains of blood, since the ANBU was forced to carry a lot of bodies out of the way, using chakra to get rid of them was not the best thing to do, since the man needed it in case things were going to get bad. Everything was predictable, but only to a certain amount of extent, things could always turn against you and especially when that is not expected.

Now that the mission was finally completed, there was no more reason for the Uchiha to remain lingering a place such as this, and swiftly the man ran towards the forest, leaving behind the horrific compound and wishing there was no longer a reason to bring him there. Between the dense forests which surrounded Konohagakure, Tenzō was now making his way back to the village in order to report back that the mission was accomplished and also leave behind a detailed report with the all occurrences that happened while the man was there. It was a normal procedure which needed to be completed after each mission, since information that the man had gathered over this experience could be proven useful within the nearby future.
After a long travel, the Uchiha finally managed to arrive back at the Hidden Leaf Village, the man was quite exhausted but that did not stop him from going back at the ANBU headquarters in order to close up the assignment. Despite the fact that the sweat was clearly dropping from the man, he continued on finishing up those papers before leaving the building; however, not without picking up the check that was meant as a reward for this particular mission. Without further ado, the raven-haired man went back towards that house of his in order to take out a lengthy shower before placing himself in bed, tomorrow was a new day and training was on the top of the line.
