The sun was shining in the sky, it was a little past noon and with little clouds in the sky it was warm, not humid enough for it to be uncomfortable for the Kunoichi. She had left her Ninken, Nori, at home. She didn't want to wake him up when he was sleeping so well.

Today was... well, it was a special and important day for Kou. Today she was visiting her Satoshi's grave. In one hand she held beautifully vibrant red roses, in the other one she held two dog treats. Flipping her vivid orange hair over her shoulder, enjoying the feel of it move against the fabric of the lower back of her jacket. The fabric dark green was so soothing to her for some reason. She noticed another person, standing there reading the monument for Konoha's Kyuubi attack victims. From her place she could see that he had light green hair with what seemed to be yellow tips and an olive skin ton not to much different from her own. She opted to leave the boy be, he was probably grieving over a lost one.

The breeze picked up some as Kou turned left from the centre isle to one of the many rows. She counted to seventeen before stopping. Satoshi's gravestone was staring her dead in the face. Sitting down and crossing her legs she placed the roses and dog treats on the grave. Every week she would come and sit by his grave. It sounded weird but, she talked to him, telling him about what had happened so far, keeping Satoshi updated on her's, and the village's whereabouts.

"Hey Anii-chan. I'm so happy. This past week I got onto a squad, I have a boy named Giketsu and a boy named Kuro Sarutobi. The Sarutobi seems smart. My Sensei's name is Amaya Uchiha, she is a special Jounin and has long white hair. I don't usually see people with white hair..." She trailed off, looking to the sky.

She had heard him approaching slowly from behind her, and she could smell him as well. Tilting her head back, she closed her eyes and sighed softly.

"I could hear you breathing. You're going to have to try harder than that to spook me."

She turned around and opened her pine green eye first, looking up at him while looking him over for a second before opening her other, lighter emerald green eye. It was the boy she saw earlier. Now that he was closer she could tell that he wasn't a resident of the village hidden in the leaves, and that the tips of his hair were orange, not yellow.

"Yeah. Losing someone is... Very, very hard." She said slowly. Two years had passed and yet she still had horrid dreams of that night. But enough of that, her mind needed to stay... more happy. "So, you here for the Chuunin exams or somethin'? 'Cus I don't quiet recognize you, and I know nearly every one of the villagers to some extent."

She unfolded her legs and reached a hand up, silently asking for him to help her up in the small place. "Come on, I don't bite that hard." She said to him with a smile that showed her bright white fangs.

"It hurts like hell, and no one is birthed from air. You just don't remember your parents. I'm sorry about that."

She grinned as he helped her up, and then proceeded to brush the grass off of her bottom and fix her hair. This dude seemed... Interesting.

"OH! Lovely chompers you got there! How many teeth do you have?" She asked. Looking at his mouth. Yeap. Here she was. All the weirdness of Konoha, balled up into one person.

"Exams? Me? Nah. To much work and I also just got a squad. We haven't really trained that much yet." Extending her hand out once more she offered a handshake. "My name's Inuzuka, Kou. Nice to finally meet someone from outside my village."

And Interest peaked.

"Wait... Kisame clan... SHARK! You're the Shark of Kirigakure! Okay, so... I know this might be weird, but you might also get this question a lot... Do you have... Two of those... Dangly bits?" She quirked her left eyebrow, her tone making it obvious about what she was asking. She stood there, utter interest plastered on her face in the form of an idiot's grin.
