It wasn't exactly the best type of mission Yoichi had been given lately. It was really cut and dry. Help set up a forward scouting camp. Simple enough, and all he had to do was carry some things and walk. In the end, it was a very boring mission, although the company wasn't all too bad. Still, he didn't like all this peace when doing his missions. After all, Lady Risu's missions were infinitely more agreeable with him, packed with levels of danger and excitement, making it easy for him to get more power. But as a Shinobi of the Hidden Leaf, it was his job to do missions and remain low key, so he accepted smaller missions simply to keep his cover. After all, Lady Risu did want him to be somewhat inconspicuous. He was her go between, to have dealings with people she couldn't. Such as this other Uchiha under her wing. It was of no consequence if he was to be seen talking to him, as they were both Uchiha.
Snapped out of his thoughts as he walked though, Yoichi tuned back into the conversation at hand, with the older shinobi he was walking next to. He'd been feigning interest in his stories the entire time, so as to pass the time a little bit quicker. Not that anything he was carrying was heavy, it was simply a boring task of monotonous walking. There was little to do BUT talk to one another. "... and that's about when we realized we were in some heavy trouble. Outnumbered and overpowered, my unit was in shambles. Things were looking rather bleak at that point. Still, we Leaf shinobi have spirit, and the Will of Flames. We fought for every inch they forced us back, making them earn it. We lost far too many good shinobi that day, but their spirit ended up winning us the day. Despite all that went against us, we still managed to hold them off long enough for reinforcements to arrive. It was frightfully close, and I nearly lost my life."
