Tomoya Katō
D-rank
There was a saying in certain parts of the world, that still lives to this day. it goes as follows: "Subete no shigoto, asobi ga nai wa jakku nibui otokonoko ni narimasu". In case you don't speak that specific language, it's "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". If Tomoya has, in fact, ever heard of it he ignores it, as once more he's out training with a master. He was dressed in a simple white robe, that had a strange similarity to a toga. It was a specific training garment for Fire Jutsus, making sure that it would allow the body to bring it's natural Fire chakra to the surface, allowing them to learn techniques quicker and easier than normal. Opposite him was a tall man with bright red spiky hair, his eyes hidden under a pair of sunglasses, and his gloves hidden under bandage wrapping. He'd been recommended him when he asked about training some new Katon-ninjutsu. Apparently he was some kind of expert, and it was a comfort to know that he would be in skilled hands. His voice was strange, something in his mind told him it was an irish accent, then he realized he didn't know anywhere called Ireland. What was wrong with his brain this morning? He sighed, before his ears seemed to perk up as the man started talking again.
"So, Tomo-kun.."
"Please, call me Tomoya..." the man didn't seem to pay any attention to Tomoya's protest as he continued seconds later, cutting him off without batting an eyelid.
".... Tomo-kun, you want to train with me? I've already lent you the training garb that let me train to get this strong, and so I no longer need it. But you.... well, you're not exactly the strongest in Fire Chakra, you know what I'm saying?" Pushing down the instinct to have a go at his instructor for ignoring his request, Tomoya had to nod sheepishly at his words. There was a certain truth to what he was saying, even if it was a little cocky and rude. Tomoya, indeed, knew that he wasn't the strongest when it came to Katon chakra, but he was getting better all the time and so he wanted more training in it. Who wouldn't in his position? He needed to get stronger, and there was nothing that would get between him and his goal, his goal of being strong enough to gain enough experience to write and make more prosthetics. Not now that his main obstacle was.... taken care of. Permanently. Besides, when he'd met the Kazekage recently, she had pretty much laughed at his skills, despite him being the one that the village had always depended on for getting their prosthetics. It was rude, and frankly the fact that she would ignore him, and not just ignore him but treat him like crap just because he wanted her out of the emergency room (Which, in hindsight, he remembered didn't even happen... god damn it Gin was a pain in the ass sometimes.), but here words had proven something to him. He wasn't as respected as he should be, and he knew that he would have to continue on with his skills and ignore her, until he was strong enough that even she would acknowledge him. That would happen one day.... whether she liked it or not.
