Another mission given to Maigo, as a genin he wasn't give any ultra important tasks or missions but simple things like finding lost pets or checking in shipments into the administration building. This time he was given the task of patrolling around the village and keeping an eye out for any problems that might be creates and report them to the higher ups. The purpose of which accomplishes two things, keeping a constant lookout for any trouble being caused in the village and keeping an eye out for anyone who might be, well to put it casually, out of place in the village, missing nin, ronin, enemies of the village, etc. . . And secondly to report any problems with the village itself, anything that might be broken around the village or anything that might be causing problems that needs to be addressed. As Maigo walked through the village casually, no reason to rush through it and miss something, his full ninja gear with him and the afternoon ahead of him, he was told to keep an eye out for anyone who might be causing trouble around the village and stealing. It was cool and the sun was well in to its descent from the sky, clouds scattered the sky and the coolness of the air blew through Maigo's hair as he thought to himself on his walk. His concerns about training and getting stronger before the upcoming chuunin exams, who he would do it with, whether his newly met comrades would join him as well as how he'll keep up his training all while maintaining his regular ninja duties.

After one lap through the village the sun was nearly upon it's sunset as he made his way back into the market, he figured two or three laps at most before he called it a night and reported back in. Marking down a few broken roofs and things of that sort as he walked around, he heard a few people making a rukus in one of the shops, Drunk already? It's too early for that.... and the sounds of joviality filled the air and the sounds of crashing bar stools. It wasn't theft but it certainly was a disturbance, Maigo poked his head into the shop, it was just normal citizens who had decided to have fun on this night, maybe some special occasion brought them here. Maigo coughed loudly before he spoke so that he could get the attention of the entire shop, Cut that out, or leave, don't make me come back here. he stared down the men, one laying on the floor with his stool underneath him, they were definitely drunk and having too much fun to take in the severity of his threat. Maigo turned back and walked away, if they were still there on his next lap then we would have to act, turning away fro the resumed sounds of the shop and loud grumbling by those few men. Nothing else really happened on his second lap, told to keep an eye out for problems with theft around the village, but so far he had seen or heard nothing of the likes so far.

Back into the market he looked around as some shops were cleaning up, a few bars were still running but nothing of the sorts, running by the bar with the men he peeked in as he walked by and it seemed that those men had left, which meant no reason for him to worry. It was as he was leaving that he noticed a peculiar thing, a few of the stalls which sold fresh fruit and other groceries hadn't fully packed up and instead threw tarps over there products and tied them down. He wondered if those were the same one's being stolen from since it would be so easy to lift up the tarp. As he finished his third lap through, it was again quite, and he headed toward the admin building with his notes to turn in and report.

As he entered he headed to the room they were using for debriefing where one of the chuunin or higher ninja was sitting and taking notes of the missions. Maigo entered and stood a few feet away from them as he began to speak, The mission was relatively quite, I noticed a few of the drainage ditches were overflowing and not draining properly, there may be a blockage or something that needs to be addressed or perhaps more outflow valves built in response. There was a small disturbance with some drunk people in the bars, easily handled without incident, and as for the thefts around the village. Some of the shops weren't fully closing up and instead laying tarps and things over their stuff, which is relatively easy to get by. It would be worth following up and making sure that they are handling their stores properly and taking the necessary precautions as well. With that they thanked Maigo for his time and dismissed him from the room and he returned home to get some rest before more of his missions tomorrow.
