There was low growl coming from somewhere. Truth be told, it was quite loud and filled with all kids of emotional tension. Too preoccupied with her own thoughts, it took Gin a while to figure out that she was the source of that primal noise. It made her sound like some sort of animal, consumed with all sorts of rage. People walking around the Administrative Building whispered under their breaths while shooting the woman worried looks. When their eyes locked with hers, however, they quickly scurried away, hiding their faces from hers in pure fear of what she could be capable of doing to them. Funny enough, the silver haired woman meant them no harm and just wanted to show that there was no need for concern. She was fine. However, that wasn't what the expression on her face or her entire demeanor showed. She was much too angry and much too forward in nature too hide that fact. What was the source of that answer, you may ask? Well, a rabbit.
It wasn't just any rabbit, however, it was a devious little fucker that had caused all kinds of trouble for the past few weeks in this tiny little village while everyone was trying to enjoy the yearly celebrations. Gin had had to clean up all kinds of messes because of that little fuzzball and his - it was a he, Gin had noticed the first time she had captured the thing - tendency and apparent need to spoil everything for everyone. Well, there was that, and the fact that the thing had openly mocked Gin when she had turned him into the village officials the first time. Joke's on him, Gin still found enough money to buy herself dinner later. Well, the word "found" could only be used loosely, but still.
The latest fiasco now echoed throughout the Cocoa Valley - that nice and colorful place with all the lively maps and happy people. The chaos was very much noticeable. It started out small - one little kid was seemingly pretending to act like a bunny, hopping around and munching on things normal people would never munch on, like grass. Reports said it was adorable - why would that detail be included in an official report? - and drew a large crowd. Several kids joined in. And then adults. And then everyone was in on it and none of them were snapping out of it. After someone reported seeing an animal that looked an awful lot like that Moon Rabbit, the city officials called upon the visiting shinobi almost immediately. Gin had been more than happy to thwart that thing's plans, so she was one of the first people to accept the task and all of its implications. She was given a set of chocolate carrots that were supposedly infused with chakra and would snap them out of the genjutsu.
Genjutsu. The word always left a bitter taste in Gin's mouth, even when she hadn't spoken it out loud. Of course the rabbit was a genjutsu user. It made sense and also served as an excuse for Gin to hate him even more. That was why she was outright fuming right now. He was probably a medic as well. The mere thought of it was what had made Gin start to growl and hiss under her breath. And that was where she was now, mentally psyching herself up for a possible encounter with that stupid fucking white ball of fur. She had to consciously remind herself that that wasn't the mission's priority. She had to make sure that the latest victims of this prank were all kept safe and that they snapped out of it and returned to normal. Gin sighed. It was time to move onward to do just that.
