Rayne stepped out into the training area with a smile on her face as usual. It had the usual training dummies, and a well worn and made track for running. And that was likely what She would be using today. Li was fast, and she would need the training to keep out with him. Rayne sat down near the track and watched a couple people running. She was wearing her "mission" outfit today, which doubled as her training outfit. It was made up of a pair of pants and a shirt, and a suna flak jacket over the shirt. The shirt was long sleeved but the sleeves were folded up, making it look close to sleeveless. All of th r above were in desert camoflague. A mix of Sandy whites and tans, and some browns. It served to make her less visible in the sand desert around Sunagakure.

She stood 5 feet 6 inches tall and her soft chocolate brown hair and eyes matched some of the brown parts of her camo. Her ears were pierced and in them was a small chocolate brown pair of rings, which wrapped around her earlier. They were barely big enough to fit. She had even painted her nails the same chocolate brown color. It gave her a sandy color scheme with brown accents. Her shoes matched this color set as well. Most genin didn't wear a flak jacket, but her mother had given her her old one. It fit well enough. The shoulder guards partially concealed her folded up sleeves.

Li entered the training area with a slight smile on his face. it would be a bigger smile but he had a sucker in his mouth and if he smiled too much it would fall out and he hated having his suckers go to waste. He looked around to see everything the way it usually is with the dummies that are beaten and cut up from all the training to the dusty old track. He looked around more to see that there was hardly anyone here. Just a couple of runners and a few people standing by the entrance talking to each other. He took another look around to see Rayne sitting by the track. He slowly walked over, saving his energy for the training as he thought to him self. He didn't want to go to hard on her abut at the same time he likes to impress her. He finally came up with a decision to let her choose how difficult he should be. as he walked he would look back at the entrance hoping no one else would come in. As much as he loved to impress people he likes his training to be in a low populated area if possible, And a lot of the time when theres a lot of people they don't even train they just hang out and talk or gossip about things or other people and that really gets annoying. He looks back at Rayne to see her in her combat uniform and knowing her that means she is going to try her very best.

As he got up to her he stopped to do one last check around the training area before they get started. He started walking again towards her but now at a faster pace. He was really nervous about people coming in while they were training and accidentally doing something to upset Rayne. He finally got to her and as he dd he took off his jacket which he only does around her but every time he does he has a tan bandanna wrapped around his neck to hide the clan symbol from her. He still is keeping it secret and doesn't plan on telling her any time soon. He has his Forehead protector/headband tied around his arm where it would usually be but this time not around his jacket sleeve due to him knowing he was going to take his jacket off. He wore his usual combat uniform which for him was a short sleeved black shirt with the two dragons entwined with each other, and sand camouflage cargo pants that go over the top of his dark tan boots. He bends over to make sure his boots are tight and ready for the training he is about to do. He stands back up and looks over at Rayne. "So, you ready to train Missy?" He asked her with a smile.

He calls her Missy a lot due to her always correcting him when he talks or pointing out his mistakes. He does it more of a hoke thought to get her out of her serious mood into a more lightened up and giggly mood. it works most of the time but there are time she isn't in the mood. "Also i need to know how hard you want me to go against you? if you want i can go a bit easy on you if that's the case." He said with a smile still while stretching his arms and legs.

Rayne stood and smiled broadly as Lie came towards her. She was in a great mood and happy to see him. She fiddled with her own forehead protector, which she wore as a belt. The reason was simple. The constant sun of the desert gleaned off the metal plate and gave her away, and could blind someone. She watched those in the training are a for a moment and stretched herself out as Li approached her. This was going to be a race, and she would loose. But, then again, it was valuable training no matter what. Besides a healthy dose of competitive drive was a good thing. And when it came to speed, too couldn't get a better speed training partner than Li. Speed was his domain. Rayne stretched a bit more in preparation.

"So, you ready to train Missy?" Rayne giggled happily. She loved it when he called her that. It always made her smile. Even when she was sad it cheered her up a bit. It almost always mode her giggle. "Yes!" Rayne stood erect and with perfect posture, making a joke out of it, She mock saluted him for a moment and giggled again. "Sorry." Rayne wasn't really deeply in regret, sorry wad almost a tagline or slogan for her. She relaxed and bit more and loomed out over the track she would be racing on, then up at the desert sky above Sunagakure. It was as good a day for a race as one could hope for. At least there were no sandstorms.

"Also i need to know how hard you want me to go against you? if you want i can go a bit easy on you if that's the case." Rayne smiled in an offhand sort of way as she contemplated wether she wanted him to go hard on her or not. She wouldn't feel well if she won and he was going easy on her. Failure would give her motivation to train. "No need to go easy on me, I could use tho extra motivation." She spoke with more confidence than she felt, inside she knew she would loose. He would probably tease Her a bit too if He got ahead of her. Either way, winning against someone of equal general skill who was going easy, well, wasn't worth winning really. She wasn't sure If she really agreed with that thought though. "I am ready when you are I guess." Rayne grabbed him in a hug for a moment before releasing him with a smile.
