Leaving the village was quite interesting but it was a hard decision too. Dray was born in konohagakure no sato. The village hidden in leaves and he had also grown up here. Leaving this same village to explore the shinobi world would be a great step towards developing himself and getting closer to his family's killer.. Claymore..
All night, dray had been up thinking about his decision. He had already recived permission from the hokage, sousetsu senju, to leave the village and travel to kirigakure no sato. If he had not been granted the permission, it would have been more easier to stay back in the village but this permission was a lucky one. The hokage was probably impressed with dray's growing prowess as a ninja of the leaf and he decided to permit him to leave so he could gain more experience. Solving some mind issues and keeping some for later, dray closed his eyes to sleep for the road to kirigakure would definetly be a long and lonely one as he was the only one travelling.
As dray closed his eyes to sleep, the cock crowed to inform dray of the morning as he had only slept for about an hour. It was still something. At least, he would not have to doze during the journey.

Getting out of bed, dray washed his face and looked around his home.. He sighed before entering into the bath. He took a pleasant showing before cleaning himself with a green fluffy towel. Dray proceeded to dress himself as he wore a whit shory sleeve vest and his long black leather pants. He put on his black leather shoes before arming himself with kunais, shurikens and senbons. Looking up at the brilliant armour that was once his fathers' , hanging up on the wall, dray brought it down and put it on. He felt a sweet aura of protection around his person as he girdled up the green kimono armour with a red lion and he picked up his konoha forehead protector and tied it firmly to his forehead. A proud shinobi of the leaf he was.

Stepping out of his home into the senju compound, little to no senjus were out in the compound yet so, dray just left the compound with good wishes since no one would really miss him. Dray walked through the village for the last time before leaving. He made sure to take in every memories of the village as he branched the shayuyab pub and left a message for his sensei with the bar man saying that he had gone to kirigakure so, their meeting would have to be postponed. His sensei would be sure to get the message if he came by the resturant and if the bar man did recognize him since dray had described him as a man wearing a kimono, a grey umbrella, falling hairs, and a unique eye patch. He was hardly going to mistake him if he came by since that was their meeting point in konoha.

Walking towards the village gates, dray waved at the shinobi standing watch as they well recognized dray and didn't give him any troubles. Once he stepped out of the village gates, he thought of the best route to kirigakure no sato. The land or the water. If he took the land, he might be attacked by bandits he did not want to fight as he wanted to enter the land of water as clean as possible and if he did take the water route, as he had heared, the mist covering the area makes assasination easier but still, dray felt attached to the water route. So, off he went to the nearest port. Dray did not wish to stress himself so he just walked down to the port. He cared not about when he got to kiri since he was already feeling konoha get farther from him. Upon getting to the nearest port, he saw a vacant boat with a young man in it. The man was probably in his thirties so dray felt he was agile enough to steer the boat.
He talked to the young man about taking him across the water to the land of water. The man agreed for a price which dray haggled after which they finally came to an agreement. Dray got into the boat as the man came down to untie the boat and push it off of the shore and so the journey began.
A new dawn. A new life but still the same person. As he had proved himself in konoha, he would too in kiri though he preferred his actions speak for him than his words. The morning was becoming brighter. The sun shining warmly and balancing tha atmosphere with the cold that was now blowing to signify dray that the land of the water was not far off.
Keeping still and focused on the route, scouting for anything suspicious, little time passed when the arrive..looks likt the water route was faster. As the boat got to shore, dray came down from the boat and thanked the man. He paid him and headed for the gates of kirigakure no sato.
