1 Freedom or Capture? [private/Hayato/inviteonly] Tue Sep 16, 2014 8:56 am
Otter Aiden
D-rank
It had been a little while now since Aiden began fleeing from his captors and from slavery once again, this time there wasn't a crowd or anyone or anything else that could ensure him some time to flee from these monsters, just a road before him and locked buildings on both the left and right sides. A small storm of sand was kicking up, not one of lethal and blinding proportions, but one that was more than enough to make things harder to see in, not to mention one that also slowed Aiden down as well. The grains pelting his rags and skin, creating and uncomfortable feeling that was merely intensified as a few snuck in between his neck and his collar, making his already irritated and damaged skin even worse and causing some small trickles of blood to drip out, appearing under the leather collar. It hurt, oh it hurt, but not nearly as much as if he gets captured again. He couldn't do it, he couldn't spend one more day with that man. He would sooner die than let that happen.
He felt the skin under his feet begin to hurt as it cracked open, and his adrenaline was wearing off, meaning that it wouldn't be long before he would have to stop to take some breaths. He had to find a place to take a small break, somewhere he can hide and rest so he wouldn't wear himself out just yet and also to hopefully lose the trail of his persisted. It would seem that small window of opportunity would be now for him, as an open window appeared to his right. Jumping through it, he would land on his right arm, bruising it slightly. Due to it being merely a bruise though, Aiden chose to ignore it and instead quickly scrambled behind a few crates, hiding from his captors while attempting to catch his breath. "Damnit! Where is he?" He could here one of his perusers yell as their voices looked closer to him. He held his breath and stop all movement that he was making, becoming stiffer than a statue.
He was terrified. Terrified of getting caught, terrified of the consequences of such, and terrified of having to live his life as a captive once more. He was just.. Terrified. Being born into this life, he already knew that those his master hired throughout the years didn't give less of a damn if Aiden is alive or dead, and will usually go out of their way to make that point. He was fortunate though in the fact that there were a few that did feel pity for him and taught him how to speak among a few other things, though they were quickly and forcibly "removed" upon his master's learning about this, but it was too late. As soon as Aiden learned how to speak and a little bit of the outside world, he wanted to be gone, and soon.
