Clan History: The Tankyo originated in Kirigakure. They were at the forefront of Kirigakure's long range and defense unit. Their unique skills were held in high regard. After decades of loyal service to Kirigakure, the clan became disgruntled, and began using the knowledge of their kekkai genkai to develop weapons for other countries. Kirigakure could not touch them at the time, since they were backed strongly by the villages they had aided. Policies were then formed to make being a Tankyo in Kirigakure very troublesome, forcing them out. The Tankyo then migrated to Sungakure. The unnatural environment has for years burdened them and has made it difficult for them to develop their skills to their full potential. 

Kekkei Genkai Description: Tankyo clansmen are able to manipulate moisture in the air into a fine lens. This fine lens made of suiton chakra allows them to increase the range of their vision, as the lens acts similar to a magnifying glass or binocular. The formation of the lens is called Mizu no Saito . The lens can also be used to launch beams of chakra onto a very small area. Jutsus (projectile jutsus) can be apped in tandem with Mizu no Siato, they receive a +1 rank in damage due to the precise area of attack. 

Anytime the suiton magnifying glass is used to fire beams of chakra or used to augment another jutsu, a sizzle will initiate on the surface that is in its focal point. Finally, the Tankyo possess the unique ability to shape themselves into a lens and absorb jutsus. They are able to accomplish this by merging with the moisture in the air. 

Drawbacks: If the sizzling starts and is felt on the body of the target, the reaction time of the opponent to the upcoming projectile attack is increased by 1 tier. 

Tankyo clansmen must take the Hesistant Element special characteristic and cannot balance it. 


Because of Tankyo's reliance on long range offensive assault, they are unable to learn  Taijutsu and can only learn the kyuujutsu subspec of Bukijutsu.


Tankyo struggle intensely when learning/training jutsus/elements/specialties due to the unnatural environment of Sunagakure. When training/learning jutsus, specializations, or elements, the wordcount is increased by 50% (cannot take Quick learner).

Description:
Increases the user's range of forward vision. At C rank, he is able to see 50 meters away as if it was 20 meters away. At B rank, user is able to see 75 meters as if it was 20 meters away. At A rank, user is able to see 150 meters away as if it was 20 meters away. All ranks grant the user a +1 tier to reaction time against all actions in their line of sight.

The user manipulates the moisture in the air, forming several minuscule concave and convex lenses that are barely visible with the naked eye. The lenses causes constant fluctuations in depth perception to those looking into the affected area, reducing their reaction time by 1 tier. The Tankyo clansmen can also use the lenses to offer him/her unconventional vantage points as the lenses sends visual information to the optic nerve of the user.

Description:
The user creates a water lens up to 5 meters in front of them. The lens is used to focus a beam of chakra onto a localized area of up to 4 inches in radius. The lens focuses chakra onto a local area. During the initiation of the jutsu, a sizzling sensation will be felt on the target, warning them of the potential threat, increasing their reaction time by 1 tier. Afterwards, the beam will fire forth at 55 m/s and will pierce 2 inches into flesh. A strike can be fatal depending on the location. Jutsus can also be apped in tandem with this jutsu (must be stated in the jutsu that it can be used in tandem with Mizu no Saito [Beam]). Jutsus apped in tandem receive a +1 to damage for a single post(Mizu no Saito Beam must be active).

Description: The user begins by making their body extremely flat and circular, and then they convert their entire mass into a thin yet dense film of suiton chakra by merging with the moisture in the air. They have now turned themselves into a human lens. This is no ordinary lens though. Firstly, the user can still move in lens form by seemingly flying near the surface, but all their physical stats are reduced by 3 tiers. While in the lens form, the user cannot use other jutsus, but they can perform basic strikes, by simple throwing themselves into the opponent. Secondly, in this form, the user can absorb any jutsu of A rank and convert it into to pure chakra and fire it back in the form of a beam. The beam will do burn damage one rank lower than the rank of the jutsu on an area of 5 inches. Doton jutsus are treated as one rank higher, and katon jutsus are treated as one rank lower. In Human lens form, the user can absorb up to 4 A rank jutsus or 6 B rank jutsus.
