Kekkei Genkai Description: The Totsuka clan have a special bond with their weapons, due to this bond they gain abilities according to the bond they have with each weapon. The user may not be bonded with more than four weapons at a time and each bond only needs to be trained according to the rank.

First Bond

The members of this clan bond with the first weapon they get that is at least of C-Rank or higher and will start at bond level C with their first weapon.

Their first weapon is unique in that it is able to rank up with the user, however during each rank up is a reforge cost as well as word count for training the weapon. The weapon must also pass certain requirements along with the user.

C-Rank to B-Rank = 500ryo + 1000words
B-Rank to A-Rank = 1000ryo + 1500words to normal
or 1500ryo + 2000 words to include a passive stat boost of 1 tier to one specific stat
A-Rank to S-Rank = 2000ryo for normal S-Rank with no ability added
4000ryo for S-rank with either an additional passive tier boost or a chakra costing ability which has either two offensive abilities, an offense and supplementary ability or a single defensive ability

The weapon ranking up applies only to the first weapon bonded, all other weapons need to be reforged, enchanted or obtained normally.

The ability can only be applied to weapons bonded and the user may not use any kekkei genkai ability that out ranks his weapon that he is bonded to

C-Rank : They have a link that allows them to always locate their weapon that is bonded to them
Requires 1000 words to train

B-Rank : Along with their previous ability the user now gains a 1 tier boost to a specific stat while holding the weapon.
Requires 2000 words to train

A-Rank : Along with all the previous abilities the user can call his weapon towards him from any location at the cost of 5 chakra. The weapon also allows the user to sense anything that is touching the weapon within 5meters of it which includes anything touching the ground near it.
Requires 4000 words to train

S-Rank : The user now gains an additional tier boost unless his passive tier boost is already at +3 in which case the user then applies a radiul debuff of -1 to that same stat to users who have made contact with the weapon.

Breakdown : The bonded weapon will break any weapons that are 2 ranks or more lower than it

Unbreakable : At this rank the user is able to use unbreakable twice per thread that costs ten chakra for first use and twenty for second use with a ten post cooldown between the first and second cast. The user and the weapon become indestructable for one post, the user may not move or attack during this time and is generally used as a last resort.

At the cost of forty chakra the user can upgrade their weapon for the rest of the battle but loses all of the passives of the previous ranks other than S-Rank.

Drawbacks: Members of this clan use double the word counts to rank up specializations other than Bukijutsu as well as requiring fuuinjutsu training at either the secondary or tertiary level. Users without fuuinjutsu suffer one post prep delay on all techniques as a result.
The user may never know more non-bukijutsu jutsu then Buki. At least half of all jutsu must be bukijutsu and the user may not learn taijutsu,senjutsu,kuchiyose,seijutsu. They may learn Kugutsu in order to manipulate their weapons but they may not get any puppets.
