Clan History: The Nurarihyon have been around since the time of Rikudo Sennin. They were simply Taoist and Daoist monks who lived away from the violence, deep in the recesses of the wilderness. While chakra was wide-spread and becoming rampant through the Sage's teachings, these people never knew of it. Instead, they had their own teaching...their own powers. No one knows exactly how these people were able to, but they were able to bind their souls with others, forming some bond of some sort. Some even say that they were in touch with Yokai, supernatural creatures, and had connections to the Nurariyhon, the ruler of all Yokai, which is why they were able to find such magnificent creatures. No matter the case, it wasn't until the formation of the villages that these people came to light. However, they were different from those olden monks of yore. They were now families, a very diverese, possibly not even related clan. Its very likely the teachings were passed down in the temple of that time, hence why families had these special abilities, and is possibly why most of these people are not even blood related. These people merely dubbed Nurariyhon, as the yokai rumor has been growing more and more popular as of now.

Kekkei Genkai Description: Members of this clan, due to sharing part of their soul with their Soul Summon, are able to use Soul Summons and Maintain them with one rank less the standard chakra cost(A C-Rank Summon would cost the amount of a D-Rank, and so on. This is a passive ability). As such, they cost 1125 ryo instead of 1500 to rank up. Soul Summons also have a additional 20 chakra to their chakra pools. The Soul Summons are also much more resilient than the normal summon, and have a stat tier of 3 instead of 2 in their Endurance stat.


Drawbacks: Because their souls are connected with that of a summon's, the clan member's souls are stretched apart between the two, forcing the clan members to be forced to take the fatigue trait without balancing it out, as the stretching and separating of their souls would cause fatigue to the actual member's body. Fuuninjutsu, instead of having a +1 against  Mythical Summons, now have a +1 against all Summons. The weapons and armor cost for Summons is doubled as well. Also, members of this clan suffer a -20 chakra to their chakra pools. They also can only have ONE Soul Contract Summon at anytime.

As such,if the Soul Summon dies, a member is free to make a new Soul Contract at the cost of 1500 ryo. However, they will suffer ANOTHER -20 chakra each time if they do. They can app a new Soul Contract only 3 times as well. After the third time, the human WILL die due to now having fully lost all of their life force. Members are able to have normal Summons, but only Soul Summons are effected by the clan's perks and cons.

This clan, as-is, is not quite acceptable.

Fatigue, and -20 to your chakra pool for:

+20 to the summon's chakra pool, more durable summons, and complete elimination of summoning chakra cost.

Fuuinjutsu only has a +1 versus Summons and pets which attain Legendary status or are mythical in some way. Unless this clan's ability makes it by default a target for this, there's no reason to add an extra weakness to Sealing.

You need to detail just how much more durable the summon is. Like, what kind of damage can it take before it's considered 'heavily injured'? You should give a list per rank of this. (Look at the Jutsu and Item Guidelines to take into consideration what 'a lot' of damage is for each rank.)

In addition, do you mean one contract? Or just one single individual from the contract(s) you have? If it's the latter, keep in mind that you have to re-app the single summon to make it higher-rank.

You may be allowed to discount the cost of summoning, but not eliminate it entirely. The benefit of that far outweighs even -60 chakra for having had 3 Soul Contracts, especially at higher ranks. I would recommend, as a start, a discount on the maintenance cost. I would like another mod to weigh in on this particular issue.

Please make a clan jutsu that creates a Soul Contract with a summoned creatur. Reaping the benefits (or choosing not to) should be able to be a choice.
