Rippa
D-rank
Rippa had been taking a break from the reality of things. Even now he felt like everything was foreign and discomforting. He stared out his window as the rain outside slammed against the windows and the wind howled. It seemed to mirror his emotions. The grey day was pouring down on the village hidden in the leaves. Konoha. His home since birth and now he felt so alone. He missed his father but truth be told he had known it was coming. His tears were gone and now the hurt inside was slumbering like a sleeping beast. And he would let it slumber. He would allow it to be ignored for as long as he could. Hoping it did not awaken. Still his blue eyes looked outside and watched the storm. Thunder booming in the clouds above. Like flashing lights it played its beat. But he would be out in that soon enough.
Rippa had decided if anything he needed to distract himself. He needed to be put onto an assignment to occupy his mind. Any assignment would do. And so he had been handed a notice to go and observe a couple of genin rivals scheduled to duke it out. Had it been just the genin at the location provided it likely would of been canceled as being too dangerous. But with a chunnin medic there they were fairly confident in his skills. Enough so that they expected both genin to come out whole. He was informed that both genin had been instructed to meet at the location provided for performance review. They were to meet him there and he was to observe and report on how they did. Heal if required. And so he would. Besides it being a distraction he was actually rather curious about these rival genin. He himself had always been feared as the blood prince. So aside from his friend Risu he would say he had no rivals. The memory of being called the blood prince made him shake his head. He had only been reminded of it due to his father passing. Whispers had reached him from around the village of those who knew of him. With his new position as head of the Angel branch of the chi clan, it appeared as if people had begun whispering about Konoha's blood king. No longer the prince he once was. He really needed to get out and away from it all even in the storm.
He was already dressed of course. His boots strapped tight with his black pants tucked into them. His belt tightened and his one scroll attached to his left hip. The medical scroll strapped there with every medical supply sold to the general market. Scalpels and bandages, the works all in a box sealed into a scroll. He slipped into a black tank top and put on his silver necklace. The Angel wings pressed against his chest. His hands were covered int black fingerless leather gloves. And lastly his read coat with his konoha head band stitched into the left shoulder was slipped into. The coat falling to just above his knee's. He ran a hand through his white hair as he stared into the mirror. Before finally taking a deep breath and grabbing his red umbrella and heading out.
Under his umbrella only seemed a little drier then his surroundings. He had to angle it against the wind and that was a pain. But still his boots splashed through the mud as he walked through the village. His tall frame not having too hard of a time fighting against the wind. Even as his coat flapped wildly behind him. Still he made it down to the docks first. Moving along one of the covered docks to the end. It was dry enough under there. He shook out his umbrella and looked out at the setting for the battle. About 30 boats rocking back and forth on the churning waters of the bay. All tied together in a big square. The aim was to have the two genin battle on the boat in the storm while the waters shifted the boats too and fro. Footing would be difficult to find and balance would be key. Perception would also be limited by the storm. He raised a single white brow but didn't argue. He could easily get out there and retrieve both of them if need be. For now he would wait for the two to arrive.
