Sanosuke
D-rank
"Ow! Easy on the hair will you?" Sanosuke grumbled as a high rated barber had began washing his hair of any dirt that may have been there. The woman was using rare potions and shampoos to ensure that his hair was possibly the most clean and enticing hair in Kumogakure. The wasps of the wasp senjutsu clan had done a spectacular job at fashioning his hair into extremely tight braids to the point that the braids looked to be long strands of hair. A feat that could never have been done by the hands of humans. He loved the way his hair was now, and was glad that the barber was merely shampooing his hair and not undoing the braids that were in it. The barber looked at Sanosuke and bowed apologetically as she let the hot water pour down on his head. The water soaked his hair until it was drenched and also free of any soap that may have been in there. The woman then went to work on preparing his hair to be tied up with the traditional hair ornament that other Raikage must have used to put their hair up in case it was too long. Today was a big day after all. It was the day that he be anointed the position Jyuudaime Raikage. The chancellors insisted that he looked his absolute best for it, against his better wishes Sanosuke gingerly agreed.
He was in the administration building of the Raikage, specifically her office- that would soon be his office in a few hours. As soon as his hair was done, Sanosuke would have to slip on the traditional robes of the Raikage, along with the yellow hat that goes along with the robes. He would stand on the rooftop of the administration building where he would meet his people to gaze upon their new Raikage first hand. Sanosuke felt unsure about all of this. Sanosuke felt unsure at first about taking the position. When he was offered, Sanosuke didn't think twice about accepting it. Afterwards however, the young kage began to question if he really deserved it. Now as he was so close to getting the highest ranked position in the village, Sanosuke didn't know what he should do first. As soon as the barber was done, she bowed once more and left the room. It was soon time for Sanosuke to make his first public appearance as the Raikage. His heart was beating so fast that he honestly believed that it would burst out of his chest of he didn't calm down. It was beating so fast that Sanosuke could barely put on his robes. Navi was looking at Sanosuke and was laughing at how nervous he was getting. A tick marked appeared on his right temple, that annoying little fly. Before he got the chance to even scream at the wasp, Sanosuke heard a voice in the corner.
"She is right to laugh. You are jittering to the point that you might cause an earthquake."
When he turned around, Sanosuke was surprised to see someone that he hadn't seen in ages. It had been too long. The man responsible for him being half the shinobi he is today. His master, Master Pathik. The elder was standing by the door smiling at his pupil making a peace sign in support of Sanosuke achieving this righteous position. Sanosuke couldn't help but smile like an idiot. Even though they were men, Sanosuke had bonded with this smelly old guru to the point he belived that they were like brothers. Running into a hug, Sanosuke embraced his teacher in a tight hug. The elder man returned the hug and smiled. "Well done my student, you have made me so proud." Pathik said as he slowly let go of the hug, Sanosuke did the same thing. The guru materialized Sanosuke's traditional kage cap of the village hidden in the clouds. "Now go and be the kage I knew you could be." Sanosuke nodded as he put his cap on. Nodding at Navi, the wasp glittered around her partner to show how happy he was. Taking one quick look in the mirror, Sanosuke smiled. This was what a Raiakge looked like. The weight of responsibility on his shoulders was incredible. He was solely responsible for everyone in his village, hopefully they can bare with him.
When he turned back around, Pathik was gone. That was his teacher for him, here for a minute and gone in a second. It was time anyways to meet his people as the Jyuudaime Raikage of the village hidden in the clouds. The sun was shining brightly and it had been 3 weeks since the death of the Kyuudaime Raikage, Reika Misora. Taking a deep breath, Sanosuke looked at Navi and smirked at her as they headed towards the door. When he laid his hand on the handle of the door, Navi nudged Sanosuke. "Ready to be the most powerful man in Kumogakure? Navi asked teasingly.
Opening the door to hear the roaring crowd of Kumogakure as they had finally noticed that their new Raikage had stepped out of his office, Sanosuke looked at Navi and then the direction of his people. "They think I do, hopefully I won't disappoint them." Was all Sanosuke said as him and Navi walked towards the center of the roof of the administration building where they could get a glimpse of everyone that had gathered for his inauguration into office.
