Takumi Senju
D-rank
Takumi arose from his sleeping state, today was one of his few days off. He yawned as he stood and began toward the bathroom to take a shower. Once he stepped into the bathroom he noticed his hair had began to grow out again. He was not bad looking with long hair but cut it when he became an Operative of the ANBU. He opened up his medicine cabinet and took out a pair of scissors and began to trim his hair back down to it's previous look of just below the nape of his neck.
When he finally finished his hair cut he took off his clothes from the previous night and stepped into the shower. He began to lather his hair in a mint spelling shampoo and ran his hands over his many muscles and scars. These things that defined his very life as a shinobi. He smiled as he thought back to his days as a genin. All the days he was late and dengen would yell at him, though it was not the most fun time he would not trade it for the world. He lost track of time and was in the shower for close to an hour before he finally realized he was long past clean.
As he stepped out his looked at his reflection, his crimson red eyes piercing the air as he smiled. This was his past, present, and future. He was a shinobi it was in his DNA. Takumi was a member of the famed Senju clan that had a hand in building the shinobi world. He walked back into his room after toweling off and pulled a pair of white boxers and a black T-Shirt with the iwagakure village symbol in the center.
After that he grabbed a pair of pants and his Jounin jacket and took them in the kitchen with him. He walked in front of the stove and made a meal of eggs and bacon with a side of toast and butter. After he was done eating he pulled on his pants and threw his jacket on loosely and headed out the door.
Today he was going to visit the Fire Temple of iwa, he had been there many times before to pay his respects to the gods or just meditate. And today would be no different so he started the long walk to the temple. He walked through the village waving to all the children who looked up at him with eager eyes. He smiled as he walked through the village knowing that this was his one true home and he would give his life to protect.
When he finally arrived at the temple the monks all bowed and said "Hello Takumi-San what brings you here today." Taku smiled as he knew the monk from his previous visits "Hello Mikoto-San i am here to pay my respect and get some peace a quiet." The man smiled and noded and called for two monks to escort Taku to the temples chambers. Taku walked to the alter and began to pray "Oh great and devout gods of heaven and earth i pray for the safety of the village and the health of all the inhabitants." Takumi pulling out a small blade from next to the alter cut his palm and allowed the blood to fall on the alter "I give my life energy so that you shall keep us safe under your divine powers."
After finishing his prayer he walked back outside and had his hand bandaged and then walked over to the pond and sat down. This was his favorite spot to meditate at the temple, it just always felt balanced. As he allowed himself to slip into his meditative state he smiled and thought This should be a good day
