Dākuchairudo Jishin
D-rank
Symbol:
Clan: Dākuchairudo (ダークチャイルド) (Literally, 'The Dark Child') Kekkei Genkai: Don'yokuna Puredetā (Voracious Predator) path, or Kurai Torikkusutā (Dark Trickster) path.
(The user must choose one of the two.)
Elements: Varies from clansman to clansman
Specialization: Those who follow the Don'yokuna puredetā path have a Taijutsu focus, while those who follow the Kurai Torikkusutā focus upon Genjutsu.
Location: Kumogakure
Clan History:
"In the world of Shinobi there have been a great many evolutionary jumps, those in a certain area gaining an ability to get ahead of the competition. The world has always seen fit to regulate itself in such ways. We have been created by such a jump, but we are new in our entirety. We are the future ... Manifest Destiny my brethren!" -- The Kemono No Haha, a passage from The 'Shi No Tenrei'
It is unknown where the clan originated from, some say they come from the Bowels of the Netherworld itself, they would heartily disagree of course. Unfortunately most of the clan's history has been lost to just that; however, what is left has been written in the clan's holy book: "Shi No Tenrei", a passage of which can be seen above.
The book states this, (In so many words):
Many a year ago, in the first years that the clans of this world chose their homes in the villages of ninja, two shinobi arose. The two have since lost their names to history but are referred to as, the Kemono No Haha, and the Chichi Torikkusutā; the Beast mother, and the Father Trickster. Two people who shared the womb of a clan-mother who had seen it fit to leave the world after giving birth. The two were not the first of the clan, but they are the two most significant members in it's history; now 'Godly Ancestors', they have in large strides have formed the legacy for the Dākuchairudo. From birth the two were groomed by their clansmen, the Kemono No Haha by the Don'yokuna puredetā, and the Chichi Torikkusutā by the Kurai torikkusutā. Chosen at birth to change the legacy of the clan, to lead them into a grand new life...
You see, back in the days of yore the clan had a penchance for extreme violence leading them to trouble with the many villages, and the many clans who inhabited them. Being as they were, those who eat Shinobi' hearts, in a perpetual state of war with many. While the Kemono No Haha relished the constant battling, the Chichi Torikkusutā had quite the opposite view upon the situation. He wished to ally himself, and his clan or at least the half he controlled, with a country. The Kemono no Haha would have no part of this, instead opting to continue the traditional ways of killing any and everything that the Don'yokuna puredetā set their eyes upon, taking no mind of her brother who she felt was a lesser being for his wish to assimilate, and perhaps even an enemy now.
So taking his stake in the clan he left for the only sensible choice in country, Kumogakure. During this temultous time the Raikage sought help with the protection of his people, and making a deal with the devil seemed a sensible choice. The deal was simple enough, the Dākuchairudo had to promise they would not feast upon any Shinobi of the village without warrant from the Raikage, and that the Chichi Torikkusutā would bring the Kage the head of his sibling to ensure the loyalty to the village of Kumogakure no Sato. Without hesitation the Kurai Torikkusutā and their leader the Chichi Torikkusutā.
Upon finding the Kemono no Haha, as she was committing to her infamous speech which can be seen above, the two spoke for the final time. The Chichi Torikkusutā stressing that they would assimilate or die, the Kemono No Haha stated that assimilation was death in itself.
The battle ensued, and due to the arrogance of the Don'yokuna puredetā it was quite the lopsided fight. An utter slaughter, but of course both sides always have casualties. Both parties lost their respected leaders, both with blade plunged into the chest. Without leader the two groups once again joined into one, out of fear for survival, a fear the Don'yokuna felt for the first time. Together once more the clan returned to Kumogakure, with not one but two heads to present to the Raikage.
Now in modern times the clan holds a firm foothold in Kumogakure, of course most of the average citizens have a certain distaste for the clan due to their nature, but with that distaste comes fear, and with that fear comes a certain amount of respect... Unfortunately this respect does not translate into the inner workings of the clan, while they are unified the two sides are often embroiled in strife. Suffice to say both sides does not particularly get along with each other...
Kekkei Genkai Description: The Dākuchairudo are known, and feared, for the fact that they quite literally eat the heart of any who oppose them in the field of combat. They do this because they have the innate ability to draw in a certain power from eating another being's life source. While it is unknown why, the user gains a certain amount of cellular regeneration from the process, healing wounds they may have maintained in battle. The amount of healing depends upon the rank of the person who had been eaten.
Due to this they naturally have sharper Canines and incisors; however, there are no changes in the power of the jaw or any other structural changes in the mouth, or of the teeth. -- The changes allow the user, if the choose to do so, to use their teeth as D-Ranked weapons.
Effects per Ranks:
- Spoiler:
Genin - The user recovers from minor wounds, cuts and scratches (Injuries healed would otherwise cause minor issues to other Shinobi), seem to heal instantaneously. This also gives them a certain jolt of energy allowing them to get back into a fight, equivalent to 25% of their initial stamina.
Chuunin through SP Jounin - The user is able to heal from slightly more serious wounds, minor stab wounds from kunai, shuriken, or senbon are healed (Stab and slash wounds downward of two inches). Along with an energy jolt, equivalent to regaining 33% of their initial stamina, the user begins to feel a euphoric high, dopamine releases in the brain effectively killing minor pains the user may be experiencing, the pain killing and stamina effects last two posts.
Jounin & Anbu - The user is able to heal from fairly serious wounds, hairline fractures heal relatively quickly, slashes or stab wounds that don't hit vital organs (Penetration wounds downwards of four inches, slash wounds of three.) Also the user experiences a mass jolt in stamina, equivalent to regaining 66% of their initial stamina. The user further experiences the euphoria described in the previous rank, the pain killer effectively deadens most major pains, pain killing and stamina effects last three posts. Still hurts pretty damn bad when someone puts a Katana in your knee, belly, or anywhere of that sort.
Sannin - Kage (Or any other SS ranked being.) - The user is able to recover from serious blows that would otherwise fell an average enemy wounds to the liver, kidneys, and lungs can be healed (Full piercing injuries of organs are healed, slash wounds downward of 6 inches). Damage done to the brain, (Intracranial injuries), or heart (Piercing blows, etc.) cannot be healed. The user also experiences a mass jolt of stamina, equivalent to regaining the entirety of their stamina, as if they hadn't fought at all; along with the pain killing effects of the previous rank, both the stamina and pain killing effects lasting four posts at this point.
(Due to the Kekkei Genkei the user may not take Necrophobia as a negative SC.)
Notes upon the appearance of members, please read if applying:
- Spoiler:
- While the clan is a diverse group all members have a set of common physical/sensory characteristics.
The first and perhaps most evident is the color of all members' sclera (Normally considered to be the 'whites' of the eye), they are always a foggy yellow. It is unknown as to why this is.
The next is that when they begin to sweat or release endorphins, they typically smell of iron. (Often clan members mask the smell with heavy amounts of perfume.)
Finally, once any member of the clan reaches the age of adulthood (Which is when one graduates from the ninja academy.), they are required to get a tattoo of the clan symbol somewhere upon their body. Often they put the symbol on display in high visibility areas. Of course they are not required to do so.
The process of removing the heart and eating it is quite ritualistic, the user prays for the dead essentially apologizing for killing them, then the user must manually dig the heart from the chest before feasting upon it (The process taking two posts in total).
While they are completing the process they are left open to attack, if attacked they must restart the process. Thusly it is highly recommended to do this outside of combat, or with immediate back up.
Within the clan there have been situations where members have killed and eaten other members, in fact the situation is fairly common and is considered the most appropriate way of settling serious issues amongst members. After eating another member of the clan the user effectively doubles the minimum amount of threads they may go without having to eat a character again.
(Notes: The user must eat the heart of another RPC to gain these benefits. They can for all intensive purposes feed on NPCS, but any bonuses stated above would not go into effect. Anyone that is to be eaten must be approved for the act at least two weeks in advance of the act happening, to prevent characters being made just to be eaten, and of course the user has to be an active member.)
Drawbacks: The body of a Dākuchairudo is a strange thing, it seems that if the user does not eat once every 35 (70 if the user has eaten another clan member) IC threads (The user must keep track of said threads in their signature). If the user does not eat within that time frame they will begin to show signs of neurological decay. At 45 (90 if user has eaten another clan member) signs of cognitive dysfunction occurs, the user hears auditory hallucinations and will become quite paranoid. At 60 (120 if eaten another clan member) the user loses their grasp upon reality, they become feral, they kill and eat the nearest person and anymore they can get hold of. At all points beforehand the effects can be reversed, but once the user has become Feral nothing can be done for them, with the exception of killing them of course.
If the user opts for a third specialization they must choose Medical ninjutsu, as to further the effects of their regenerative properties.

Description: From a clinched position the user swings the enemy around until they are facing the enemy's back, the jutsu up to this point can be canceled by simply turning around , grabbing the person around the waist the user begins to lift them into the air. Once their feet are off the ground the user then slams them backward onto their neck and/or head. The strike in most cases will cause a momentary stun in the user upon the receiving end, it is more accurate to say they are put into a momentary mental fog as they are still able to fight back. With hands still clasped upon the enemy the user will then attempt to roll over them to gain better positioning on the ground, in the process it is extremely to be kicked off of the enemy or to even be reversed in put into poor position upon the ground.

Element: N/A
Range: N/A
Specialty: Genjutsu; must be a follower of the Kurai Torikkusutā path.
Duration: 1 post

Description: The premise of this Genjutsu is simple enough, triggered by the sound of the user via a high pitched whistle, the sound initiates an extremely shrill ringing in the target's ears, the ringing illicits a minor amount of pain. The pain is not enough to hinder the target's ability to fight, but it certainly proves to be an annoying distraction for the post.
