Clan:The Nehan (Clan of Nirvana)

[Doujutsu] Gekkougan (Twilight eye): The Gekkougan is a unique form of doujutsu thought to have existed in very minute to miniscule form within all living creatures. However those of the Nehan have an unnaturally developed application of the unique ability. For you see, in truth the Gekkougan is actually a far more matured and evolved Pineal gland. This organ is the strangest of the bodies 78 organs and is a by-product of the brain itself. Not even the clan's most educated understand the true nature of this organ but it is definately understood that the Nehan are gifted to be able to tap into the glands abilities at a far greater potential then any human could ever fathom.

To begin with, the pineal Gekkougan is much like the organ of an eye ball, except that tucked away in the brain it recieves no light...and there fore one does not "see" with this eye. However, all pineal glands have sensuality to certain chemical imbalances and information recieved via other sensory organs. Now, the Gekkougan itself is actually sensitive to the same thing's but more clearly defined so that through the growth of a child's life in the clan, they naturally experience paranoia, and anxiety psychosis episodes due to strange cognitive suggestions that frequent them from everyday interaction and thoughts. As they approach their tenth brithday they are constantly bombarded by increasing random episodes of hallucinations, phantom-flinching, Mis-interpretation of sounds and words, nightmares, daydreams, and dreams so real they often go into week long coma's...etc. These thing's give them a certain amount of strength that makes all Nehan prideful about being fearless.

Not only this, but somewhere around their tenth birthday a Nehan goes through a puberty change known as "The great awakening". One day...somewhere at the age of 10 (within the tenth year someday in about 85% of all cases- which is considered a "natural awakening"; others that awake later in life are considered "Lazy") a Nehan will go into one of there coma's, where they will enter a strange dream called the "eye of the storm". It is a dream or nightmare sometimes, but once done the Nehan will have to find his way through the soujourn that will bring about the full consciousness of his mind. Once he learns to leave the dream he is within, he is capable of seeing by tapping into the energies, and wavelengths of the world around by channeling chakra to his advanced gland.

The Gekkougan, once tapped into, will enable the wielder to "See" the world all around as if casting a strange murky luminescence through the black of their closed eye lids. It let's them see the world around them self with their eye's closed, and with training it also let's a Gekkougan hear the world around him even with his ear's plugged as well! it is a strange technique and once the eye within them is mastered they will be able to actually tap into other peoples pineal glands and distort their perception of the world in hellish way's! it can range to giving enemies, hallucinations, compulsion habits, and even damage their opponent mentally by causing certain memories to be imprinted on their mind's by ravenous force. The latter is and ability reserved for the most revered of the clan.
