Dameon woke up from his few hours of sleep that he was glad to finally get. It had been days since he had gotten more than two hours of nonstop sleep. He rose from his king sized four post cherry wood bed and slid out of the covers and onto the floor. It would probably seem odd to some but the fact he was finally able to at least get a couple of hours of sleep at night was because of his new secretary who had begun working at the strip club. After he had her thoroughly trained he was able to leave her by herself and complete some of the work that neither him nor Gin actually wanted to do. It was more than that though he could actually relate to her having grown up on the streets himself and before that living in the woods fighting off all kinds of threats. The brand on the back of his neck of the Shikyo clan reminded him of that every day, he was an outcast and not accepted where he had come from. He slowly made his way to the bathroom. Dameon looked into the mirror examining his chest that was covered in scars and visible easily no matter how much in shape he was. He gave a soft sigh as he stripped what was left of his clothes and walked into the soap stone shower and cranked the temperature up high. It was a good way for him to relax and prepare for the day.
After preparing himself in the bathroom he walked out completely naked and tossed on his usual clothes with the brown jacket and his pants and boots. He didn’t have to pull any ANBU guard duty today since they were finally starting to get new recruits in. It was at that point when he finished getting dressed and had stopped to listen that he realized things were unusually quiet in the house. He stuck his head through the door frame and looked left and right down the hall before running from one bedroom to the next. He made sure to stop in all the bathrooms, the kitchen, and the living rooms. He scratched back of his neck wondering where his new secretary had run off too so early in the morning. All he really did know was that she was not in the house. He ran through his house again making sure everything was where it should have been and it was more than that everything in the house was also spotless. To him it was like waking up in a completely different home, granted he never really did anything to make the house a mess it was still a little bizarre to him. He made sure to grab all of his equipment before he headed to the door and opened it slowly the light from outside nearly blinding his eyes. He disliked daytime a lot more night time and now he could already feel a headache begin.
He locked the house a little frustrated from his lack of sleep but he knew walking and solving his curiosity about where his newly hired maid had run off to would help reduce the tension that was slowly building up in his temples. He walked a few blocks keeping his eyes open for any sign of something strange going on while he looked for Miu. After about a half an hour of walking around aimlessly he decided to put more effort into it as he leapt on top of the buildings and began to sprint around the village checking out all the major areas. The first place he would check was the strip club to make sure she didn’t just go to work early to get everything ready for that night. Once he ruled out the strip club he tailed it to the market place; again no sign of her. Miu missing or doing something was fine but as a tracking ninja with a high level of skill he was growing frustrated that he couldn’t immediately pick up a trail. It would be difficult to locate someone with no actual written history or dwelling though he supposed at this point her hours was also his house. That knowledge though did very little to actually help him since he was the one looking for her. From there he would check the administration building, uptown, the cave, various warehouses, and finally back to the market place. He at least knew an hour later that there was no possible way for her to be on the actual main land of the village his next stop would be the surrounding smaller chain of island.
It had taken him almost another hour since all the chain islands were a decent distant apart from one another and despite how trained a ninja was running on water from the open sea was still a pain in the ass. You had to take into account the waves and adjust your chakra accordingly. Finally he had come to the last possible small island and he ran ashore with sweat dripping from his forehead. He wiped his brow with his sleeve and took a deep breath before he proceeded forward. Through the dense mist he could hear a couple voices faintly. He would slowly down his pace and hop into one of the surrounding tree’s that surrounded the large clearing from which the voices were coming from. He could definitely make out Miu’s voice. A soft sigh of relief came after having finally located her. She was training? He asked to himself having been completely unaware that she was also a graduate of the shinobi academy. It was at that point he realized they had even more in common than he had initially though, and he was already pretty sure they had a lot in common. He finally found himself a decent tree with a sturdy branch to sit on with clear visibility through the mist and to the two young shinobi. He would sit there and watch what was to happen and make sure nobody tried to kill one another.
