Kenji Chikara
D-rank
With every rattled sequence of taps his fingers initiated on the table the more on edge he became. Each time the tips of his fingers brushed the surface of the wooden table, they longed more to clinch the throat of an enemy. Such a thirst had never been as prevalent as it was right now. The Sennin was arrogant and selfish beyond belief, but he wasn't violent. Perhaps the notion that he would have to retire upon marriage snuffed out his inner love for... combat. Maybe it was more than just a job, more than just pattern, indeed, it might just be engraved in him. He talked with his fiancé on the issue before he left, and they haven't brought it up since. This was Kenji's first day back, neither of them wanted to spoil their reunion with a heated argument. But Kenji was prepared to make the case that his occupation wouldn't strain their relationship as much as Katy thought. Regardless of the outcome, it was clear to Kenji what he had to do to settle the storm. TRAIN.
He arrived at the familiar local, one that was home to many of his battles among comrades that have sculpted him into the shinobi of lore. He had on his back a bow and a quiver of 20 arrows. On his hip of course was his trusted Hane. He sat atop the high battle plateau, looking to the skies. After rising to his feet he took to some basic exercise. 50 One finger push ups. 200 One leg jumping jacks. Etc. After finishing the warm up, he unsheathed his weapon to get in a few basic Kenjutsu combos, making sure he didn't lose any of his precision during the violent and bloody war. The Jounin had never been asked to fight with such offense or zeal. In past, most of his duties called for stealth, and when in combat, the espionage expert usually ended fights in seconds, utilizing his flawless technique and speed. However, as stated earlier, in Kirigakure, he was asked to fight directly, putting his stamina and durability to the test... he barely passed. Kasfara would show up soon to help Kenji train. Spars between Kasfara and Kenji were always pointless, because neither ever take each other seriously.
