Charge past the conflict and attack the horsemen who are carrying the message to Iwagakure, capable of starting a war. The message is the details of Seven Bells, and evidence to prove a series of very high profile assassinations in the name of kirigakure, enough to spark full scale conflict between the two countries, even though kiri's military power has not been too damaged, they have been weakened by this skirmish.
The 3 messengers are 'agile' and 'frail' on horseback and are experts in all subspecs of Taijutsu and Bukijutsu, with both specialisations trained to B rank. They wear ANBU armour and upon their horse, they each have a B rank scythe, sword, crossbow with 30 B rank bolts which fire at 50mp/s, Spear, shield which reduces damage blocked by the shield by 1 rank and axe. The ninja possesses all Academy techniques and all their weapons are able to break bones and sever limbs. Making this conflict the duel of the century.
This mission is an ‘open’ repeatable thread with a limit of four participants. Should all thread participants complete the word-count within the time/turn limit and succeed in their objective the mission will result in a success, which may affect the plotline later! Failure to succeed may also have a negative effect! This mission can be taken by ninja of other ranks!
It was the most evil week of all. Enough blood was spilt to paint the seas red, and enough friends were killed to break the hearts of many families, but the chaos was close to its end. Dovy could feel it in his bones. He followed the combined trinity of powerful allies: Konoha, Kumo, and his native Kiri ninja. He ran with the speed of a cannon ball with his agile feet and heart that pumped like an industrial machine. As he scrutinized the position of his fellow ninja, sweat dripped off of the tips of his blonde hair and into the sides of his eyes. A true annoyance, but Dovy shook it off like a champ. No one could afford a single distraction at a time of such tension. Everyone was so eager to avenge every ninja, every citizen, and every leader who fell into the hands of death. More importantly, everyone knew it was time that some of the mightiest ninja would soon confront the one known as seven bells. Dovy only hoped that he would get the chance to watch that bastard get beaten alive.
As he ran forward, Dovy almost felt some satisfaction knowing that Kirigakure's fleet was destroyed. As if it was karma punishing them for the massive attack done on pirates, especially his family... more like his secret family. But they're gone now, and he was now a ninja of the Mist. Those days were over, and he had started anew without anyone's knowledge of his past. For their information, he was simply a kidnapped boy, unconscious, waiting to be rescued, and never once a pirate-born. Some guilt flooded though his emotions for feeling this grudge against his nation, and it interfered with his concentration. Stepping one foot at a time, without paying attention, there was a muffled shout nearby. "---y" ---Y!" But Dovy moved as if he were on autopilot. "D--Y, DOVY!"
"AHH!" was Dovy reaction, feeling like he was being attacked, but it was an officer who was trying to get his attention. Out of surprise, he accidentally bumped into the ninja who was right next to him. Afraid to apologize, he could see through his peripheral vision that this was a tall and intimidating figure. It was someone that Dovy did not wish to give eye contact to after such an embarrassing spaz-out, so he looked directly at the officer. "ARE YOU NOT DOVY HOZUKI?" He yelled at the young lad. "YES, SIR!" He responded quickly, as if it was going to make him sound more focused. "GET YOUR HEAD ON THE BATTLE FEILD, AND STOP FALLING ASLEEP. YOU HEAR ME?" He shouted at an intimidating volume. Dovy was frightened, and for the first time experiencing some psychological fear. He wasn't use to such intense action--especially on land. A new feeling awakened in his chest; it was one that he loved very much. Dovy's adrenaline began to finally kick in, and it was that incredible rush that reminded him why he was a fighter, to experience the thrill and high of adrenaline. This was all it took to get Dovy's head back in the game.
"There are horsemen on the right flank, one carries a message with the details of Seven Bells and evidence to prove he's a stone cold killer in the name of Kirigakure! Our platoon weakened them, so I need you and some reinforcements to take em' out and find the letter! DO YOU UNDERSTAND? I'll be assisting a unit with disabling traps so I'm counting on you! GO! GO!" He yelled with serious eyes stretching out of his face. "Loud and clear, SIR!" Dovy responded with a clenched fist, but deep down he felt nervous. I mean, he was impressed that he could even stay alive. It seems that to use speed and agility was the only strategy he had--Simply dodging attacks until higher-ranks came for the kill, but Dovy hoped to turn it around and actually do something for once.
"Alright you heard the man! I NEED REINFORCEMENTS. FOLLOW ME AND LETS GO!" Dovy shouted to the Genin and Chunnin nearby in his unit, crossing his fingers that at least one will back him up. Shifting the weight to the right and his center of gravity forward, Dovy leaped into the direction he needed to start looking for these horsemen.
