Day 6~
"Time for a new boost: Speed."
Training.
Simple, yet excruciating. Sounds hard, but really it's not. Still a little hard, though. Depends upon the work ethic he puts in. Jurou thought this, many times. As his father told him: "Quiet your mind; yet, calm the storm. Drown out all disturbance. Put your body in an eternal resting. Then when you are done resting, open your eyes." He remembered every word, every phrase, every sentence. His father and grandfather were true mentors when it came to Jurou's training, simply removing one's body from all else and stay in one place, relaxing the mind and stay true to what your movements predicts. The Osada were meant to be shinobi's that kept things at a mellow pace; both hot and cold (water at freezing temperature, 32 degrees Celsius.) That is why Boil Release was created, to let off steam when the emotion of anger is at a high rate. All of this talk and thinking about the past had Jurou in a state of mind; a state of mind that precedes to be stated, "If you train in silence, everything will commence perfectly." That was the life lesson he learned from his father and from his father' father: Calm your body and free your actions.
Still inside the Underground, relaxing from his last training, Jurou decided to do a more direct approach, away from Ninjutsu. Still needing chakra for this jutsu, he sighed, thinking that doing this training might take longer than expected. "Void Walk. Alright then." Taking a deep, consulting breath, he made sure his body was not tense, or having tight muscles. This was a speed boost, a jutsu that consults of high velocity and kinetic control; meaning the action takes place with the mind control. This might be a good idea, considering that in most fights, speed is the winner.
A wide area; big space. Diameter of 50+ meters with the radius of 25+ meters. A perfect spacing for this speed boost jutsu. Consoling chakra in his legs, he felt the chakra in his legs, condensing it solely in his thighs, knees, and shins. First and foremost, an opponent. Putting his two fingers together, he gathered his first opponent. "Fire Release: Fire Clone Technique." His Fire Clone arose from smoke, looking at Jurou while backing up away from him. The clone knew what Jurou wanted to do; testing out his new jutsu. The clone stood back at a long 35 meters, contemplating on the fact of how long the distance of the jutsu will be, but most importantly, how fast. Of course this jutsu would take only speed and finesse, but Jurou wanted to perfect the jutsu.
Here goes the First Try: There was a quick zoom. A flash; straight forward. A sudden burst of speed, extreme speed. Faster than anything that seemed like it. It was a little too much speed that Jurou lost control and ran into a cave wall. Face smash. Ouch. Little bleeding streaming his forehead at the moment. His clone was still standing in the same spot, hearing the thud and his master on the ground, facing upward. Running toward his master, he helped Jurou up and stood right back to the same spot. Jurou, on the other hand, walked back to his starting point. Feeling the numbing pain of his forehead ringing like church bells, he thought to himself quietly, "What was that Jurou? What was that?" Getting a feeling that his inner alternate ego is talking to him at the moment. Jurou gave a low, anticipating growl, indicating that this was not the time to playing games.
Here goes the Second Try: Focusing his mind on nothing else, he took a deep breath; exhaled slowly. Giving his body a small shake, his muscles relaxes, feeling a chill down his spine. This is his jutsu, a speed jutsu, to help him in many battles. Addressing the speed he has now, this would be 8x faster than the original. He concentrated his eye sight, fixing them on the Fire Clone. Closing his eyes, entering his mind frame, it was but a blur, sinking into darkness. Then, Empty. He opened his eyes, and darted his way towards his clone, only to end up right back there to the same hole. What was he thinking of now? Why is he messing up so badly on the first two tries? Maybe because of his concentration; focusing too much on the outcome than the actual jutsu. He needed to clear his head of all distractions, then maybe he can perfect the jutsu. He knew the perfect person to help him do so. The clone dispersed into flames as Jurou sat on the ground, thinking. How can he perfect this jutsu?
