Scene Three: A date with… candy? Let’s hope!
How long had it been? Hours maybe? Perhaps it had been less than that, she admittedly hadn’t the slightest idea. What was apparent, however, was that even now her heart was still racing. She’d done battle with some terrible monster out on the sea earlier today - a gigantic cephalopod that had been more than intent upon cutting some bloody swath through the land of the mist. Ironic that the people of the village had already stained the mists of their land blood red. Perhaps the monster was meant to be some metaphorical punishment, a statement made to show the people the error of their ways. That their murderous tentacles and brought this death upon them and only they were to blame… The monster now lie at the bottom of the sea, torn to bits by the combined power of two Sannin, a Special Jounin, and yes… a Genin.
Oomi’s lips curled into a wide smile as they often did, the memory of the battle playing over in her head. “That’ll teach’em to mess with Kiri.” She near mumbled under her breath as she finally came to a stop. Mahogany eyes search about the area only to present their user with a sudden realization; she was lost. The young Adechi had opted to escape from the Hospital once again after receiving only the minimal care. Tsuneo had brought her, not by her choice. She’d never have gone, despite the state of her arm. Hard headed, perhaps. More likely that she’d simply forget in about the thing or have died from blood loss. But, none of that is important to the moment at hand. Now, the youngster was out amongst the forests that surround Kirigakure, wandering quite aimlessly whether she’d admitted it to herself or not. Above the sun was already beginning to set, and failing orange rays of light barely skirted passed think foliage, reaching down for the fallen leaf littered ground. Her head was tilted slightly in some vein attempt to catch sight of the sun falling back behind the horizon, but she’d not be able to see it through the canopy, not clearly enough for it be meaningful. The girl cursed herself for having not stayed paid attention to where she was going. “That soooo sucks.” The girl sang as she turned her attention from the setting sun to the failing light of the forest. “Great, 100 ryo says I get lost…” Of course she was already lost and thusly had lost her own bet the moment she made it.
Luckily! There was still time before the Sun came tumbling down. Maybe with a little luck she’d find her way home, or perhaps it was better to simply stay out in the forest tonight. She still wasn’t nearly strong enough after all, the Kraken and the men she fought it with had proven that. There was still an incredible amount of room for growth. Oomi’s façade stiffened with determination and suddenly the whole idea of being lost was forgotten for the moment. She’d no doubt remember when it got dark and it became even harder to find her way home, but for now the only thing on the girls mind was training…
Legs were spread apart, the left taking a more rear position than the right which caused an ever so gentle twist in her body that had there been an opponent in front of her, her right shoulder would have been directed at their heart somewhat. Hands were balled into tight fists and held just beneath her chin, just within the width put between both legs. Neither of which were placed beyond shoulder width apart. Her stance had been taken. Her plan for this session of training? Why she’d attack the trees of the forest themselves until she was strong enough to knock them down with a single punch…. Unfortunately, it would be sometime before she was actually capable of doing that, but as far as Oomi was concerned she’ll have knocked down half the forest by morning.
