Mission Details

Of all the things the Kazekage can assign Shiki they had to assign him to go back to the academy where he spent 3 miserable years enduring taunting and bullying of other students. To him to revisit it was a nightmare, especially due to the fact that kids these days are so much ruder and have far less respect towards authority or their elders, this was going to be quite the annoying mission, however orders are orders and it had to be done regardless. With that begrudgingly Shiki shuffled down to the shinobi academy. With that at the door he was met up with a chunnin instructor who greeted him at the door and after introductions Shiki followed him into a classroom.

On the way to the classroom academy students were running amok in the hall and Shiki wondered if his class was this rambunctious and this wild. Shiki quietly followed the instructor into his class and as he wrote on the blackboard they were still screaming and laughing and making all sorts of noise, quite a headache. However the hall went deadly silent when the chunnin examiner cleared his throat and the students realized what was written on the blackboard in big bold letters, Written Test.

Shiki could not help but smirk at the results those two words had on the entire class. It was then that one of the students raised his hand and when the instructor granted him permission to speak he pointed to Shiki and asked what was a genin doing in their classroom. The instructor smiled at the student and responded that this was no normal written test and that Shiki who was on top of his class during his academy years was chosen to assist in giving the test to students. Shiki's debriefing did not give him details on the test so to Shiki this was new information to him. The instructor then turned to his table and handed Shiki a massive stack of papers and instructed him to pass it to all the students which he complied to without a word, just a nod.

After that was done Shiki returned to the instructor's podium and silently stood next to him, the students were instructed not to turn their exam over until instructed by Shiki himself. The instructor turned to Shiki and informed him that this written test can only be solved by chunnin and that the purpose of this test was to analyze his student's information gathering abilities and that it was Shiki's role to try to catch them gathering the information. Shiki nodded and he turned to the classroom and in his icy tone only said one word, "begin." The instructor motioned for Shiki to begin roaming the hall. With that Shiki began to wander around and soon enough one poor soul was blatantly cheating, Shiki was instructed to kick out anyone who was caught and have his paper ripped in front of the class, to him that gave him utmost pleasure, the look of horror on their faces was a joy.

Soon enough a few more students had their exam ripped right in front of them and were asked by Shiki to exit the hall. Little did they know that there were other chunnins in the hall who knew the answers. Shiki continued his rounds with vigilance, the power that he was given made him walk with pride, his usually cold emotionless face had a deep smirk on it. A few more students were caught now that their cheating methods have become more elaborate. All the while the instructor would yell out how much time was left, the students looked desperate, 1 girl even cried and asked if she could just leave. After the time elapsed Shiki gathered all the tests and stacked them on the teacher's desk. The instructor informed their students of the reason behind the test and how they had all failed and they needed to have been more clever in their methods of extraction and that a stranger's presence should not make them edgy, hence Shiki being the one administering the test and not their instructor.
