Chisaki
D-rank
Chisaki had heard much from her fellow shinobi about what had been happening over the seas. Chisaki hated not being able to do anything about the situation however. So when the opportunity for her to go and join in the fight arose, she practically jumped and the opportunity. Now, she was heading out of the village to go and find out what was happening over the sea. She left the village early in the morning, intending to set a constant speed in order to get there with energy to spare. Chisaki drummed her feet into the ground at a constant speed, making a odd rhythm strike itself into the ground as she went by. Birdsong filled the air around her as she continued her way down the road before her. Chisaki savored the song, for she knew it may be the last peaceful thing she heard before getting on a boat to a new land.
This was Chisaki's first major mission since she was promoted to a Special Jonin, so it would be a test of her own abilities and what she was truly capable off under stress. She was both nervous and timid at the opportunity in front of her. She had heard things were pretty bad in the Hidden Mist, but she knew she would be able to get through it if she kept her wits about her throughout the campaign. Chisaki watched the forest slowly thin out around her as she eventually passed into a wide open field. She breathed in the smells of fresh grass and off anything else she could smell. Chisaki smelled and continued on her way towards the port. From the port, Chisaki would catch a small ship to the Hidden Mist. She smiled and looked up at the sun. It was roughly the middle of the day, so she decided it was time to stop. Chisaki continued on her way until she managed to find a small tea shop. She ducked inside to see some merchants and small children, nothing to fearsome. Chisaki sighed and sat down at a table. A red-faced women walked up to her and asked what she would like, to which Chisaki replied "Tea please" The woman smiled and bustled off, and returned very quickly with a small pot of tea. Chisaki made for a strange sight amongst these common folk, a ninja all dressed up for battle, the children batted their big eyes at her in a star-struck way. Chisaki blushed and poured herself some tea and drank it. It was good she thought too herself. A while later she paid for the tea and continued on her way, after paying off course.
Chisaki kept up the same pace as earlier, and didn't seem to tire. The tea from the shop had rejuvenated her and she felt ready to continue at the same pace. The landscape continued to slip by Chisaki as she moved along the dirt road towards the port town. She smiled at her luck, it was a beautiful day. Tie slipped by as she entered a very day-dreamed filled state. The landscape continued to change until the sounds of waves met Chisaki's ears. She breathed out slightly before stopping. She looked around, before frowning slightly. It was time now, and she was nervous, but excited nevertheless. Chisaki sighed as she approached the boat that marked her passage to the Hidden Mist. The boat ride was fairly uneventful. Day slipped into night before Chisaki left the ship, finally at her destination. There was a lot going on around her. She breathed out once and began to find her way in the new country.
