Sanosuke

Sanosuke

D-rank
It was another rough night of Sanosuke attempting to sleep in the rough beds of the shinobi alliance's barracks. He was welcomed to sleep in the rough brambles they called mattress foam and the tiny sheets that were barely even a single layer of substance. It didn't warm up the Kumo jounin in anyway shape or form. Every night Sanosuke was left shivering to himself trying to get warm. As he shivered himself, Sanosuke let loose a stream of obsence languages in an attempt to get his mind off the cold. It would take him about an hour of shivering and swearing for Sanosuke to finally be too tired to fight off the spell that old sandmand has appied to him. He was sleeping, more or less soundly, when he was shooken away by a shinobi. Being in war taught Sanosuke several things; one was that the bar becomes a shinobi's best friend to comfort the horrible things seen in way, another was that the living quarters of allies was terrible, and finally shaking a shinobi that had just been fighting was a bad mistake. In a swift movement he got out the kunai that he had under his bed and aimed it right at the shinobi's neck. His vision was still disorientated from fatigue when he was awakened. So all he saw was a shadow shaking his body making his body move. With the kunai at the shinobi's neck, Sanosuke let his eyes finally adjust to the light. It was still nighttime, and there would't be any tiny rays of sunlight coming out from the trees lighting up the village hidden in the mist in a cloak of small tendrils of light. for hours The person Sanosuke had at knife point was a 15 year old boy who had the Konoha forehead protector on his head. The boy looked as though he had recently been promoted to chuunin and with the kunai to his neck, he looked close to soiling himself.

With a sigh, Sanosuke withdrew his kunai from the boy's neck and packed it away in his side pocket. He was sleeping in his black training pants and his usually skin tight long sleeved shirt that he would wear under his crimson over shirt. The shirt's sleeves were pulled up to the jounin's forearms and it's collar was so high that it was about to cover his face. His crimson shirt that he normally wore was hanging on the foot of his bed along with his sword. Crossing his arm looking annoyed that his sleep was interrupted, Sanosuke stared daggers at the chuunin furiously. "This better be good brat..." Sanosuke mumbled as he let out a loud yawn from his mouth. He began stretching his body. It was probably for yet another mission for him to do. He had already stopped a zombie invasion and saved the citizens of Kiri during the Seven Swordsmen ceremony. But it was so early for him to get up. If he had to get up and go on patrol duty one more time at this hour of the day, he would send the mission council of the Kiri alliance a message in the form of a chuunin messenger badly beaten by the sheathe of a sword and a half that belong to a certain pissed off Kumogakure shinobi.

"Umm..I was told that I need to give you this scroll for another mission from the alliance of the Kirigakure defense against Seven Bells!" the chuunin said loudly as though he was reading out a pledge that he was supposed to remember and recite perfectly for a superior that give the boy orders to do exactly that. Sanosuke rolled his eyes at that and moved to get himself back to bed so that he can sleep. Before Sanosuke could slip in a single foot into the bed, the boy continued. "I was also told that upon completion of this mission, you will be transferred into living quarters of a pre-furnished apartment close to the barracks during the duration of the war as a reward." That made Sanosuke stop in his tracks so that he can look at the boy with interest. His body stopped just before it collapsed on the bed to return to sleeping. Sanosuke whipped around to the chuunin and sped over to him. Sanosuke's eyes were shining. If this was a cartoon then Sanosuke could imagine that his eyes would be shining brightly and fake tears streaming down his face. He was so joyous that he would finally be able to sleep in a real bed from just completing this one mission.

"Okay let's have it." Sanosuke asked beckoning the scroll that he was sure the boy had on his person. It was standard customs for all messengers. The chuunin got the scroll out of his back pocket and handed it over to Sanosuke in a bowing fashion. Nodding, the boy disappeared thanks to the ability of the body flicker technique. With the boy gone, Sanosuke broke the seal from the scroll's body and began reading it's contents: "From what we've discovered Mizuru is a girl who enjoys strength and men who are strong, keeping her out of the fight may not be too hard due to her... sensual nature. Find her, and use whatever means necissary to... keep her occupied." A tick mark appeared over his head as he got to the final part of the scroll and was shaking in anger. So they wanted him, a well respected member of Kumogakure's finest to lower himself to seducing a general of Seven Bell's army? Static bounced around Sanosuke's body angerily and burnt the parchment that held the details of the mission on it. All there was in his hands were ashes. Calming himself, Sanosuke began to think. It was actually a good idea for them to exploit this one characteristic in the general that it might be able to work. So all he had to do is keep her occupied, that he could do. In a head on fight, Sanosuke wouldn't be sure that he can hold her off in a fight if it came to it. So that left the jounin with one option, the option his details made out for him to do, seduction. What a pain in the ass.. Sanosuke thought to himself as he got himself ready for the mission he was supposed to do for the good of mankind.

When he got his clothes ready, he got out an empty scroll that was given to him by the shinobi alliance in case he wanted ,for some reason, to write a diary about his time in war. This would be the first time Sanosuke had every touched the scroll ever since coming to Kiri. Getting out an ink well, Sanosuke wrote a quick note that was entitled to Mizuru. After writing the note down Sanosuke rolled up the scroll and put it in his back pocket of his pants. With his equipment on, Sanosuke went off into the woods to get the first part of his plan underway. This idea was stupid. Entirely stupid. How the hell could this possibly work; Sanosuke had no idea but it was the only thing he had. There was word that Mizuru was in the battlefield nearby Kiri. So he was sure that the general would get his note. Dashing in the woods by himself, Sanosuke ran. Thanks to the intel he was given, he was going away and in the opposite direction of Mizuru was fighting in. That was apart of his idiotic plan for a successful mission. He had to get the woman's attention first to pry her from the battle and have her attention directed right at him instead of fighting. When he stopped running in the woods, he smirked as he found his target. He was about a 7 kilos from Mizuru's reported location. It was at the early stages of nightfall as well, so Sanosuke doubted that she was still fighting. Her troops had to rest, and so did she. There was only so much a warrior could endure before he had to rest; that would be the reason why his plan would work.

Before him was a squad of Seven Bell's shinobi. They were on watch and still didn't know that Sanosuke was observing them. He was trying his best to stay hidden. From the look of the group it was 3 of them and not a single one of them was a sensory specialist. If they were then Sanosuke would have been found out a long time ago from his chakra signature, and just like that the element of surprise would have been stripped from him. The group looked to be heading back to headquarters but was stopped to treat the injured. There was a medic ninja whom was bandaging up a shinobi with a nasty cut wound on his arm. There was person in the squad that was a kunoichi with a single bow and arrow slung on her back. She was looking around to see if there was anyone trying to follow them. No doubt they were trying to launch a surprise attack on Kiri but met a patrol group and intercepted them. Unfortunately they were the victors of the skirmish, but they didn't get away unscathed. They were tired and weak while Sanosuke was far more rested and stronger than them. This wouldn't take long.

Getting his sword out, Sanosuke swooped down from the branch at fast speeds. It was alike a shadow swooping in on its pray in a single instant. There was nothing quite like it as Sanosuke came down swiftly to end the life of the woman on guard. With a devistating wound to her arm, the woman looked in shock. She barely could believe what was happening to her. Blood covered the ground as she was holding the wound to her chest. If she was more rested, then she would have easily be able to counter the strike. Too bad for her that she was ambushed just after she and the remaining of troop was attacked by Sanosuke. Before she could fight anymore, Sanosuke dashed at her and plunge her sword into her jugular. The woman evaded it by diving under the  stab and onto the ground. She was trying to get a kunai to stab at Sanosuke's Achilles's tendon to make him fall to the ground, but the Kumogakure jounin read the attack and turned around swiftly and guided his foot. The boot went over and stomped on her chest to pin her to the ground to prohibit her from moving any farther. With ease, Sanosuke slid his sword into the woman's throat killing her instantly.

Looking back, Sanosuke saw that the man that was getting bandaged stood up to try and do something about what was happening. This was too much of a one sided fight and Sanosuke would be sure that these shinobi realized that. The man roared and tried his best to run at jounin to run him over. With skillful reflexes, Sanosuke retracted a kunai from one of his chains that hung over his pants and tossed it at the man swiftly. The projectile was moving at fast speeds so by the time the man saw what was happening, it was too late. The knife slammed into his chest and sunk down to his heart killing him on impact. With a large drop of the body, the huge man dropped to the ground dead with his chest to the ground so the blade that Sanosuke through at him sunk even deeper.

Finally there was the medic. Walking over to him calmly, Sanosuke smirked. He flashed his sword around in a show of blood. With each swipe blood dabbled on the medical ninja's skin. His face was painted with blood as he was frozen in fear. He didn't run nor did he attempt to fight back. He was a medical ninja and he wasn't combat ready. With his comrades dead, the medical ninja was just a sitting duck. When he got close enough, Sanosuke plunged his sword deep in the foot of the medical ninja's. The man screamed in pain as blood was oozing from the wound. "Look at me, stop your screaming right now!" Sanosuke barked as he twisted his sword in the man's foot cruely to silence him. It worked as the man stiffled down his screams of pain and made eye contact with the jounin of the clouds. With their eyes meeting, Sanosuke smirked and got out the scroll he written in the barracks for Mizuru and gave it to the medical ninja he had trapped. "This here is a message to Mizuru. Tell no one of this message. You are to meet up with her and tell her exactly what hapened here. Do you understand?" Sanosuke asked the man turning his blade in the man's foot more savagely until he got the man's to answer his question. "Good boy. Now I don't think I have to explain what will happen if you double cross me, do I?" Turning his blade again, the man screamed in pain.

"NO!!!" he screamed out in the forest.

With a nod, Sanosuke retracted his sword from the man's foot and sheath his blade. "You have an hour to get that to her or else I will find you and kill you myself." Sanosuke said calmly before dismissing the medical ninja who used the body flicker technique to get away. Now he was alone in Kiri territory surrounded  by dead bodies. Well that was the first part of his plan completed. What was written inside the scroll was....

Dear Mizuru, I hope you liked my message. I wanted to get your attention and that was the only way I could think of. Let's have some fun tonight. I don't think you've ever experience what the men from the cloud have to offer. Meet me in the cabin at the edge of the northern west shore of Mizu no Kuni. Oh and P.S. Come by yourself, I want you to myself ;)

It was the only thing he could think of to get the general's attention. With that he made off to the meeting place of Seven Bell's general. It was close to showtime.
