Kidzukai had been doing pull ups in the Hyuga clans training room when he heard the shouting from outside. It wasn't the shouting of panic or hysteria. No, not even angry shouting. Outside, standing in the center of the Hyuga plaza, the area where normally shinobi outside of the Hyuga lineage dared not wander, was a single young nin, shouting for a Hyuga to come out and meet him.

Knowing the disposition about trespassers of his superiors and his relatives, Kid shook his head and did a quick facepalm. Then pulled on a shirt and his typical white Hyuga robes and headed out to the place to greet the visitor before he caused trouble for himself.

As the wind blew his hair and the leaves scattered about it was scenic really, how the Hyuga in all his kindness presented himself to the Nin

"How may I help you sir?" Inquired Kidzukai gently.

Kid smiled at the nin who had now identified himself as Shizuo Uzumaki. The boy was for some reason stricken aghast by the gentle demeanor Kidzukai was partial to. It was the only way he had ever been. A core of steel, but an external composure of a leaf blowing gently in the breeze.  

The boy inquired of him several things after introducing himself playfully. He was establishing a team of nin to take responsibility of keeping Konoha safe both inside and out. Not only did this seem like a good idea to Kid, he was absolutely sure and obligated to partake in it. These goals were precisely coherent with Kids goals and aspirations. To be the defender of his land that he loved so. 

It was really amazing to him though, despite him believing himself to be one of few Konoha youth already setting goals for defending the village in his future, he was not alone at all. This genin was also willing to establish a lasting group to do so. Sort of like the Guardian Shinobi Twelve of the past.

Kidzukai offered forth a firm handshake and said "My name..is Kidzukai Hyuga, and I would be honored to join this group."

For the first time Shizuo displayed a bit of higher intelligence, abandoning his slang and rambunctiousness and delivering a warm welcome to the group to Kidzukai. Kid grinned. Things were going to progress for him now. He had already taken down a B rank mission with Oshiki Sensei. He knew the horror the world had to offer, and knew he would be the light to destroy it all. To end the horror, the pain, the suffering. And with his comrades in the leaf, it was now more even more so possible. 

"Myself?" Inquired Kidzukai to the question Shizuo had projected toward him.
"I'm not much to speak of. I'm no tragic nin with a broken home, nor am I perfect or without fault. My father and grandfather worked diligently to instill the positive values needed into my mind. My mother worked to make me a gentleman. Whether they succeeded or not would be up to your judgement. My grandfather passed slightly before I was able to graduate the academy. Now I keep him in my heart as a drive to continue my path and possibly keep him alive in my mind as a constant reminder of what our village stands for. And what I stand to protect. No matter what happens in my life, I will sooner destroy myself before I would ever go corrupt. I approach my enemies first with arms open, as a chance. A possibility for them to save themselves from the cold sting of death. I don't wish to kill. Only to rid the world of evil."
