Kagome~

Kagome~

D-rank
Original Mission here

As a lone female silhouette eased silently about, with the bleeding sun cascading away in the background, emanations of radiance that had been so very vibrant in antecedence, now withered and left dusky appendages of light. The said desolate threads of incandescent essences, possessed a faintly auriferous hue that captured the deep russet resplendence, of Yamamoto Kagome's magnificent crimson pigmentation, due to the sun of course. All that meant was that despite her best efforts to blend seamlessly into the shadows, the fading aubade was not quite ready to allow her to meld with such ease and precision.

Then again, at least Miss Ninaro might be able to distinguish her from the surroundings better. Just recently the elderly woman had sought her out and inquired if she wanted to meet her and help with a few chores, amd it was just Ninaro's luck that Kagome had agreed. And this is where the young kunoichi was headed.

Miss Ninaro was in a sense, miserable. Miserable because she was starting to become too old to do things herself. Miserable because she was forced to realize that she needed help around the cozy little place that she called home. Miserable because she was now being a burden upon another young soul, a soul who more than likely had better things to do. Miserable because now she would have to face that individual. What if Kagome had changed her mind? Shaking the access drops of ink off of her pen the old woman finished up writting out her list of chores and set it at the door for whenever Kagome came.

Rising up out of her chair She slowly but surely fetched one her dog's many collers and attacted the lead to the excited little thing. She then opened the front door hoping to see Kagome soon. Flicking her gaze upward as thunder rolled ominously overhead far in the distance, old lady Ninaro watched silently as lighting burst across the heavens, a jagged white scar cutting through the smooth ashen expanse of the sky. Not giving it any thought, she continued on her look out, searching for a brown haired girl scent among the village.

It was then that Kagome finally arrived that Miss Ninaro exhaled a breath she never knew she had withdrawn. Without wasting much time she ushered the Yamamoto inside. "Oh it is so good to see you my dear!" She exclaimed whilst handing over the list of chores before heading towards a room that seemed to be a bedroom. "There is your list of things to do. I'm just going to take a nap, but I trust that you will be done before the end of the day?" "Oh, of course" Kagome reassured before watching the woman dissapeare. Unraveling the piece of paper she read it's content before giving a nod of her head.

Considering she were already at Ninaro's house, she would start by feeding the cat and doing a bit of cleaning. Heading into the kitchen she siftted through several cabinets and drawers and closets before finally coming across the cat food. Standing over the bowl Kagome filled it to the rim and put the food away before exiting the kitchen and watching the alabaster feline consume it's meal. The rest of her afternoon was then filled with cleaning, washing, drying and folding clothes, sweeping several rooms and dusting a few of the nicely placed figurines sitting upon shelves.

By the time she had finished about three hours had elapsed and that left just enough time to run to the local market. Tossing a quick glance over her shoulder Kagome whistled for the the dog, a black and white Rat Terrier by the look of it. Grabbing the leash and a stack of money Ninaro left on the counter, she decided to walk the dog there since she had not done so and headed quicking towards her destination. The open, outside market.

Creeping to the front of the crowd with her delicate ears perked so that she might catch every little bit of news, the inexplicably beautiful small and thin kunoichi struggled to see. It was times like this she wished she were much taller...but really, what could she do about it? Slipping gracefully through the crowd (with dog in tow) and hoping that no one stomped on her petite feet-something that happened far too often-Kagome just managed to keep her wits about her as she was jostled repetitively from all angles. Did no one have the thought to stop bumping into her?! Thankfully the dog was okay.

Sighing with relief as she arrived near the very front clump of merchants the youthful femme smiled radiantly, eyes shining with hope and ambition. Stepping forward she called out the things she needed while taking another careful look at her list. "Um...can I get four apples, eleven sweet potatoes, three tomatoes, three boxes of green tea and two packs of that instant ramen over there please?" Murmured Kagome in her usual honey laden voice. Why of course young lady, that'll be 400 ryo!" The merchant grinned as she bagged the now rather heavy items for her. Outstretching a slender hand Kagome placed the amount of currency within his hand and took the food in it's place.

Trudging along to the next stall she was surprised to find that held just what she needed next. Sunflower and rose seeds and amazingly a little section of assorted fragrences. Grabbing the small packets off seeds and one bottle of perfume she handed them to the woman running the stall, smiling politely as she did so and repeated the same purchase process. Thank you! Come again! Kagome waved silently in response and continued on her journey to an actual store this time. The last item on the list was one she hoped she would not have to purchase, however this was not about her, it was about her client.

Tying the terrier to a post she quickly walked inside. Not wanting to leave the dog alone for much too long Kagome zipped and zoomed down the multitude of isles before comibg across the last item on the list. Two pairs if undergarments of Miss Ninaro. For a while she just stood there, clutching the bag that contained various vegetables, fruit and other things. Finally mustering up her courage Kagome grabbed the underware and headed towards the register. ...I...I would like to buy these. The man never said anything, save for the look he gave her, that said plenty. Frowning she placed the money in his hand and exited the building, untying the dog and walking all the way back to Miss Ninaro's house.

Luckily, upon her arrival, Ninaro was just waking up . A smile spread across her face, happy to see all of her assignments completed within a timely manner.
