Arena:

Hanbei from the first exam had some time to rest before the second round, he looked up at the pairings, it seemed that he was to head to an area which was called the Zen Garden. Hanbei could only hope that he was not going to receive one of the crippling downsides which he knew there was the potential of him receiving one of the crippling downsides on his match, but it seemed that there was only one which was favourable to his situation. Once he showed up to the arena at the allotted time, just enough time away to see a battle come to its end, he could feel something at the pit of his stomach, as his nerves began to act up.

The young boy entered the arena having to limit all of his equipment down to one measly needle. Hanbei was gobsmacked to have his needles removed from him, leaving nothing but one in its pouch. But, one needle was all he needed to win, Hanbei was a master of acupuncture and when it came to it, he could place it in a nerve cluster on his opponent which could critically injure or even cause heart problems at a later date. He still wore his long multi layered silk clothing which covered almost his entire body, the only bare skin which could be seen on his body was from the neck up, and even then the overly feminine Genin was prepared for the up and coming fight, keeping the single needle hidden up his sleeve which no-one. saw from the angle of which he stood.

Entering the Arena as the other two left, he thought that this would be a good opportunity to flex his skills. Looking up at one of the pillars, Hanbei ran up and with a single running bound stepped up and took the high ground on its top before his opponent entered the arena. The High ground on the top of his pillar was his best friend in this fight. His opponent would have to either attempt to strike him off, wasting their chakra, or they would have to run up or jump up and leave themselves open for Hanbei's techniques. He had no idea the stature of his opponent, but the fifteen year old looked to and for the entry point the other contestant would enter. As soon as they were given the go to fight, all hell was going to break loose.

Occ: sorry the words aren't colored but my tablet won't let me do it for some old reason sorry :( By the way Ayas mute she can't talk Leo does that for them. Lastly I cant spoil it seems so I'll put the jutsus I used at the bottom.

"It's truly a dark day when two comrades from the same village must fight."

Aya grinned at her partner as he shook his head smiling.  They both didn't really care who their opponent was, neither of them were holding back.

"So Aya what arena are we going to" he said nodding his head towards the posted list of matches.

Turning her eyes from him she scanned the Brackets till she found it and placed her finger on their spot. She and Leo were to report to Arena Two to fight Hanbei Guanyin another Kumo Ninja. Signaling for him to follow her, both made their way to the arena passing other Genin some who they might meet later on.

A few moments later, Aya and Leo found what seemed more of a place of relaxation than a Area for serious combat.

"They used a Zen Garden as one of the arenas thats unusual."

Aya nodded her head in agreement, as Leo walked ahead of her stopping in front of one the stone pillars. He laughed as he looked up at the little boy on top causally sitting as if it were completely normal. Aya paid no mind to his nonsense and instead placed her brass knuckle on making sure it was nice and secure as she rubbed the ends on her dress.

She looked up and calmly waved at the Guanyin boy before calling Leo over to get out the way. "That was a smart move for him to do" she thought. Any other person would have had trouble getting to him, too bad she wasn't one. If this fight was going to be a worthy challenge he was going to have to make it much more difficult. Any thing less was just insulting to her honestly.

"Aya" Leo walking towards her "Doesn't that last name sound familiar to you."

He was right it did sound like she had heard it before. Than she snapped her fingers when she remembered exactly where. When they were in Iwa Akio-san mentioned a friend of hers was part of that clan. They were widely known for their use medical ninjutsu in combat. "Thank goodness I have some knowledge of his fighting skills."
It didn't help much, but it was better than nothing.

Dusting herself off she got into defense with Leo by her side as they were given the order to start. Signaling to go he happily made his way to the Samurai trees relaxing as he watched his owner.  After she bade sure he was okay she turned back to the pillars. Each one of them stood in between the hearts of the raked sand around them. Going up to one she closely examined it before taking her foot and giving it a high kick. It didn't break, but the kick was strong enough to weaken it to where cracks were showing.

Deciding her final plan she quickly ran around the arena making sure to the same to each one closest to Hanbei. While she did this she made sure to stay out of his range so as not to be hurt by any surprise attack.  When she was done Aya made her finally move.  With one turn her body starting spinning. It was slow at first till it gained speed too the point all you could see was a black tornado heading to the first pillar. It missed and turned to the next one hitting it directly and it tipped over completely crashing down into the one closest to it on the left. The tornado than headed right breaking another pillar.  Than with a sloppy turn it headed onto the young boy's pillar with a powerful blast of power.

It shook slightly before the place where Aya had kicked shattered causing the pillar to fall. Leo was near by watching his partner as she stood father away still spinning waiting for the next chance to use her jutsu. Leo knew the only hand was already up and heading to the boy waiting to attack as well. A small chuckle came from him as he watched the damage around the arena. The room was covered in white smoke clearing up, and the crushed stone pillars he jumped over were truly a show of Aya's natural strength. Now he had to show everyone he what could bring too.
(Jutsu used by Aya was piercing fang and weapons were her brass knuckle and her dog ninken is Leo.)

Hanbei watched as she Span around the room shattering pillar after pillar, shattering each of them, though Hanbei noted with how she was moving that debris was still being able to penetrate the fang over fang technique... It had no defensive qualities, which meant all Hanbei needed was a single shot. Each of the pillars she shattered through were to stop Hanbei having his defensive location, though as she had kicked his one, it seemed it had been weakened, which meant that she was not able to penetrate the stone on her own, and it would take multiple strikes. This girl was at a severe disadvantage.

Hanbei also noted that the skill she was using was unable to turn as swiftly as she would like. So, Hanbei stood, turning to watch her and preparing a jutsu under his long silk sleeves which rolled over his hands. Watching her, and noting her angle preparing for his attack with every fibre of himself. She shattered the first two pillars with astounding force for a Genin, it was true. But then she finally turned the jutsu in his direction, and in so doing proceeded to meter by meter seal the win in Hanbei's favour. He kept the dog in his peripheral vision, though he felt that the dog would likely be a no factor in this fight. Clenching his fists it was almost time.

Moulding his chakra and flowing Fuuton through it he was preparing an attack which she would not see coming. Literally, but as soon as her angle was secured, hanbei flourished his hands with his long awaited and prepared jutsu as she had taken so much time to break the other pillars one by one. From his sleeves shredding his clothing three dozen (36) B rank needles burst out at rocketing speeds, their speed amplified by the increadibly potency of the Guanyin needle practise and each of them empowered with the powerful fuuton nature making them even faster.

The thirty six needles fired out in a wide shotgun pattern to meet with her head on spreading out in a 2m radius around her, and with the sheer number of needles it was still a dense attack. And with the fang over fan ability being unable to turn well, as Hanbei had observed, it created a sum of forward momentum, which even should she lower the attack would still be tracing her forward into hanbei's spray of deadly needles. Each of them with the power to penetrate her jutsu, as well as her skin and even fracture her bone on impact. But there were even more forces at hanbei's advantage. Her forward momentum, her inability to steer violently, The combined speed of her direction as well as Hanbei's combined with the buff jutsu, her lack of equipment as well as her ability's defenceless demeanour and finally that Hanbei had widened the attack so drastically it would be almost impossible to avoid. She was wide open for this attack.

It was a trap. And she'd fallen right into it...

Then there was the rock face. Hitting something from a direction at a low angle often caused the object to fall in the direction of the cause. Meaning that should the needles penetrate her, and weaken the jutsu enough so where a full powered jutsu would pass through and turn the pillar to rubble, her lower power variant would more than likey crash into it, stopping her, and then falling in her direction. Hanbei did not want to hurt anyone, but he had to steel his nerves and brace as the pillar should his planned events come to pass would drop in her direction. Should the pillar fall, he would ride it down and roll out on impact, otherwise he would stay standing on the tip and ready another attack.

She had to come up to him, he had the high ground, but he did not foresee a dodge coming from his first assault, she would have to react, stop her jutsu, and move 2 meters in the span of a heartbeat to completely avoid the technique.

It was clear that moment on that Aya wasn't going to win. He had trapped her and she had to admit that his skills were above her own. So as that needles hit she held no hate or dislike towards hanbei only admiration for such a talented person. As the crowd looked down at her as the needles rained down and sanked into her flesh her screams of pain could be heard around the arena she felt and to the ground and her body was taken away. The winner was declared and aya had to agree with it as she passed out. Her last thoughts were simple "one day I'll surpass him and become a winner too."

Hanbei watched in horror as the needles hit her head on, his face turned pale and ghost like as she hit the ground and began to scream and wail. He could not believe his eyes, and he was not prepared mentally for the effect of hitting a fast moving opponent like that. rushing down with the intention of helping to the best of his ability until the other ninja got here to heal her in a more apt means, he drew out the full strength of the dharma needle that he could at the time, the shining and shimmering blue needle which healed what it penetrated without loking violent. Panic crossed the young boy's face as he leapt down and placed the needle to her chest, ensuring that any vital areas would be healed with the application of the needle. healing her 9" in every direction easily allocating itself to over her entire Toreso .

Looking over her, and her laboured breathing, the soothing blue needle sunk into the wound, pushing out the needles which were still stuck into her and even healing the bone fractures, or beginning to. Hanbei's eyes were welling up with tears as the match was already over, he almost could not contain himself, hoping that she was okay, he was babbling to himself, trying to talk himself through healing her without falling into complete panic, there was blood, scattered across the ground, and with his administration of care, he was pretty sure there would be no lasting damage.

oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hit you that hard.

Hanbei squeaked as he knelt over her, offering her water or any other help. He was not able to yet heal her arms or her legs, he simply did not have the skills, though, he did have his last needle. Taking it, and dotting her forehead with the means of accupuncture he would be able to take away some of the pain and stimulate her bodie's own natural healing process and the production of endorphins and serotonin which would hopefully help numb the pain, and make her feel a little better, pricking her meridians one by one around her forehead painlessly he would tend to her until the proctor jumped down and helped out.

After the fight Hanbei would walk with them to ensure she was okay, feeling incredibly guilty about the entire ordeal, he simply could not live with himself if there was any lasting pain or injury to the ninja, and he felt terrible. His head bowed in shame, as the tears still fell from his eyes freely, though he had the ability to stand tall and put on a brave face, he still had an air and mentality of childlike innocence to him. He wanted to win, but he now realised that actual fights were nothing like the training he had done at home, or even the sparring. It was so easy to simple throw a needle, it was like you weren't responsible for what happens afterwards.

But now he knew he was wrong, and it had hit the young boy harder than many would have expected.
