It was a slightly chilly day in Iwa and everyone was bundled up. For Akio it was a relief from the hot summer weather that they had been having for the past few weeks. She couldn't help but think about the sparring match she had with a follow genin Saiyuki a few days ago as she made her way to the Iwa library. I'll pay her a visit after I'm done with my mission Akio thought. Maybe I'll even bring a couple of sweets for us to enjoy.
Finally she finished making her way to the library and stepped in. Akio loved the library as a little girl she would go and enjoy the many books it had to offer. She loved smell of the new books and the sight of little kids in groups enjoying them.

Well I better start on my mission Akio thought. She had already been briefed on her mission and she went to start on fixing the mess of books that needed to be shelved.

Sai woke up this morning with a big headache since the alarmclock went off. She was all grumpy the whole morning until she saw her little brother. Saiyuki fed him and gave him a kiss on his fore head before heading back up stairs to go change and take a shower. The white haired girl lazily went opto the stairs and almost crawled up and into the bathroom. The unclothed her and turned the water on. At first a cold stream came but after ten seconds the heat began to come. Saiyuki always takes morning showers. It really wakes her up. The drops of water fell on her face when she looked up to the ceiling, relaxing before her last mission as Genin starts. Then her eyes widened and realized this was her last mission as a Genin. Rumor has it that Akio sould be there to do the same mission. Sai looked at the clock and saw that she must be at the library by now. The white haired girl rushed out of the cabin, falling over a splash of water. She rubbed her chin, that was where she fell on. Her hands grabbed the sink to pull herself up.

Sai went to the closet when she was done with her hair and drying her body. She picked out the same clothing as usual, her tanktop with hot-pants and pilot hat. She rand down stairs and quickly grabbed an apple to eat on the way to the mission.

Saiyuki saw her friend Akio walking in the building. "Hey, Akio!" Sai said while running toward her buddy. Saiyuki asked if she was doing the book mission too.

Akio was suprised to see Saiyuki at the library too. Sai-chan! She waved to the girl as she came running up to meet her. Are you doing this mission too Sai asked. Yeah I was just going to start on it I'm happy that your here too. Yes she said this is my last mission before ranking up. After that the girls walked in and started on their mission. They agreed on starting with cleaning the front so that they could keep a eye on the front desk. While they worked Saiyuki didn't waste time starting with some small chatter between them but Akio couldn't focus she was little sad knowing that all of her friends were ranking up and busy becoming better ninja. I'm still a genin that hasn't accomplish much. Akio felt as if she wouldn't achieve her dreams to be like her mother and make her clan and family proud if she kept going at the rate she was now. What was she going to do?

So this they were doing the same mission. Sai grinned as walked inside the building with her friend, thinking about the spar. It was a good fight and they became friends. Thus the mission its purpose had worked. Hopefully this mission will also work out. Saiyuki was never good in quiet places since is has such a loud personality. "So yeah this is my last duty as Genin! Quite awesome huh!" Sai bragged a bit but then added a few words to the conversation again, "But hey, i will still be friends with you and we will become stronger together, Akio! That is a pinky promise!" the white haired girl reached out her hand and held her pinky up. She nodded as to say that Akio had to do the same as a promise. They would indeed get stronger together. No matter how much difference there is between their ranks. They will stay friend for a life time.

"So... I kinda forgot the mission... Do you have the scroll with you? So one of us could read it out loud?" Saiyuki asked since she indeed had forgotten what she had ro do here. Libraries really messed with the Kobayashi's mind. They always has such serious atmosphere in them ans Sai didn't like seriousness.

Akio was happy when Saiyuki her made their pinky promise it made her so happy. Thanks Yuki-chan.
"So... I kinda forgot the mission... Do you have the scroll with you? So one of us could read it out loud?" Don't worry I forgot the scroll coming out the house this morning but i know what we have to do. Basely all we have to do is continue on what we're doing with the books then we have to clean in here a bit. Also Sai don't damage any of the books. Akio loved her new friend but she knew how much energy the young girl had stored in her. she tell just being in this library was too much for her. Sai would rather have been exploring around Iwa then stuck in a library. Don't worry when we're done you and I can go get some sweets from my father's shop. My sister's working there today I'm sure they will like to meet you. Saiyuki looked so happy at when she heard akio say that that she started working so fast akio could barely keep up with the small girl. Honestly she couldn't wait to leave to she loved books but she didn't like sitting in one place too long either. I guess roaming the streets of Iwa at a young age could do that to you too. Akio couldn't help but wonder if Saiyuki had any family members that she was living with. Akio didn't know that much about her friend she should ask.

"Candy?" It was like a magic word to Saiyuki. She would do everything to get some sugar. Her eyes widened when she heard it right. Sai dived into a pile of books and started ordering them from A to Z. Then the girl would run around to place them between the right books. A few minutes passed and Saiyuki already had placed the pile on books on the right place. She was tired but it was worth it. Saiyuki took out her bottle of water and drank some. "Ahh... Water feels so great after working..." Saiyuki enjoyed every drop of water until the bottle was empty. "Let us take a pause... Hell we almlst finished cleaning the books and after the break we can do the other cleaning?" the Kobayashi suggested.

Ok Akio said. She was happy with taking a break. all this work was making her tried and she was hoping to talk to Saiyuki some more. Yuki and Ai then talked about themselves getting to know each other. So Sai who are some of your family members ?

While Sai was eating her apples the two walked out of the building taking some fresh air. Sai liked going outside very much, she liked thecfreshness in the air and all those sounds. Akio then asked if the girl had any family members. "Uh, I do. A mother and a father of course and then my little brother who is born blind. I promised to protect him from everything. He is fragile and small. My father is a shinobi as well. He is a Jounin. About my mother she just takes care of my lil bro when i am away and also takes care of the house." Sai explained while taking bites of the apples. After one big bite Sai asked if the girl had any family members.

Yes you'll met them later my father and my sister. My mother died in child birth so that left me to take care of them sadly. Saiyuki gave the girl the a genuine sorry and told her she felt bad about what happened. It's okay she died happy. She was a anbu so her body was frail from all the years of fighting. The two girls then finished their mission and left to her father's shop with a new understanding of each other.

"I think we finished yes." Saiyuki said while yawning since it was a long day of cleaning books. She didn't like cleaning but a mission is a mission and it had to be done. Besides now she was a Chuunin. Her heart skipped a beat shencshe realized it. She was a real Chuunin. Sai jumped in the air and ran back outside. "One step closer to Kage, Akio! I am one step closer to Kage!" Saiyuki ran around and said goodbye while doing that. "I am going to tell by family, Akio! See ya soon!" The exited girl rushed back home to tell the news.
