Sero sat alone in the clearing outside of Kiri. Yes it was dangerous to do this but at his level. Only a fool would attack him. He was the second in line power wise for the Osada clan. And similarly placed in power for all of Kiri. At the moment he was the head of the beast. His cold grey eye's stare out as if perceiving past the mist more then the 40 paces it allowed. He had sincerely missed the Constant mist that cloaked the village. Leaving it had been like leaving a part of himself behind. But in the short time he was gone he had gained an obscene amount of power in comparison to the pathetic child that left for the exams. The file on him indicated he was a mere genin. It was cute really being so underestimated. Still he was sitting cross legged just outside the grave yard. He would breathe in the scent of the fresh air and clear his mind. It smelled damp. How much blood had been spilled on these lands only to be washed away with the cold Mist. He smiles slightly to himself and holds out his hands on each knee palm up. Cold, it was a sensation he was about to forfeit. He couldn't claim he would miss it really. In order to be the perfect soldier one needed the perfect body. Being immune to temperature differences was vastly important.

Still he begins to contemplate again as he focuses the sensation of fire into the Jutsu. It was meant to bring warmth to him but still. Changing the natural flow of things in such a way was incredibly dangerous. That was of course why he would not be alone. after all having a moving assistant in training made things more complicated and thus far easier. So he had invited the young Uzumaki Bonreu. The boy had proved capable on the way there and had a unique ability he intended to exploit eventually. Those chains had instantly halted two people with out much effort. To be able to do that would indeed benefit him in a fight. However his studies had led him to believe it was something in the blood line that he could not obtain. It frustrated him slightly but A tool one could not wield was not useless exactly. If you could command the person who wielded the tool then the results where still the same.

Still the message he had sent might have been a tad bit dramatic. He had sent a message with the fastest runner among the workers with a large package. The runner had been directed to find Bonreu. Genin rank Uzumaki and deliver the large package to him with a message. Word for word straight to the person. So the young man had ran as fast as his legs could carry straight to Bonreu. Standing there panting and clutching the package to his chest he takes a moment to catch his breath. the lanky man with sandy blonde hair hands the large package to Bonreu and then spoke as if something had been memorized.

"Osada Sero requests your immediate presence within the grave yard. This is optional however if you refuse it may be considered an insult turning down training from an Osada and a Sannin. The contents of the package are to be worn upon arrival for your own protection. You have two hours to prepare yourself."

The messenger takes a deep breath and smiles before getting a drink of water from his flask and then turning for the door with the words "Well better get going. Need to fetch a med nin to send after you according to the instructions" And then he was gone.

Now Sero was sitting alone still in the mist on the edge of the grave yard. The Mist near him slowly swirling away from the heat as the Jutsu was nearly complete. He could hear his heart beat increasing in tempo as the hot blood rushed through his veins. His invention of furnace touch was now underway. His ice grey eyes stare straight ahead as the Mist pushes away from where he was sitting in slow waves. The hot air directly from his body slightly pushing the cold away and the Mist gave it the appearance of motion as it thinned near him. The cold air causing thin strips of steam to rise from him As if steam rising from ones hot breath but all of him.

The package bon had been given was Osada's training outfit... resistant to flame with what appears to be something as thick as oven mitts for sleeves and legs, chest and back. The stomache was even thicker.

Taking the package from the worker as he relays the message, and wishing him haste in finding a medical nin Bonreu opens the package and inspects the outfit with in. Obviously flame resistant Bonreu thinks to himself, and padded so physical trauma is expected, as well as intense heat. Friendly ground would give hint to training he continues to muse, but with Sero training can very easily turn deadly. Against a superior opponent a quick and decisive surprise attack would be best, but he would have to show up first so that Sero dosn't think he is an assassin, and end up getting killed so that plan is out.

Bonreu continues to come up with several plans as he dons the outfit and gets used to the range of motion. Today is going to be painful, but if things go well he might get a chance to give Sero pause, at least if Sero is pulling his punches. Laughing as he finally heads to the graveyard, and to his doom Bonreu says to himself "He wouldn't kill me, a fello ninja of the mist, would? Na." But after a few moments his brain catches up "But broken bones isn't killing now is it." A quick swear escapes his lips.

Finally getting to the graveyard within the 2 hours limit Bonreu waits for Sero to finish his pre battle meditation, or what ever he was doing now, and remembers all the loyal ninja that have died for their country that lay buried below him. When Sero acknowledges him he bows from the waist and speaking with a calm and steady voice, putting as much respect into it as he can, for he addresses the deadliest ninja in the entire land "Hello Lord Sero, thank you for inviting me here today for training. How shall we start?" After finishing his introduction he ready's himself for immediate attack, a dodge left to start. Just because a surprise attack is out for him, doesn't mean Sero can't.

Sero paused in his thoughts as he realizes his current student was arriving. He was even wearing the Osada training outfit. It would be nice to train with someone who followed directions. Usually people wanted to try and antagonize or disobey ignorantly. He lets his lips twitch a moment into what was almost a smile. It was almost odd that people had a sense of court now. To call him a Lord though...he needed to come up with a way to address the ranks. After all he was breeding the next generation of murderers and slayers. Not house servants. there was a difference between murderers and slayers. Murderers where those that found theyre limits within just the killing of others. who would seek out prey until they too died. But Slayers would be unstoppable. The idea of a slayer coming after even the best Shinobi would rain terror in theyre heart. A slayer would have the potential to surpass Sero.

His thoughts drift momentarily to Kei though. For some reason he did not desire to die in battle himself. Instead he looked forward to going home to her. Though he knew his children would have expectations set for them and life would be difficult. He was confident Kei would handle it. After all the Osada where of the first house of Kiri's Resurrection. Meaning currently they presided over the country. It was a troublesome responsibility but that was why he spent his time preparing. A puppeteer with immense Potential. And now an Uzumaki with his blood line. Sero tilts his head studying the boy a moment before rising. His feet carrying him towards the boy.

The movements of Sero where creepy. It was like he was slowly gliding down the walking path towards his student. The Fog swirling in around him and then back away from him as his grey eyes seem almost lifeless staring into his students. He then rests his hand on top of his students head. It was abnormally warm but not painful. Like pulling hot clothes out of the dryer kind of hot. Still the touch only lasted a moment. And then Sero was walking a safe distance from the graves. Before speaking his mind to the lad.

"I bring you here Bonreu because I expect great things from you. Today you may do as you see fit to accomplish the goal. Here you have a setting where the opponent is obscenely more powerful then you. Running isnt an option because if they are fast enough to kill you they are fast enough to catch you. What is left is your mind. You must strategize your abilities and your surroundings while constantly attempting not to die. I will be testing out a new jutsu on you. However the jutsu only lasts a short period of time. you only need to survive for ten minutes. If not the clearly I thought to highly of you and conveniently we are near the grave yard."

Sero lifts his right hand and concentrates. Preforming the Ninjutsu and making himself run even hotter. The heat could be felt running off of him like a stove top now as a stream of steam rises from him. His right hand seems to turn red first.... and then up the wrist disappearing into the sleeve. Reappearing on the neck and then all of him was red. The very air around him was feeling warmer now and his red skin gave him the appearance of a demon. He breathes out and a small cloud of thick steam rises like smoke from him. He was beginning. And if the enemy was not prepared. then it would be over quickly.

The heat felt odd but wasn't harming him yet. Sero takes note of the red appearance. Naturally the amount of blood pounding hot in his veins would turn him red. He was as hot as a stove top. But he could already feel his tongue drying in his mouth. He turns moving quickly. His movements heading straight at Bonreu. A right handed back hand aimed to scald the boys face and send him flying. However it was slow. The body felt to odd experiencing this for the first time.

Sero's warm hand on his own head confirmed earlier suspicion about what form this training would take, High heat and close contact. The bad news is, as Sero is speaks, it is unlikely he will be using kid gloves if i just need to survive. At least it is good to know that Sero thinks highly of a genin.

As his opponent launches his first move Bonreu has already dodged aside and started his first ploy. Forming the hand seals as he evades the ground where he was moments before, below Sero turns to mud and starts to drag his feet away before the mud drys out rapidly from Sero's own jutsu, adding weight to his feet. Rolling from the dodge Bonreu catches himself and notices the mud drying from the heat. So begins to put some distance in between himself and the radiator towards some Tomb stones. Passing by a large tomb stone Bonreu forms more hand signs and shimmers as 4 clones run out of him to the sides as he dives behind the tombstone, using the clones to cover the dive. hopefully the naturally heavy mist will cover the low level jutsu's flaws, but in case not Bonreu ready s yet another plan.

Sero Stands still as his attack misses and he tilts his head. A movement planned ahead of time while watching for the moment to act. A ninja with a bit of a plan. It was commendable in a way but still he could feel his impatience to master the technique. He sighs and lowers his hand keeping in mind not to tap his chin. He wasn't exactly sure what would happen. He shakes his head and moves forward before raising a brow to some hand seals. And mud? interesting. If your opponent was faster then you then slow his movements. Though with Sero it would last only moments. The earth was already almost dry as dust by the time multiples of Bonreu showed up.

Stepping out of the dried cracked dirt and looks through the mist at the people standing there. Clones he would assume. It was amusing to think back on history a little bit at that. Still it had a small flaw. Sero reaches down and grabs some of the super heated dried mud. Holding it in his hand he crumbles parts away until he has several pointed pieces of super heated earth. It was kind of nice to be able to do that. Still even if his opponent was buying time to plan or assuming Sero would be gentle with a grave stone. It made Sero frown. Dishonoring the dead by using the grave stones for cover.

"Disgraceful. Not only do you give up an opportunity to strike when your opponent is weakened. You cower behind the dead. How can you affect the opponent if you hide like a mouse?"

He grabs some of his sharpened heated rocks up into his left hand to hold them while his right hand plucks them while chucking them with alarming force at each target. the rocks shattering on contact with anything solid with a very loud crack! getting hit by one would be painful.

A hearty laughter erupts from behind the tombstone. Sense when is it my objective to affect you? When facing overwhelming power i need to buy time for reinforcements to arrive, and if possible to wear you down, but for this i just need to run the clock out.

Retreating further into the mists while remaining in line of sight, Bonreu waits for Sero to make his move. To survive means that he can't use his abilities freely, he will need them for later into the fight. The more distance he can put between the two gives more time to react to his movements. Hope full the training outfit can stand up to the heat, it will be needed soon.

Sero paused in his movements quietly contemplating how to go about pursuing his prey. The boy seemed to be interested in running through the grave yard and maintaining the distance between him and his prey would be something to keep up with. If he chose not to then the boy would learn nothing from the training. Already he was getting through the time limit. If only the Mist had provided Bonreu with more cover Sero might have lost track of him quickly. Or in this case allow him to escape or time for a counter attack. Sero was letting vanity and pride get the better of him. Standing in one spot was merely a question of time before he was drawn into a trap. So he quickly Steps after Bon. Moving from his one spot he could feel his body super heating even more.

The glow around his form turns from red to white and his clothes light on fire. slowly the glow around him begins to brighten like a light and the heat coming from his body was pushing the mist away from him in a slow pattern. It was pushing the fog back far enough and fast enough it was to the point that there was nearly no cover remaining. The glow turned a bright shining white and no longer did he look like a demon but an angel of wrath descended to punish. The weaker fabric on him burned away and his hair fluttered wildly from the force of the jutsu. Where his feet held him the ground burned and every step left burning earth behind him. His Burning foot steps where far and distant in between. For he was moving in a rapid paced speed. His foot would hit the soil and grass of the grave yard like the burning wrath was after Bonreu.

However Sero was being careful. He was not stepping on or touching any of the graves he passed. For he did not wish to further dishonor them with the burning that was his touch. His eyes shined with the light that was Sero himself. He looks down at his hand and frowns. This move had weaknesses. For one he could not move without being noticed. He was a freakin beacon. He could also feel his body rapidly reaching its limits. His inner fluids level was burning up and soon he would have no ability to keep up afterwards. Still though he had time.

He moves rapidly using his superior speed abusively to get ahead of his target. He had to watch for those chains though. If the rumored tales where true then it would be all that was needed to end this deadly jutsu. Sero begins to move rapidly in a circle changing direction back and forth So that a pattern would be harder to decide when to strike. The heat in the center was increasingly hot. In a way it was almost suffocating like stepping into an oven. The white hot image moving and easily seen but the flames on the ground where growing higher like a wall. The only retreat was back into the grave yard.

It looked like he was only going to buy so much time with his delay tactics, and that time looked to be up. It was time to try pushing back a little; give Sero some real experience at using his new jutsu. He was here after all to help Sero train, as scary a thought as that was. Honestly it was more like being a punching bag that sparring or training.

Aligning himself towards the beacon that was now Sero, Bonreu reached inside himself like he did every time he used a jutsu, but instead of forming hand signs like most jutsu he just pulled the chakra out through his arms to form his clan's signature chakra chains. 5 Chakra chains with the strength of solid iron sprung from his right arm, each to a length of 20 meters. 3 of the chains arched around to act as a defensive barrier, while the other 2 chainz reached out to harass Sero if he came into their reach.

Thinking to himself without any confidence " Time to meet my maker i guess " before closing some of the distance between himself and Sero to let his chains reach. 15 meters of distance would be a bit of a buffer zone while letting him have a length of chain to fight with.

Sero calmly watched as he sped closer and closer. The flames roaring behind him now in waves Like a deadly maze from hell and he himself the demon from within the gate. It appeared as if his opponent had stopped running. He had to admire some amount of courage in the little Uzumaki. After all most would not of remained present in the presence of such power. But then again few had such a nifty ability to Shut down jutsu regardless of rank. Sero smiled coldly at the thought. Surely as long as he did not try and touch the boy he would not actually try and touch him in this state with those chains. He could feel the heat like a distant blaze from his core. But it did not burn him. His own chakra protected him. But already he felt dried out. Thirsty at the very least. He understood quickly that this jutsu was draining the moisture from him. He frowned at that and the discomfort it would mean to remain in this type of position. Likely he would not be able to hold the jutsu for much longer but for now he could hide the fact that the side effects where actually having an effect on him. If the enemy knew you had a weakness in a normal combat situation then surely they would abuse the shit out of it. But this was just practice. Neither would actually aim to harm the other if for nothing more then to be polite to an ally. Right?

Utterly wrong. He could see the fear in the mans eyes and knew Bonreu's judgement was slipping. Sero's eyes narrowed as he watched his opponent reach inwards. Don't do it do not do it. He whispered to himself in his mind. But disappointment filled him within seconds of that thought. The Uzumaki must have decided his last hope was those wicked chains and so it was. If those so much as brushed Sero it was over. But Sero would suffer severe injuries. It angered him that his own subordinate would go to such extreme measures during a harmless trial run of his new jutsu design. Sero Stopped running back and forth and the flames flickered around him wickedly. New flames sprouting from the ground at his feet. Something from the flames burning let off what sounded like a demonic growl but indeed it was only Something breaking away from the flames. The Bright pillar stood there staring at The other man with fists clenched. The heat had reached its peak now. The breeze brushed through him and carried immense heat down wind blasting his opponent with the feeling of being next to an open bon fire. It was then that Bon charged forward with three chains swirling around himself and two chains reaching for Sero. Sero could only sigh and then turn sliding to the left as the Chain flew by him. Not even close to him. Nor did he want them to get any closer.

Sero Launched backwards in a rapid back step through the flames. They did not really seem to affect him as he passed through them. But he was managing to keep away from the full length of those chains. He had to convince his opponent to put the chains away. Otherwise he would be forced to break the mans concentration with immense pain. He didn't have complete control of this jutsu yet but he felt it coming to him. The full understanding of what the Furnace's capabilities where. But for now those chains had to keep his attention.

He opened his mouth to talk but it instantly felt dry. He had not expected his mouth and throat to be so dry. He felt pain as he went to speak and quickly shut his mouth. So with in moments of activating the jutsu it would impair his communication abilities then. He frowned at that realization. So he would not be able to communicate the order to settle down to Bonreu after all. Still between them was lines of flames separating the two combatants. And unlike himself he was fairly sure Bonreu could not cross flames unharmed. It was then that a new Idea crossed his mind. He was not so short ranged after all. Not with his body running this hot. After all just from his passing he had lit the earth of fire. Even now the earth at his feet burned as if it did not accept his power. His shining eyes locked onto Bonreu as he bent down. Scooping up a hand full of pebbles.

He shuffled the pebbles between his hands letting them get hotter and hotter. A heat so intense that these harmless little pebbles now held more pain then a Senbon. Indeed the burning pain from being touched by one of these would be nearly unbearable. And so He took them in both hands. His hands reaching back behind him before he hurled two handfuls of super heated pebbles at Bonreu forcing Bonreu to defend against such a spread out ranged attack. However this was hardly his goal. Merely a very costly distraction to ignore. And it gave him time to use it as cover. for his next jutsu in case the man came at him despite the flames between them. Slamming his hands together Sero focused his jutsu preforming the hand signs needed for the steam clones. As soon as the 6 pillars of light appeared all 6 clones rushed through the flames to attack Bonreu head on. Reaching for him. But Sero himself would let those clones be destroyed by the chains. For he was moving around behind Bonreu as he defended from the onslaught. He could not allow the chains to continue against him after all so As he popped up behind Bonreu he reached through the Opening in the chains the sudden heat on his back the only warning before A scolding hot hand slaps across Bonreu's back Burning through the clothes and Burning the flesh in a rapid and painful searing burn. Hopefully the blackened flesh of the hand print would break Bonreu's concentration and force the chains to drop. Then and only then would Sero consider dropping his own jutsu. If only for the reasons of safety.
