Binsu

D-rank

Binsu had woken up that day, knowing he had a few missions to complete that day and that his time in which to do them was limited. Today, he had to take on a mission called, ‘Find a Lost Shoe’. Apparently, some crazy tourist had lost his shoe, and requested that the Raikage make this a mission. Why the Raikage would make such a task a noteworthy mission was beyond Binsu, but he believed that a mission was a mission. He had a goal, one he had set for himself, by himself, that required him to complete a certain number of missions. He was a chuunin, yes, but he wasn’t as strong as a true, Chuunin ranked Shinobi. He lacked the combat experience and lacked to resources in order to be a successful aspect of his village. He was determined in fulfilling his dreams of one day serving his village with great importance, but in order to get to the top, we all must start at the bottom. Binsu, was at the bottom, but he had so much hope that he could almost taste his dreams. His future was shining bright, and he hoped it’d stay that way. One way of making sure that that happens was getting stronger, and getting stronger included doing missions, such as the one he was going to tackle on today.

So, all Binsu had to do, was find his foreigner’s shoe. Did the shoe have to be the exact shoe the guy had lost? Or could Binsu make his way over to the local clothes shop and buy another shoe just like the one the guy had lost and say it was the one he had lost, but Binsu had found it? Binsu didn’t like the idea of spending his entire day looking for a missing shoe around the village, to him it sounded tedious and really, unnecessary: why would anyone loose a shoe in a village then expect someone to go looking for it, when they could’ve just bought another shoe, or a new pair of shoes if they can’t find another to match? Binsu couldn’t think about the matter too long, for today was a big day for him today. Today was the day Binsu had planned to complete his 8th and last mission he needed to apply to be an ANBU. He had become a Shinobi in Kumo for this one reason: to serve his village with great respect. Becoming Kumogakure’s first ANBU ninja would be great for his history, many Kumogakure nin would go to all sorts of libraries and read about his great success. His name would go down in history, if his identity as an ANBU was ever revealed to the outside world. For a moment there, Binsu remembered that an ANBU ninja’s status in the ANBU and identity was only known by his or her Kage and fellow ANBU mates, if any. This meant that Binsu wouldn’t be known as the great ninja he was, he wouldn’t be remembered for all the good things he did in the village, but he didn’t mind that. He would still serve his kage and village with great honour, with nothing in return.

Binsu snapped back from his day dreaming for a moment, and then realised that for that dream of becoming an ANBU to happen, he’d first need to complete this final, 8th mission. After thinking about it some more, he couldn’t waste the entire day on his last mission if it was just finding some guy’s silly old shoe, he had better things to do, like prepare himself for the new title if he managed to get it. He quickly rushed over to the shops, and bought a shoe that fitted the guy’s lost shoe’s direction. He bought two, incase it was the wrong side (left shoe or right shoe). He made his way towards the guy and handed him the false shoe, but he assured the guy that it was the same shoe he had lost. The guy didn’t seem like he was in the mood to check if it was his real shoe or not, he was just happy he had a second shoe again. He smiled at Binsu and then took off in the other direction. Binsu, with a smirk on his face, made his way towards the kage’s office to accept his reward.
