It was early afternoon, about 1:30 to be exact. If one were to describe the weather, it would be described as just right. Yammy's Grandmother, Rena, had sent him on a errand. You see they normally grew their own produce, however due to recent events Rena had not be able to properly take care of their moderate sized garden. The vegetables had not yield how she expected. Which is why Yammy was here, the cloud marketplace. There were stalls and there were stores. The stalls were all locals who peddled whatever goods they had to offer, while the stores were more of a convenience, of course there were some stores that sold produce and what have you. Although, they would buy out whatever peddler was doing good with their stand.

Yammy walked through the marketplace slowly. He looked over each produce stand carefully. he wasn't in a rush, as his Grandmother was a very meticulous person when it came to her vegetables. Some stands did not take proper care of their produce, while some overcharged for their product. It been so long since Yammy had to do this that he'd forgotten why exactly they had a garden. Yammy became disappointed in the people of the cloud slightly. He'd figured they would hold themselves to a certain standard.

That was until he came a cross a well kept stand. The produce gleamed in the light, it was the water that made them gleam, but Yammy saw only how well the produced looked. They'd been organized meticulously by the stand owner. It was obvious by the quality of the produce that the stand owner took care of their product in a similar fashion to his Grandmother. "Hello? Any one there? I'm trying to buy some of your products." He called out. Their stand was rather large, but he didn't see the owner. It appeared there was some sort of back area as he saw a large sheet covering something on the backside of the stand. Instead of taking anything of moving to the next one he stood there waiting.

"Hello? Any one there? I'm trying to buy some of your products.", Ibara would sigh heavily before standing from her chair tucked in the corner of the back of her tent, snuggly set between a large tree and a basket of brightly colored dragonfruit. More and more often, she was considering leaving the stall for good. She alone did not need the income, but it seemed as though it was something she had to maintain for the sacrifice her parents had given her. If nothing else perhaps she ought to hire someone else to tend to the stall, she were so tired of sitting here day after day peddling her goods. Her time would be so much better spent tending to those plants and experimenting with the ones hidden in her garden. Still, she were here today and ought to greet the customer who shouted back at her. From behind the sheet she would stride, just for a moment revealing what easily could have been mistaken for a slice of jungle taken as put here within the stall. A sickly sweet smell would waft forward with her from the back, only to fade away as the sheet would fall closed.

”what do you need”, her tone was flat and her face expressionless. The only indication that she was actually asking a question instead of being angry at being bothered was the peculiar way in which she tilted her head which seemed to convey her interest. As she would move her silken white hair would fall down to the side, revealing a pale pink and while flower in place of a right eye. The pale petals would brush down across her cheek, swaying softly as her head moved. The single eye she did have was a similar shade as the flower, and though it were a normal eye it seemed to be lacking something, there was no glimmer behind it. It would take in the market-goer who had approached her stall, like she were examining a strange animal before here. Every being was different, and she wondered what secrets he bore. It was no place to ask, all she were here was a vendor, but she was intrigued as to what the mysterious aroma from her flower would appear to him as. “is there something I can help you look for?, again, it was clearly a question but the tone did not portray that, only that slight tilt of her head.

A sweet aroma, carried by the wind,  wafted towards Yammy. It drew his gaze away from the vegetables and fruit before him to the the back of the tent. Before he saw the stand owner, Yammy, saw a small thicket of what looked like a small piece of jungle. Stepping from the thicket was a somewhat woman, dressed in a veil of white with pink accents, which came from the flower covering her eye. Yammy had never seen a orchid such as that, it had long pale white petals with a rose pink carpel. From where he stood she appeared to be the same age as him, while being a few inches shorter.  The closer he got the more the flower covering her eye stood out.  Causing Yammy to noticeable stare. His golden eyes locking in with the pink eye and flower of the mystery woman.

When she spoke a warm, but sweet aroma drifted from the flower. It smelled of freshly baked cinnamon. His favorite smell, yet one he did not smell often. It reminded him of his mother. Which was something his Grandparents did their best to keep from within the home, as to not remind him of her. His concentration on the smell broke as soon as he was spoke to. "Um, yes I was looking for a few items. I see you have here." Yammy had to regain his thoughts for a second. The appearance of the women was one Yammy was not use to and was truly intriguing. "I need a few stalks of Broccoli, some Spinach, Sweet Potatoes, and..." He looked back a forth for a second. "Tumeric, if you have any."

Yammy looked at the flower once more, wondering about it. "If you don't mind me asking, where exactly did you find that flower. I've been all through the surrounding mountains and have yet to see any in comparison."

The inquiring individual would meet her lopsided gaze, something that strangers avoided so often due to her... unusual.. appearance. "Um, yes I was looking for a few items. I see you have here”, even she couldn't help but be amused at the lost for words pause that her appearance caused, being an object of interest. Raising her brow inquiringly she would indicate that she were waiting for him to list what he were here shopping for, "I need a few stalks of Broccoli, some Spinach, Sweet Potatoes, and... Tumeric, if you have any." She was unsure of that was what he was actually seeking of if those happened to be the first things he could spot from the shelves, as each and every one of those items were well stocked and fresh. Vegtables had never been the most interesting crop to grow, but food was essential even to her and it was what her parents had always stocked in their stall.

Ibara would turn to collect the requ ested items, but was caught off guard with another question,"If you don't mind me asking, where exactly did you find that flower. I've been all through the surrounding mountains and have yet to see any in comparison." A strange smile would cross Ibara's face, and if it were not visible by the awkward way her lips curved her face would twist into a smile that was all too rare if not unseen before on her visage. “I've not seen it to grow anywhere else”, she would turn and stand just in front of the boy before speaking again, ”Here, give me your hands. Palms up.” She would wait, though rather impatiently, and if he were to move his hand too slow for her liking she would gently take his wrists and pull them together in front of him. ”Cup them”, she would wait for him to heed her command and then she would look him in the eye for a moment. She would place one hand beneath his, cupping under where his hands met, and the other she would hold over his with fingers straight and palm facing downwards.

”Now hold still for a moment”. From her downwards facing hand, soil would sprinkle down, dark and fertile. A single pale white seed would fall into the small pile, followed by the trickling of water. Her single eye would flit between what rest in his hands and whatever reaction he would have. Taking a deep breath and exhaling, magic would begin to take place. Between her palms were waves of chakra dedicated to nothing more than helping the growth of life, and that is what would happen. From the damp earth a small green sprout would emerge, then two nubs that would unfurl into leaves. Upwards it would grow, now several inches tall and full foliaged. Ibara knew what would happen now, so she kept her gaze on the boy's reaction. A single bud would swell from the top, far larger and much paler than those that would grow to leaves. It would seem as though it could get no bigger before toppling over from its own weight, then outwards the petals would blossom. It were a mirror image to the one on her face, though slightly larger. Even stronger was the smell that wafted from the flower, though it were identical to the original.

Stepping back Ibara would wipe her hands on her dress and look to the boy, ”now you have one of your own”, she would grab a small ceramic pot from a shelf and set it beside him, “Put that in there, and then you can pick what ones you want from my stock.” It was unlike Ibara to bestow a gift upon someone, perhaps even more unlike her to willingly commune with any other human for more than a moment. Ibari couldn't help but walking to her masterpiece, extending a single finger and running it along one of the silky petals and think aloud, “How wonderful...”

Although, Yammy was generally a...suave individual, the appearance of the woman rattled his mind. Mostly because when he met people with interesting appearances he wanted to flood them with questions. Especially when they were around his age. He had a elephant's memory, so any child he'd seen in the academy or played with as a child would be familiar. She was one of those people Yammy had never seen. Yammy continued to examine the flower. It was odd, yet beautiful. From how her hair lay, there was no hair pin, so what exactly was holding it there? Which was even more intriguing.

Being the hormonal youth he was. Yammy looked away from the flower to further examine the woman. Her shape was rather alluring, curvaceous and slim, while being fit at the same time. Was there a such thing as the ideal body type for woman? If so, she had it. He wasn't shy about his quick look at her figure either. When his eyes returned to her face he saw the smile she awkwardly tried to hold back. 'Grow anywhere else? What does she mean by that.' He thought to himself. Yammy raised a eyebrow to her request. However, wanting to see where this was going he hesitantly did what was asked of him.

He slowly held his hands out only to have them yanked gently to the proper position. Yammy smiled slightly at the womans smile and abruptness of what was happening. He cupped them and what came after amazed him. With a hand under his and one above the woman began doing something Yammy had never seen before. He couldn't see it, but he felt soil begin sprinkling into his hand. Due to the pile of soil Yammy didn't feel the seed plop into it. It wasn't until the seed began growing that Yammy realized anything, but the soil was in his palms. A gleam of amazement shined in his eyes. Once the seed began to flourish. "Wha? How?"

Yammy returned the gaze of the woman. "What are you?" He thought about his word choice for a second. "Who are you? How'd you..." His eyes returned to the plant that had grown in his hand, which came from the palm of the woman. He looked at the flower over her eye and thought for a minute. A slightly sullen look swept over his face. "Is...does...how do I say this? That flower over your eye. It is over your eye...right?" A look of amazement would return regardless of her answer. He quickly placed the plant inside of its new home. "I'm going to take great care of it!" Yammy replied excitedly. He dusted his hands off and opened his grocery bag. "Let me seeeee." They all looked good, however he did what his grandmother showed him.

While Yammy was filling his bag he looked at the woman marveling at the flower. "I'm Yammy Hito by the way." He said just as he filled the bag with the remainder of his list. "It's a pleasure to meet you and Thank you for the gift. I'm going to have to return the gesture somehow." Yammy said strapping the bag over his shoulder, to be able to carry the plant with both hands. He turned back towards her and smiled warmly.

Ibara knew that the young man's gaze was likely focused on the bloom that hid so mcuh, even though her head were turned in a manner in which that would be all he could see of her face. Even more alluring than a sweet scent were an attention drawing appearance. Why else would flowers have such bright colors? Without looking she was well aware that his eyes were all on her. As she would will that flower to grow, not letting his wandering gaze sway her attention from her practice. From the dirt the plant would sprout and that was enough to draw eyes away from her form. Something coming to life before one's very eyes was not something that was easy to look away from, a truly captivating moment. "Wha? How?", now that was the response she was expecting."What are you?", and that wasn't. An angry eye would meet his gaze, anger for being asked a question she didn't really know how to answer herself. "Who are you? How'd you...”, he was backpedaling, he knew that his phrasing was less than ideal. It did not truly bother her as much as the glare portrayed, even she were aware that she was something unnatural.

The man's eyes would drop back down to what had grown from his hands, seeming to mull words over in silence before speaking them. "Is...does...how do I say this? That flower over your eye. It is over your eye...right?, not the first time she had been asked, and not the first time she would let it pass without comment. There were stranger things in this world, though she were among some of the most odd.  Turning her head to look out at the road in front of the stall, it seemed nearly intentional the way the wind caught on a petal and blew it away from her cheek just breifly. Beneath the underside of the petals seemed to be nothing more than a few tendriling vines that reached back into an empty socket. Back to him she would turn as he would turn to his chore of shopping, if he had looked away for even a second he would have missed the gristly view.

He would remark to himself as he filled the bag he had brought with him,"I'm Yammy Hito by the way. It's a pleasure to meet you and Thank you for the gift. I'm going to have to return the gesture somehow." It would distract her from her own examination of the flower that had not been anything before. “Ibara”, she would pause for a moment as she considered it strange how she were branded with the clan name Senju without knowing anything about what it meant, “Senju. And you are quite welcome.” Stepping forward as he would heft the bag over his shoulder and with a finger she would pull open the edge and peer within. “what are you making with all this?” There were few ways to catch Ibara's interest, though plantlife and their uses were one of them. Though no stranger to meat... of all kinds, she were very capable of crafting any sort of meal from any combination of vegetables. Perhaps the strangest of all things to come out of mouth, she would make a strange offer, “Perhaps... I could help you prepare them. Grab some more, anything you'd like to try.” Being social were not her strong suit at all, and perhaps even he would response she would begin piling a number of strange fruits and vegetables into a basket of her own.

Once Yammy took notice of the way Ibara looked at him, he smiled awkwardly. His word choice had struck some nerve, as he figured it would. "Well you know I didn't mean it like that." He said awkwardly laughing. He hadn't taken notice to her blank stare into the distance, until the slight breeze caused his head to turn. That's when he saw it, the vines which held the flower where it was. 'As I suspected.' The flower appeared to be there through the use of some kind of jutsu. 'Some kind of Medical ninjutsu? Did she manage that herself?' Yammy thought to himself. He left those question pinned in his minds clipboard for now, choosing to comment on the raw beauty of what he saw. "A unique and beautiful orchid, for the mysterious hidden flower of Kumogakure." A warm an inviting smile was the look on his face his face.

"SENJU?!" Yammy blurted out as Ibara stepped towards him. He'd only heard a few things of the Senju. Aoi, his Grandfather, ad told him they were a clan loyal to Konohagakure being one of the initial founders of the village. Not only that they were a scarce bunch, not being many of them. At least that's what he was told. One being here in the village meant there must've been more than previously thought. His shock had almost made him forget how close Ibara was standing to him, it was until now the smell of vanilla wafted from her flower. Her interest caused Yammy to look down into his bag , almost forgetting what he'd put in it.

"Well I'm not making anything. If it was up to me we'd only be eating rice and barbecue."
Yammy said jokingly. He knew how to cook, however it wasn't anything extravagant. "My Grandma is probably going to make some stew and baked sweet potatoes." This being the actual response to Ibara's question. "I haven't brought anyone to the house in a while. Although Grandpa is always mentioning how I should make more friends." Yammy pondered what too add, ultimately coming up empty. "Well you can choose whatever you'd like. It'll be like a stew off. Not sure if you can cook better than a grandma." Yammy said laughing, figuring it was a running joke that no one can make it like Grandma use to.  Rena wasn't to privy to accepting help cooking, often even kicking Yammy and Aoi out of the house at times. Of course the duo would often pick at what she was cooking  before it was even finished.

“senju?!”, the exclamation was not a suprise to hear as a reaction, but she was not sure why it drew such a reaction. "Well I'm not making anything. If it was up to me we'd only be eating rice and barbecue. My Grandma is probably going to make some stew and baked sweet potatoes", Ibara would nod in agreement as a simple rice and barbeque were one of her favorite meals. Game however required much more time to acquire, unlike her nearly endless supply of produce. Ibara would wrinkle her nose at the thought of a stew, overbearing thickness not letting the beauty of individual ingredients shine, but she wouldnt say anything on it. "I haven't brought anyone to the house in a while. Although Grandpa is always mentioning how I should make more friends...Well you can choose whatever you'd like. It'll be like a stew off. Not sure if you can cook better than a grandma", Ibara was committed now to enjoy a meal with a stranger and their family, and was now questioning if that was the right option at all. A moment of hesitation would pass and she would heft a jackfruit into her bag while commenting, “I bet I could cook this and you wouldn't be able to tell it apart from pulled pork.” Ibara would begin grabbing a large selection of herbs and spiced from the rack on which they were stored, everything from dried peppers and chilies to garlics, paprika, star anise. She did know her spices and she knew them well, an added bonus being that as long as she had tasted something once she could recreate it perfectly in her garden. With a simple pull of a curtain around the stall she had closed it, though perhaps not a wise business choice as she was well aware she did not need it's income. Having closed the stall and with a heavy bag of produce in her hand she would wait for him to take lead. Before they would start on their path, she would turn her head and look at him strangely and would awkwardly thank him for the invitation.

“You know... I don't think anyones invited me over for dinner before”

A surprised look appeared on Yammy's face. He'd never even herd of a jackfruit before, let alone of being able to make a fruit taste like pork. His mind went into a frenzy, bottling all the questions he'd wanted to throw at Ibara. A array of herbs, spices, and produced had been brought together in Ibara's bag. Yammy leaned forward slightly to peer into the bag. Some of the items were unfamiliar to him, but he was more so interested in how she would accomplish this feat. Ultimately his conscious would bring him too ask a single question. "What exactly is a Jackfruit? I've never seen or heard of one before." It wasn't his fault of being misinformed, of course, Kumogakure didn't have fruit such as this, which made him all the more interested.

Yammy did a double take, noticing Ibara's head turn, then her awkward look at him. He felt ta bit confused as to what it was for, until she spoke her peace. He smiled a little from her tone of voice. Looks like she felt just as awkward as he did. "Well looks like I'm your first friend in the village, and your the first one I've had in a long time." He said with a inviting smile, showing all his teeth. This was a feeling he hadn't felt in a while. Of course the two had jut met, yet they felt like birds of a feather. Yammy had been living his life in isolation, minus hi grandparents, for so long he'd forgotten exactly how to communicate with others. He was but a shell of his former self. However after this encounter with Ibara, a individual much like himself, he'd began to remember how he once was.

He looked at their two bags, without a word Yammy took the bag from her. Yammy turned away and walked ahead of Ibara. He looked back over his shoulder at her. "Guess we should get going. Not like it's getting late, but Granma Rena likes to enjoy herself as she cooks." Not wanting to divulge anymore information from want Ibara was about to experience he ended his statement there. Too be frank, Ibara was in the time of her life, with Rena. Although she appeared stern, and often was, Rena had a boisterous personality. Her recent assault by Lagos, Yammy's Father, had caused her normal attitude to slow down. She however had been back to herself as of late.

They walked and walked for what felt like at least 30 minutes. The only thing that made their small journey feel like that was any conversation that was held.

Yammy lived far from the Market, closer to the outskirts of the village, nestled close to a mountain ridge that held a large amount of plant life for Kumogakure standards. This had come from years of hard work from both Aoi and Rena. Not only that but the graciousness of the land itself. Their front yard full of colorful flowers and tall grass, as the back of their dwelling was home to a small section of woods. The trees large, but thin for their height. Yammy had become so accustomed to it, he never realized most id not have a abundance such as this around their homes. Something he'd only realized after coming from the Market.

"I'm home."
He called out stepping into his old styled Japanese dwelling. Rena could be heard in the kitchen preparing the other ingredients of the stew. The smell of , chicken, beef broth, and spices filled the air. She was singing a tune along with the radio. It was one of those old classics from her youth, that put a pep in her step. Yammy removed his shoes and led Ibara to the kitchen. Looking back at her in the process. "You've come at the right time," He said with a slight laugh and smile. Aoi had been on the porch, the sliding door of the living room open, making him visible. He held up his hand and waved at Yammy and Ibara, noticing them as he glanced over his shoulder. He wasn't one to make a fuss over someone being brought in. They would speak if Yammy's guest were to stay until dinner was finished, or if a impression were made with Rena. Of course he wasn't opposed to Ibara speaking to him first, either way he was enjoying his sake and the weather that paired with it.

When the two walked into the kitchen, Rena could be seen doing a little happy dancing as she stirred spices into the broth. Rena was slightly surprised to see Ibara, so much so her happy dance stopped and she began looking the girl up and down. "This is Ibara. I met her today when I was shopping. These vegetable actually come from her stand in the market." Yammy said in advance knowing the next words that were to follow Rena's gaze. she held her head high, as if she'd be the judge of that. Yammy placed the bag on the counter, parallel from his grandmother. Rena looked into the bag and began removing the produce she had asked for. She carefully looked over each one, similar to how Yammy had. "Green-thumb yah have huh girl?" She asked looking at Ibara. "These are some of the best greens I've seen since I grew them yah." Her voice strong, yet calming and soft.

"My name is Rena. That be my husband, Aoi, on the porch there." Rena said holding her right hand up and pointing with her thumb. "Welcome to our home."

"Looks like you impressed her. Grandma doesn't give compliments out often. Not sure if I mentioned before she's picky when it comes to our diet."

"Of course Yammy, only the best. you wanna be scroungy or have some muscle about yah." She snapped back quickly, causing Yammy to awkwardly smile. "As long as I get the job done Grandma." He said shrugging the smile now replaced with a smirk.

Ibara gave no response or any gesture. Rena was taken back by this. She wasn't so nice to often greet people in such a way. Her face scrunched up at the thought of Ibara's presence in their home. Yammy also felt uncomfortable with that. He knew how his grandmother was and from their conversation in the market, Yammy figured Ibara would become a close friend. He was wrong. "Ibara you're going to have to go. He showed me a different person from the market. You may take this plant back as well." Yammy showed Ibara back to the front door, as politely as he could.

"I hope we can continue to be friends after this, however we take respect and consideration highly here." It was as if Yammy was all to use to having to sever ties with someone. He did do this all once before. He opened the door for Ibara letting out a deep sigh. "See you around." Yammy shut the door behind her as she walked out, not giving Ibara a chance to speak. He returned to the kitchen where Rena was standing, looking as frustrated as she would get. "I apologize Grandma. It won't happen again." Rena remained silent and returned to cooking, Aoi simply smiled. He hadn't moved a inch. "As quick as they come."

Yammy let out another sigh before exiting the kitchen. he moved through the living room to the screen door. He stood there for a moment before stepping outside and sitting next to Aoi. Whom didn't say a word. Yammy looked at Aoi and for a moment thought about speaking on what just happened. Instead he looked at the hue of the sky and sat quietly.
