Rough and pale. That's how Fuyuko would describe her first impression of the land of earth. Those words could probably also be used to describe the land of wind, but more applicable words would probably be hot and coarse in that case, perhaps even bleak instead of coarse. It mattered little, there was very little the country could do about it's appearance. Mother nature is after all a cruel mistress and doesn't care for what happens to its inhabitants, they have to fend for themselves.
From an outsiders perspective you could question why Fuyuko was venturing towards the land of earth. After all Fuyuko had next to no connections to the land of earth. Now that she thought about it herself, she didn't know anyone that originated from the village either. She had met a decent amount of people, from all of the major villages except from this one. At least, hopefully, that would change soon and her adventure to these lands would pay off as well.
There was a very simple reason for why she was here, however, the answers she sought for that reason were anything but that. Fuyuko was on a quest of discovery, not about self discovery, but one where she learn about the world. For as long as she has been a shinobi she's been consistently surprised by how the gears seemed to be turning the machine. Where her world used to look colorful and peaceful, having been a shinobi has taught her almost exclusively the opposite. Every encounter with criminals or other shinobi bar a few were grim and unpleasant. Forced to do things that were not fun or just out right appalling. However, due to her position there was no way for her to refuse the tasks that were granted upon her. She had to soldier through them and see them through to the end, no matter her opinion on the matter.
So now she found herself on a quest to find out how the gears moved. What were the things that motivated the villages to do or not do something. Essentially, what was it that made the clock tick. What better place to do such a thing then talk with people that stood on top of the world. The people that could move mountains if they wanted to, the leaders of each village, the Kage. They orchestrated it all, although, even that wasn't entirely true. The Kage were technically merely the head of the military department of a country. So for the best answers she would've needed to ask the Daimyo the questions that are manifesting in her mind, but the Daimyo couldn't be reached so easily, or even better said, impossible by someone who was merely someone in the army. The Kage however were reachable, by anyone that was in the army, depending on rank it was easier or harder, but it was always possible. So for the time being it would be the one she would have to take.
Which leads us to this point in time, where Fuyuko awaited the arrival of the Tsuchikage. It was the first of three Kage's with whom she wanted to talk of which she hadn't really established a relationship with. The other two being the Kazekage and Raikage. Not only had she not established a relationship with anyone from the country, she knew nothing about the country, the first conversation she would hold about this topic would be without prejudice, as open minded as she could possibly be.
In order to gain the attention of the Tsuchikage she had send a fox with a letter tied around its back and send it towards the building, it would de-summon itself when the scroll would be removed from its back. The scroll contained a simple request from herself and read 'I request an audience with the Tsuchikage. The meeting location is on top of the cliff side of the mountain that's about a kilometer west of the village.' she didn't sign it with her name, but instead signed it as a ANBU member of Konohagakure. With the letter sent all she could do now was wait. Seated on the edge with one leg dangling over the edge, the other pulled in with her chin leaning on her knee, in her anbu gear with her mask covering her face. It was now waiting time, time to find out if the Kage would accept her audience.

A council of Shinobi had assembled. The Jounin Council and the ANBU captain were present before Maikumaru. The head of The Foundry was also present. Everyone was in the room. The Assistant went around the table, pouring everyone a glass of tea. Everyone was silent. Everyone had a stern look on their face. The room had an undeniable atmosphere to it. The best word to describe it was anxious. Everyone in the room was anxious. They all distracted themselves with their tea. They weren’t drinking it calmly. They all had worried expressions on their faces. There were long posses between sips of tea for everyone. They were all worried. Scared. They were all second guessing themselves.

Everyone Except for Maikumaru.

He grabbed his cup of tea as soon as it was poured for him, and gulped it all down at once. Rather than anxious, he was eager. And now he was waiting for everyone to finish their tea. And they were taking too long. “Screw the tea. Let’s get this started. I have a lot of things to do and I don’t got all day.” Everyone looked at each other, a bit put off by Maikumaru's sudden outburst. They all put their teas down. "Good. Do we have the Juggernauts organized?"

"Yes Lord Tsuchikage. They are ready at your convenience"

"Perfect. How about the recruits. Have they settled in?"

"Yes they have. They know that they have a mission but they don't know what. They are even starting to get restless."

"Excellent. So that takes care of our main long term objectives. Did the ANBU devise a plan of infiltration and pre invasion scouting?"

"Yes, Lord Tsuchikage. I have already sent them out. They should be back within a few days."

"Perfect. You've taken the initiative, Onozo. That's what I like to see. You three are dismissed. You've played your parts well. Get ready to prepare everything.”

The council room only held Maikumaru and the Jounin Council. He looked at each of them, studying their faces like books. He placed his right elbow on the table, and rested his face in its hand. His other hand rested lazily on the table. “So. Tell me. Why do you all specifically hesitate. No one was screwing around with their tea more than you all. You aren’t getting cold feet, are you?”

The woman looked at Maikumaru with a worried face. “We chose you to become Tsuchikage when Hastur was for sure be our downfall. This plan you have. This dream of an empire you have. You’re being too bold, Maikumaru. You were never the type to hesitate, it's why we chose you to be Tsuchikage at such a desperate time, but…”

A crack had been formed on a table. It formed where his lazily placed hand had become a fist. “We are going to do this. No more hesitation. This is my chance. I am going to take it. Now, what is the state of the jackasses that are trying to become Daimyo?”

The man with the long beard and sunken eyes spoke. “Nothing has really changed. Imai has the most power, but some of some of the nobles have rallied against him, forming political alliances. They are trying to defame him.”

“Hm. Useless bureaucrats. A lot of them have stopped sending me gifts and proposals. They’ve given up on using me as a wild card. No one has noticed what we are doing. Well...except for one.” Shocked faces turned towards Maikumaru. Nervous faces. “What? What do you mean?”

“Someone came to my office. She looked like a noble woman. She had a terrible attitude. She said that noticed I was building up our forces at a critical time.”

“Wha?! Where is she now?”

“Dead.”

“How?”

“I killed then and there. Had a subordinate dispose the body.” The woman slammed her hand on the ground. “You fool! You reckless fool! We could've gotten information from her! She could be part of a bigger group! I can’t believe that...you would...um…”

Her words trailed off as Maikumaru placed both of his hands on the table. He started to stand up, in a very slow, deliberate, and methodical. The glare he gave her, the elder woman, pierced through her. He clenched his fists, and raised his chin, and looked down on her. “If there is an enemy gunning for us, I will wipe them out with my bare HANDS!” He raised his hands, palms facing up, fingers bent as if he was holding power itself. He presented them to the council. “I welcome any and all enemies. Now. Sit. Down.” The woman, enthralled by his forcefulness did as she was told, with a begrudging face. “You should learn to respect your elders.”

“My elders should learn how to not be cowards.” The door soon opened. He turned to it, ready to fly in a rage at whoever opened it. “You are interrupting an important meaning explain yourse-”

When he looked to see who it was, there was apparently no one there. His vision lowered, to see that a fox with a message on its back had entered. “How the hell did a fox get in here? He reached for the message. When he removed it from its back, it disappeared. “Huh. A summoning.”
“I request an audience with the Tsuchikage. The meeting location is on top of the cliff side of the mountain that's about a kilometer west of the village.

“What does it say?”

“Someone wants to meet me about a kilometer west of the village. Konohagakure ANBU.” He crumpled up the message and threw it without looking. “Gonna go see what it’s about.”

“You are going? But what if it’s a trap? It could be one of the nobles or even Imai-”

“Any and all enemies.” He quickly left the room. He was even hoping this was a trap. He rolled his shoulders and smirked. “I could use a good fight.”

After trekking through the badlands, he ran to its location. The cliff side of a mountain. It shouldn't be hard to find by any stretch of the imagination. Maikumaru used to live in the mountains, hunting bandits for sport. Could be a trap from one of their groups for revenge. He was eager to see what he had faced. Eventually he had finally reached the cliff. His destination. Before him was a young girl sitting on the cliff. There were no immediate attacks on his way here. “My first assumption when I got the message was that this was a trap. But that seems to not be the case. Who are you, and why did you send me this message?”

Slowly Fuyuko gazed east bound, over the village and at the horizon even further in the distance. The sun had long since moved over her head and was, judging by the color of the sky, starting its descend below the horizon. Perhaps it would've been better to send a shadow clone to deliver the message, at least then she knew when the message would've been delivered. The downside of that was that it would expand a considerable amount more chakra, which was also the reason she decided not to do it in the end. But this left her with an unknown waiting period. With nothing really to do in this barren land all she could do was gaze off in the distance. At the very least she could ponder about all possible types of personalities the Tsuchikage could have. However, she decided to not do that, it could leave a possible prejudice against them. So Fuyuko just waited and waited, looking at a sky that grew more orange as the minutes passed by.
After an unknown amount of time had passed Fuyuko finally spotted some high-speed movement that headed in her direction. A faint smile appeared behind her mask. She was happy that the Tsuchikage had accepted her request at an audience. It wouldn't be long before she would slowly, but surely, learn more about the world that she found herself in. What kind of wisdom could the Kage of this village bestow upon her? Her curiosity was peaking like usual.
Her gaze was still fixated at the horizon far off in the distance as presumably the Tsuchikage arrived at the requested location. The sentence they spoke was short and to the point, it almost sounded hostile in her ears, she wasn't entirely sure what to make out of it. Isn't a kage supposed to be accepting of all, loving everyone, unless proven otherwise? That was what a kage was in her mind, someone who would accept all, even those foreign to their lands, unless they broke the rules. However, evidently this didn't appear to be the case for this kage. In order not to anger them more Fuyuko decided it was best to answer the questions as fast as possible.
"I'm part of Konohagakure's ANBU task force. I'm not here on official matters. I simply assumed that if I sent a letter signed as such it would surely get the response of at least someone. It would appear that I was right. Why did I send the letter? There's a rather simple reason for that, I'm just traveling the world, learning about it. Upon this journey of discovery I had come to the conclusion there are few people who known more about the gears in the machine than the leaders of each village. So that's why I sent out my request for an audience with the Tsuchikage."
She hoped that the reply she gave would be sufficient to satiate the 'hunger' for answers from the person that had appeared before her. The demeanor that the person showed made Fuyuko draw the conclusion that they weren't the Tsuchikage, but instead a henchman. Even Ayakashi, who she viewed as a cruel Kage had respect for those that weren't criminals or from different lands. The latter for as far as she could tell at least, she didn't know the previous Mizukage that well after all. There was one thing that the person had said that stroke her as a little bit odd. Why would the expect a trap? What is going on in the country that would warrant such a reaction?
With her small smile that was present earlier having faded now that she had concluded that it wasn't the Tsuchikage that had graced her with their presence. "Oh well, guess we can talk about some other stuff first before I inquire where the Kage is." she thought. Her head lifted from her chin and slowly turned towards the man standing there. "So, what you just said had made me a bit curious. Why were you expecting a trap? Do Konoha and Iwa not share a good bond or are there perhaps other things going on in the country that would warrant such an assumption?" she asked with a monotone voice and observant eyes hidden behind her mask.
Fuyuko felt like she could possibly be treading on dangerous ground and so kept her body at the ready, allowing for a quick response if it was required. If they were expecting an ambush, the person that was standing her was probably at least of equal combat quality as herself. It would be bad if they got the jump on her.

“No, for now, Iwagakure and Konohagakure have good relations. Or, more accurately are indifferent to one another, if I’m being honest. The reason I'm on edge is that things are changing here in Earth Country. I’m not sure if you’ve heard, our Daimyo died not too long ago. He was old. You see, before he was Daimyo, the reign of dynasty and blood ties in The Land of Earth had ended. However, no one was ever prepared for what would happen if he were to meet his end. Imai, his son, is trying to put to reinstate the dynasty rule. And he’s the most powerful of them all. Other nobles are trying to make their own grab for the position. Alliances have been made and broken in such a short time. They come for me to be their allies, endorse them. Tch. Like hell that will happen. When I was in The Land of Lightning, my allies their were filthy pigs who cared for nothing but themselves. These nobles are no different. That’s why I rejected them. With the endorsement of the Nation’s Tsuchikage, your position would be pretty much sealed. But I have plans of my own, ones that if discovered, the nobles my call for my head. Oh and I also half expected to be ambushed by bandits. I used to live in the mountains and hunt them for fun.”

Maikumaru walked towards the edge of the cliff. He himself sat down next to it, stretching his arms. Admittedly he was slightly disappointed that this Konoha ANBU didn’t turn out to be an ambush, he decided to use this opportunity to at least relax. He had been in need of a break. “So you want to know what Iwagakure and Earth Country is like, huh? Learn a bit about it and my position. Well now it works just like any other village. We fight, go to war, kill, and die for some jackass who has the luxury to sit by and watch in safety.”

He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. “They play us like chess pieces. This world. Only those who deserves it should inherit it.” He clenched his fists, and grit his teeth. I have my own vision of Earth Country. A home for the strong, a society built on strength and power. We are a predominantly masculine and hardy society.. We are the type to not want to hesitate when it comes to making decisions. When Hastur was in power, you can imagine how many people wanting to go to all out war. Daimyo was hesitant. He wanted to maintain the peace. If it hadn’t been for his poisoning we would be in a bad position.”

The Tsuchikage stood up, and sighed. “Sorry if it sounds like I’m rambling. I have been working a lot. You can probably tell, I’m not too happy with the way things are right now for my country, and for my village. To be honest. Personally I want to conquer nations. Remind the world, and remind ourselves who we are. That is what I have in mind for Iwagakure. And for the Hedden Stone. The most grand empire the shinobi world has ever seen.” Maikumaru looked blissfully up into the sky. That was his dream. A society run by warriors for warriors. “You know Ayakashi? When I was younger I thought she was a psychopath, but these past few years have given me a new perspective. I admire her strong will, and her no nonsense rule. It was one of the things that inspired me to create Jigoku. A prison. I’m particularly proud of that place.” He put his fist on his hips and held his chin up high. “Jigoku is a place where all hope dies. Lots inmates try to commit suicide there.” Maikumaru himself spread the rumors about Jigoku. It was very effective for getting the name out. Sometimes he would let inmates go to show the world what happens when put in there. “Jigoku breaks its inmates, their minds, bodies, and souls. Sorry if I talk longer than expected. It's been a very long time since I had a decent conversation.”

Fuyuko patiently listened as it appeared that they had not triggered the person that was besides them and prepared themselves for what seemed like it was going to be a long story. She was genuinely surprised by what the person was telling her and he would've seen the surprised look on her face if it wasn't for the ANBU masking covering it. First of all she was extremely surprised to learn that the person she was talking with was indeed the Tsuchikage. It would appear that her assumption of someone like him not being capable of becoming the kage was miles off. Even if they were this way, surely they still had qualities that would give her a glimpse into the reason why this country ended up choosing him. With newfound interest in finding out more about this person she payed even more attention to what he was saying. Furthermore, she also somewhat understood why he was reacting the way he was. It seemed that there was a tug-o'-war going on in the country for power. It was something she disliked herself as well. Why did everything always have to revolve around becoming more powerful, being richer. Why couldn't people live their lifes for each other, to further the country or even society as a whole. Why was it always love for yourself and not for others.
Her eyes trailed as the man slowly got himself seated besides her. Despite the fact that he was the head of the village, it didn't make her want to drop her guard in the slightest. She knew very little about the man and didn't seem like the person that had any issues with getting their hands a bit dirty. Nor did the words he speak make his case any better. Just another person that seemed hellbent on fighting with other people and getting their point across that way instead of trying to avoid it and aim for harmony instead. It was valuable knowledge to her somewhat naive view of the world, but it didn't mean that it still started to rile up her emotions. The information about his vision for his country wasn't helping his case either. It had quite an adverse effect and only made the emotions inside of her boil more and more.
When the Tsuchikage asked if they knew the previous Mizukage Fuyuko's eyes widened a little bit. Intrigued in what they were going to say about her. Fuyuko had rather strong opinions about the previous leader of her village. While they did what they thought was best for the village, Fuyuko was opposed to it completely. It was the reason she became a Shinobi in the first place. It appeared that the Tsuchikage agreed with her to at least a certain degree on the matter. While it seems like both of them are applying a no mercy rule to their village at least the Tsuchikage had the common sense to build a prison to lock people up instead of flat out murdering them. However what little respect he had just build up by saying her had build a prison was also instantly shattered by the end of the next sentence. Her teeth grit and fists were clenched. She held it in for a bit longer, at least long enough to let the man finish his talk, but the moment he was done, she would let her emotions be known.
"WHAT THE HELL!? What is the fucking point of having a prison if all you're doing is just torturing people for your own fun and pleasure!! The point is to allow people to reflect upon their mistakes and allow them to redeem themselves!! WHO ARE YOU to decide the fate of others? Do you think you're some kind of jury, judge and executioner?!?" Her emotions had gotten the better of her and because of it the sage mode transformation that happened went completely unnoticed. Fox ears on top of her head, a tail coming out from underneath her shirt, her hair being a lot longer and her aura that usually had a horizon color to it had taken on mixture of red, orange and yellow, almost as if she was on fire.
"WHY IS IT that all people can think about is being stronger and more powerful?! WHY IS IT that the strong always get to dictate the rules? Yes not everyone is born equal, but why does that mean the people that are born less fortunate have to be treated like shit! Why is everything always about wanting more!! Why can people never have enough!?"
Fuyuko got herself up and jumped back a couple of meters creating a bit of distance between the two of them.
"TELL ME WHY I SHOULDN'T STOP YOU RIGHT NOW! Tell me why I shouldn't do my best to prevent you from causing harm to the innocent victims of war because you want to conquer more land!?! TELL ME!!!"
With a heavy breath and aching fingers Fuyuko waited for the reply of the Tsuchikage. The feeling that was rushing through her body reminded her of the night where she investigated the warehouses along the Tobirama River together with Kirei. When she found out what was taking place there. When she ran her hand through the bodies of the people that were working there. She was always adverse to killing, but her primal instincts were aching for it. If he'd be gone at least there was the potential to protect hundreds or even thousands people from the clutches of war.

Maikumaru looked at the ANBU girl, eyes widened in surprise. He wasn’t expecting an outburst like this. He studied her mask, hearing her yell at him. Placed his hands on the ledge, and slowly got up from his seat. He looked down on Fuyuko with a very very displeased expression. He had worked hard on the creation and the mythology of Jigoku. To have it be verbally squandered in such a way angered him greatly. Maikumaru had wanted to create an aura of fear around the very subject of Jigoku. He wanted people to be afraid of Law and Order, be afraid of the police force. It was a success that he was very proud of, his first major success as Tsuchikage. He wasn’t going to sit by and let some outsider judge his creations and his rule. “The point of Jigoku is NOT for rehabilitation. Its to punish those who have broken the law, and it is to set an example to those who even think once about breaking the law. Who am I to decide fate? I AM THE GODDAMN TSUCHIKAGE! I AM the Judge, I AM the Jury, and you can bet your ass I AM the executioner.” While Maikumaru was countering the rant that was thrown at him with one of his own, he noticed that she had started to steal the shape of an animal. But it was easily overshadowed by her forceful bickering at him. He himself was offended by her words. His fingers curled into a hardened fist. A hearty and jolly chuckle would escape from his belly. However the smile that the laugh manufactured disappeared, taking the form of a mask of sternness and authority, hiding his own anger.

"I have to say. You have some balls believing you can come into MY country and start insulting me. Insulting my views. I have to give it to ya, you got guts, and I'll be the first person to respect that. But I also I have to say, if I was the Hokage, I'd be really concerned for the future of my village if the damned ANBU is as soft as you are."

Maikumaru would walk closer to her, narrowing his eyes into a sharp glare. “I can crush anyone I want, to GET what I want. I don’t care if some priss of an ANBU has a problem with it. But if you threaten to stop me again...I will kill you. I will kill you and send your weak, pathetic body back to the shitty, weak, pathetic village that you came from. You got that, you little bitch?” Maikumaru’s face would lean close to her mask. His teeth would grit, and his eyes would be bloodshot with anger. Almost all sense of composure and diplomacy left his mind, leaving less than there already was.

As the Tsuchikage began his own little tantrum Fuyuko's emotions slightly changed direction. She was still infuriated with the Tsuchikage, but it was also directed at the world in general. Everything always ended up being about what the individual wanted, never thinking about what the people wanted and the man standing in front of her appeared to be no different. All he could talk about was how he wouldn't let his creation be slandered, how he was so proud of breaking people's spirits. In fact, he was even worse than Ayakashi. At least Fuyuko could find some mercy in the way the previous Mizukage went about her business, you didn't have to suffer an indefinite amount for the mistakes that you made.
Fuyuko couldn't help but laugh from behind her mask as he started calling her soft and how he had to resort to calling her names. Despite the situation she found herself in, with her emotions running high she still found that her body was calm as can be. Even when the Tsuchikage was standing right in front of her, looking down upon her, and the possibility of being completely crushed by their power, she was confident. If her life came to end here she would die with a smile on her face, she would have fought for something she truly believed in.
Furthermore, while last time she was infuriated and ended up killing a bunch of potentially innocent people this time she was fully aware of what was about to transpire. She had no issues either if they died, they clearly only cared about their own desires. They ignored answering her concerns about the people that would be affected by the gears of war as well. Sympathy was not a thing that the man was ever going to get from her. And with that Fuyuko came to the conclusion that further words were useless.
The tension between the two rose to an all time high as he leaned in. Electricity ran through her body, through her left arm and into her hand. The sound of birds chirping could be heard as she swung her arm up in a diagonal cut, aiming for his shoulder and head. The swing could easily be dodged by ducking underneath it and so she used her arms upward moment to raise her left knee, trying to hit the lower regions or straight for the mans face if they were to duck underneath it. To finish the combo off her left foot would go back towards the ground and the moment it touched the ground her fox powers would kick in. Using the powers of her senjutsu to propel her instantly in the direction they found themselves in and using her right foot to land a kick in their chest. The battle had begun. A battle about morals. A test of strengths. A conversation of power.

The Tsuchikage was impressed. When her body was charging with Raiton Chakra, he knew he was in for a fight. She might not be much of a wimp after all. However, Maikumaru wasn’t able to see the hit coming. She hit him fast. However, to him she didn’t hard. She was very fast, far faster than Maikumaru was. But as the attacks of her basic strikes weren’t what caused him the pain he was in. It was her shocking body. It felt like he was being stabbed with a taser with her hits. He felt his skin burn from the power of her Raiton Chakra. But then she would knee him right in his testicles. The jolt of lightning through his testicles were painful, but there was more of a feeling that was very uncomfortable. While he held cupped his poor painful, and weirdly feeling balls, he was kicked in the chest. This kick, however, was different. There was more power behind it, causing him to fall to the ground, a few meters away. He looked at her to realize the busy tail and pointy ears. She had turned into a human shaped Fox. It looked like a kekkei genkai of some sort but he wasn’t sure. He was reminded of the jolt between his legs. The pain cleared him of his anger. He could now think a bit more tactically. She was far stronger than he had thought she would be. However, he refused to lose like this. She was charged with Raiton. That much he knew. Maikumaru had Raiton himself, however he was unsure to what comparable extent the ANBU did. He primarily used Doton Ninjutsu. So that would be more out of the question.

However, she made the mistake of challenging Maikumaru not only in his home country, but also in his preferred fighting range. He stood up and went into a brawling stance. He stood squared, feet spread evenly, his fists were lowered to his midsection. Ever since he was young, his style was based around beating the living shit out of people with his Taijutsu until there was nothing left, using the power of his Kekkei Genkai to give him strength. However, with experience, he has learned how inefficient that was. He used the power of both Taijutsu and Medical Ninjutsu in order to draw power from the ANBU’s body. An aura of chakra was casted around them. He was taught how to use Medical Ninjutsu by the now current Raikage, Daremo. However, he didn’t like the way he did it too much. Using it as a primary source to inflict damage. Maikumaru never liked the subtle approach. That wasn’t him. However, he used it to improve upon his own style of fighting, by disabling his opponents by any means that he can, while simultaneously using Taijutsu to empower himself, allowing him to freely use his brawling for of Taijutsu to get the job done.

After performing his Brawling Stance, it would activate a jutsu. An aura of chakra appeared around him as he engaged The Fox ANBU in close quarters combat. However, the chakra around him would start to drain her power, if she continued to engage Maikumaru. Not only would his her power be drained from her once within his range, but his own power would increase farther than if any normal shinobi did this, increasing his speed, durability, and his power. Assuming he would have the upper hand by now, Maikumaru would throw a hard right hook to her. If the increase in his capabilities and the decrease in her own were to be successful, then the force of the impact would be more decisive and powerful. After the punch he would lunge his head forward, straight at the face of her mask. If the attack connected, and the mask was normal, it was likely to break. He would take the initiative that his would give him. He would wrap his large around her. He would squeeze her as hard as possible to prevent countermeasure. He would lift her up and start running as quickly as possible. After he picked up enough speed, he would jump into the air, and slammed to the ground, directly on top of the ANBU. After performing his slam, if successful, he would roll from off of her and stand up. Maikumaru would cloak himself in invisible chakra. Once she got up, he would charge into her shoulder first, using the cloak of chakra to block any counter attack while he rushed.

Fuyuko was surprised in a good and bad way. Apparently the reaction speed of the Tsuchikage was rather slow, here she was anticipating an uphill battle, but without much resistance she was capable of managing to land of her opening blows. However it seemed that the kage from this country compensated for his somewhat slow reaction with an incredibly strong resilience. Where her blows would've knocked out almost any normal person, especially the hit to the groin, he seemed relatively unfazed by it all. It was worrisome to her, but from it she also made the assumption that they would probably also overpower her in raw strength. It would appear that the battle would be a classical match-up. One person that had the physical strength and endurance to deal heavy belows and take them with ease. The other person to be more nimble and speedy, preferring to land many swift blows over a single decisive one. So no matter what it took, it was in her own best interest to avoid catching any of the blows that her opponent would likely attempt to make.
She was uncertain what the Tsuchikage was up to, but she didn't like it. There was something about his demeanor, the look on his face, it made her feel a bit uneasy. After he finished taking on his stance the man charged at her fast. She wasn't entirely sure what the stance had achieved for the kage, but it would appear that they had significantly buffed themselves. Their speed was at very least a lot faster then it was before, and while she was capable of seeing the moves and reacting to them in time, she didn't have the speed herself anymore to properly dodge them all. The hook swung just in front of her mask, but because she dodged by pulling her head backwards she left herself open for his follow up. His head smashed into her mask and while her mask didn't break from the attack, it surely was strong enough to instantly leave some cracks in her mask. Not only that, the concussive force behind the attack left an immediate headache.
Taken aback by the force of the blow and the instant headache the man managed to wrap their arm around her and started to dash off. Not having enough time to respond to the situation she found herself in she found herself up in the air before the two of them would come back down to the earth. His body on top of hers as she got sandwiched between his weight and the solid rocks below making her puke up blood on the inside of her mask and groaning in pain. They rolled off of her, which was the perfect opportunity for herself to regain control of the situation. If she was to survive this encounter alive she had to regain control of the pace of the fight. Weaving a single seal was enough for the jutsu that would do just that. A clone of herself appeared in between the two of them, giving herself enough time recover and get back up on two feet.
As the clone appeared they instantly weaved the signs snake, tiger, hare and lacing themselves in a cloack of lightning chakra. They had to buy at least enough time for the real on to get back up and the best way was to buy time. And there is no better way to buy yourself time then by defending yourself with a technique. As soon as they were done with weaving the seals required for their defensive technique they would instantly weave the sign required for another technique, but this time it was a simple singular snake seal which made the palm of their right hand glow. If the kage still charged at them the clone would intercept the charge by charging at them themselves, making sure that they had seen the glowing palm and engage them in close quarter combat.
Whilst that was going on the real Fuyuko would regain her composure a little bit and get back on her feet. After shaking her head a little bit to get rid of the lingering dizziness from the blow to her head. Once she had regained herself a little bit she would weave the seals required for one of her favorite techniques. The seals were bird, horse, rat followed up by snake. It was a seal that would activate once people were in range of it and would paralyze those that got within its vicinity. "Now!" She would yell as she dashed forward again using her sage powers to speed the process up. There was no stopping her dash, instead she would merely place her hand on the ground when she was almost next to the pair, making the chance of ensnarement the best. When she yelled her word it was the moment when her clone would fire the technique in her palm, if she hadn't already managed to make contact with it before.
