The monkeys both charge at Kennosuke, who calmly waits for them with his head slightly tilted to the side. The monkey who had been hit by his fireball slows and inhales deeply, preparing to launch a Katon technique at Kennosuke while the one who was cut continues his charge. Kennosuke grins and moves forward, the jets of Burning Ambition driving him across the ground toward the charging monkey. The monkey swings a heavy fist at Kennosuke who manifests jets around his body and easily spins out of the way. He positions himself between the two apes, keeping the attention of the first monkey on him by staying just out of reach of its melee attacks with the aid of his Jutsu.
The second monkey spews a fireball at Kennosuke, just as he expected. In a quick move he propels himself upward, his back arched and just barely backflips over the 5 meter fireball, which instead of hitting its intended target strikes the first monkey full force, charring its fur and knocking it to the ground. Without hesitation Kennosuke spins in midair, gathers Raiton chakra in the finger tips of his left hand and fires tennis ball sized ‘rounds’ of condensed Raiton at the second monkey, peppering it’s chest and face. Using it as a distraction Kennosuke bursts forward, using the full extent of Burning Ambition to close the gap between them as the monkey was recovering from his Raiton attack.
In quick succession, he slashes the monkey across the chest, thigh, and tucks behind the ape to slash at its hamstring as well, sending it crashing to the ground. With the momentary pause, He summons four Fire clones that appear in a small eruption of fire. Two clones quickly move to the side of both monkeys, draw their sword and grab them by either arm, effectively saying come with us or it ends for good. The monkeys realizing they have been bested, comply with the clones and don’t attempt to fight their restraints.
“Alright. Lets go see how Masu is doing.” He mutters before turning and using one last burst of Burning Ambition to propel him back into the trees toward his partner. The clones, half dragging the monkeys, follow after him. He spots Masu and begins making his way toward her. “Hey, Masu. How’re you holding up?” He asks, eyeing the monkey in the water prison and then the one on the ground. His clones come up behind him and he motions at them. They drive both monkeys to their knees and then two of them move forward to restrain the relatively uninjured monkey in the water prison after she released it. Kennosuke walked to the one she had stabbed and laid his blade across its shoulder, edge toward its throat. “I think we got em pretty well beat, don’t you say?” He says to Masu with a nod toward the blackened monkeys his clones were guarding.

Description: Fire Release: Burning Ambition is a fire release technique that heavily augments the user's mobility using high-speed ejection of high pressure fire akin to jet propulsion, allowing them to move at speeds up to an additional +15m/s of their maximum burst speed. Maximum travel distance is 15m. These jets can manifest anywhere on the user, allowing them to quickly dodge attacks or rapidly maneuver themselves within a 3d space as opposed to 2d. When used to climb vertically, the user is only capable of reaching heights of 30 meters above the ground before the propulsion becomes unstable and too difficult to control. This is not sustained flight, however, as it only occurs in bursts. It can also be used to quickly increase the speed of a strike depending on where the jets are manifested. Although not the intended purpose of the technique, the plumes of flames produced by the jets can inflict moderate first degree burns and set fabric alight on contact. Each post that this technique is used reduces the user's speed by 1 tier (up to -2 tiers after 2 posts) for 2 posts after the technique is ended.

Description: Electricity is built up in the fingertips of the user who then makes a specific pose with their hands (both middle and index finger extended, touching as though pointing both in the same direction). From this position, small (about the size of a tennis ball) "rounds" of electricity may be fired at will that travel 15m/s. These rounds deliver painful shocks at the point of contact and can singe clothing and leave minor 1st degree burns due to releasing its charge upon impact with any solid object. The resulting impact is enough to parry/redirect small projectiles (kunai/senbon/shuriken) midair, but are non-lethal as they lack the ability to pierce flesh, due to discharge upon impact. One or both hands may be used, but only 15 "rounds" in total may be fired before the electrical charge in the user's fingertips is depleted. No hand signs are necessary to initiate the jutsu allowing for a fast draw.

Description: The Water Clone Jutsu is similar to the Shadow Clone Jutsu except it creates clones out of fire that have one-tenth of the original person's chakra - taking after the initial activation cost of this technique has been deducted from the user's chakra pool. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control. Like other clone techniques, if the fire clones are injured enough they will revert back to their original element before dispelling. Fire clones are capable of only using katon jutsu provided they have enough chakra to cast it. Regular jutsu cooldowns apply - if a technique is used by one clone, it cannot immediately be used by another clone. A maximum of six clones may be created at any one time. The clone automatically disperses when it runs out of chakra, or when hit by any attack that can cause the equivalence of a C rank technique in physical damage [major bruising, 1-2 inch cuts, etc.] or a C-rank/2 D-Rank offensive jutsu. The user may willingly disperse a clone - returning any chakra the clone has left to the user - but this can only be done under the condition that the clone is not under direct attack. Clones which have been dispersed by other means - ie. taking damage - do not return any chakra to the user. Elemental clones created will have a 'clone' of the user's weapon(s) up to C-Rank in strength.
*Clones have their own jutsu cooldowns and do not share them with other clones unless the jutsu in question was cast before creating the clones, in which case it starts on a cooldown when the clones are formed.
