Mission Description: “As chaos reigns throughout the Lost City, and the Great Nations prepare for their departure, we will make sure that history remembers who lay claim to this wasteland.”
Mission Details: Battles rage throughout the Suna excavation site, making the territory volatile ground for even the most daring shinobi. Local groups led by Rogue ninja captains wearing black roam the streets, and an encounter with a group led by A-ranked shinobi with two chakra natures and all library techniques for their elements, leading 2-4 B-ranked non-ninja NPCs will be followed by meeting fellow Kumo forces at the rendezvous. From there, shinobi will choose to take a particular point within the city -

• Ashen Suburbs - The outskirts of the city, burned by war and banditry, this location contains a battle between Leaf shinobi and Rogue ninja. Eliminate the Rogues, and if you choose, the Leaf-ninja, and plant the Raikage’s banner. The Leaf shinobi are a squad of ANBU lead by an A-ranked ANBU captain NPC, each with two chakra natures and all library techniques for their elements. The Rogues are led by an S-ranked Senju clan member with all Library techniques for his elements and clan, leading three A-ranked non-ninja NPCs.
  
• Halls of Glass - The streets closer to the city center are littered with a large number of A and B-ranked non-ninja rogues who have overpowered village efforts. There are dozens of these enemies and prolonged provocation will draw out their S-ranked non-ninja leader, though he does possess SS-3 strength and an S-rank Odachi.
  
• The Flower - In the center of the ruins is the magnificent crystal structure where only monsters call home. Shinobi presence will provoke from beneath the structure a Giant Crystal Snake (70m long, 10m girth), capable of destroying a shinobi with its bitem crushing bones with its tail and firing glass lances from its scales capable of piercing through an individual.
  

After taking the chosen point, shinobi must plant a banner which bears the Raikage’s icon. The banner is a twenty meter tall pole with a massive flag that denotes the area as property of the Divine Mandate of Kumogakure.

Raphael stood looking out across the battlefield as the war for the village raged on in front of him, the young shinobi was apart of an elite unit that would move through the ruins of this battle torn city and lay claim to it in the name of the Raikage. Everything was as it should be the army forces were raging on with the rebel scum from the outside while Raphael and his unit moved into the city unnoticed. It was moments like this that got the boy's blood truly pumping, he did not know if it was the adrenaline of the situation or what exactly all he knew was that at moments such as these that he was truly alive. The sun had yet to rise over the horizon, it would be a dawning of a new day for the land of wind. For today was the day that history would remember as the day that the village hidden in the clouds claimed the land of wind as it's own and there was nothing that could stop them. The stars in the sky slowly faded from view as the sun's light began to shine over the horizon, now was the time to act. While the blunt of the enemy forces dealt with the mass that was the Kumogakure military, the boy and his small team would make their move. "Is everyone ready?" The boy asked his small ragtag group, though it was asked in the form of a question it was not really a question, because if one of them would have answered no then the boy probably would had stabbed them himself. "Stay close, stay out of sight. And with any luck we will meet up with the others on the inside." The boy said trying his best to give a pep talk despite his weakness with words, he was no motivational speaker but he was a jounin of the hidden cloud village and as such it fell to him to be a leader from time to time. What the boy lacked in public speaking abilities he surely made up for in his abilities as a lethal shinobi, believing in the philosophy that actions speak louder than words. When the boy when into action both enemy and comrade alike would see why it was that he was in the position that he was in. While there were those that shared his rank and possibly even his skill, the boy did not care. All the boy cared about was the completion of the mission and all he had to do was let his abilities speak for themselves. One last quick check through his gear and he looked back to the group, "who has the flag?" He asked knowing that he had handed the flag and pole to one of these members of his team though he could not remember which one. It was a question to both find out who he would have to ensure made it to the rendezvous point as well as ensure that they did not leave the flag behind before they headed out.
