Clan History: The Kobayashi family originally reigns from a clan based in Iwagakure. There were two large families in the clan: the Sakuras and the Kobayashis. The two large families had practiced the way of kendo for many years. The clan didn't practice any ninjutsu, for they felt that it was ruining the world. It allowed people to destroy much of what they loved, and it took the honor out of fighting. However, as news of a shinobi war threatened Iwagakure the Kobayashis felt it necessary to train ninjutsu techniques to the warriors who were able to fight. The Kobayashi's argued that it was the best way to protect and preserve the two family names Sakura and Kobayashi, and also protect Iwagakure. The Sakura clan, however, did not agree. The leaders and elders of the Sakura clan expressed that there was no need for them to taint the way of the clan by learning ninjutsu techniques. Not only was it dishonorable, they argued, but it was also unnecessary. The sword techniques taught to their clan were enough to protect the village. This didn't stop the Kobayashi's from attaining new jutsu and teaching nearly their entire clan how to perform them. Overtime, their clan grew stronger, learning many techniques and even creating their own. The Sakura family became fed up, and decided one day to launch an attack on the Kobayashi family. So they did. The outcome was, however, not in their favor. The Kobayashi had become too strong with the addition of ninjutsu to their fighting style. The Sakura clan was seemingly erased in that moment, and the Kobayashi clan had entered into the modern shinobi world.
